Pipes, AutoTune Programmer, Cold Air Intake, Tachometer, Cobra Backrest, Matching Passenger Floorboards, Custom Grips, Highway Bars, Custom Dynamics LED Kit all around, Front Sprocket up one tooth to make highway cruising smoother and more fuel efficient. Tuned and ready to ride. Looks amazing and sounds and runs even better. LOW LOW Miles. Currently under 3k but I ride it some. Riding 2 up or solo is a pleasure. Rear shock easily adjustable but I found a setting that works for both. Above are the facts, below is my opinion of this bike: From a distance it looks like a harley, sounds like a harley, gets as much street appeal as a harley, but it dont cost 30K. I personally believe this bike is more reliable and better running than any Harley I have ever seen. Red Line is 7800RPM this is a sport cruiser and it likes rev's. Forget every stereotype you may google about this having less power than some bikes out there. That may have been true before I unlocked the additional 20 HP for you! I love this bike. It draws a crowd at a bike night and sounds amazing. Will run with any harley and with the mods has as much or more power than a stock vulcan 1600. Gets about 38mpg when ridden aggressive but responsible. Great beginner bike, great second bike, great only bike. I have this bike tuned to smooth out to around 70-75mph on the highway but just a twitch of the wrist and she will climb right up to 90+ if you want (even 2 up!). If you normally cruise at 90 and above (good luck with that) this is not your bike. Otherwise, this is a great deal and will put a big smile on your face. Stock bike has around 40hp, and this one has 60+. Mods will not hurt engine life. Simple and easy to work on for the at home mechanic. So why am I selling? I am a sport bike guy. I got this as a second bike so my wife could ride with me. She absolutely loved it! We just found out we have our first child on the way and now its time to change things around so this is for sale. New fork seals, new clutch spring and friction plates, all fluids and filters changed, new packing seals on front and rear brake calipers, new fuel lines, cleaned fuel components, new spark plugs. Four new OEM replacement turn signals. All work was done within last few months. I intended to keep this bike so I went through everything, it is in perfect order. All the chrome was polished, no rust. Stock exhaust, seats, and backrest. No tears, no dents, and only a small scratch on bottom corner of right saddlebag. Tires are in great shape. The odometer works perfectly, but may not reflect accurate mileage. It currently reads 24xx miles. I can only assume the previous owner unplugged it. Based on the brake and clutch wear, my best guess is no more than 25,000 - 30,000 miles if that, which is nothing for a Nomad. The bike sat in storage most of its life. I purchased it in December 2012 knowing that the engine had not run since 2006. I parked it in my garage for another year. One year later I finally moved it unto the motorcycle lift and started working on it. It fired right up for the 1st time in 8 years after, > cleaning out and sealing the fuel tank, > replacing the fuel lines, > filters, > pump, > injectors, > engine oil, > all air & oil filters > and the spark plugs. Then I proceeded to restore and upgrade as the weeks and months went by, like > replaced upper & lower forks with V1100 Jackal, > replaced shocks with adjustable 1500 Kawasaki Nomad, > replaced front blinkers with 1500 Kawasaki Nomad, > replaced rear directional with 750 Kawasaki Vulcan, > replaced mirrors with 750 Kawasaki Vulcan, > factory exhaust with flow through glass packs, > custom paint here and there like on the valve covers, etc. Also during that time my health changed to where I cannot ride a motorcycle any longer. So reluctantly I am looking for a new owner for the Bassa. Hopefully someone who knows what a great motorcycle that those Italians at the Moto Guzzi plant know how to manufacture! The few times I did get to drive it, people would go out of their way to tell me what a very nice motorcycle that I had because it looks aharp and its not just another Harley or Honda! It's truly different! Everything works as it should but there are several things still lacking that I just cannot get around to finish on the bike: > The fuel tank needs finishing touches of paint up underneth at the edges - nothing major. > It needs a new rectifier, which is mounted onto the frame and easy to get to - eBay has them for $80. > I have a few spokes I ordered for the wheels where they broke in a couple of places (wheels do not have to be removed to install the spokes). > The clutch slips under very hard acceleration, but is fine otherwise. But that would need to be fixed before any serious riding. > Has a very small oil leak noticable after a ride - not enough to worry about damaging the engine, but annoying because it leaves a small oil spot where it is parked. Sorta lost track of the time and money which I have put into it, but I am guestimating around $6,500. With its first exposure to the public, I am asking only $3,500. This bike feels good, runs real smooth and pulls strong. There are no abnormal sounds or vibrations, it starts right up, accelerates, shifts, stops and handles as it should. I have looked it over and given it a good inspection with everything checking out great, it’s obvious that this bike has been easily ridden and well maintained. The service is up to date, the oil and filter were changed and all fluids checked, it’s ready to ride. These photos were taken moments before this listing was created. Cosmetic Comments Please look real close at the up-to-the-minute photos as they show this bike really well. Higher res photos can be seen on my site. The Silver and Blue paint is deep, rich, clean and shiny with no fading or swirl marks, it really looks nice. The chrome is in great condition with no pitting or flaking. The frame components look real nice and are not faded or dull. Although a fantastic looking bike, especially for the year, it does have some signs of normal use. As shown in the photos there is a small dent in front left of the fuel tank. This was caused from the handle grip of a burgman scooter falling over against it in the garage. This bike has NOT been down and the paint in not compromised. Overall this is a real good looking bike that doesn’t show many miles. I ship many motorcycles please let me ship yours to you! I can ship most bikes uncrated in the lower 48 states for approximately $650.00, bikes going too far away rural or residential locations may cost more.
