Despite its age I have found myself uncovering this beautiful 1999 FXD Super Glide more times than I care to count just to gaze at the chrome and condition of a bike this age. The first person to see this bike in person WILL buy it, there is absolutely no doubt in my mind. I rarely even consider purchasing bikes older than 2002, but this one just simply couldnt be passed up. There is only one place you can find a BIG TWIN under 5,000 miles, in excellent condition and under $6,000.00. Harleys Direct for sure!! I purchased this great looking ride from the original owner in Kennett Square, PA where a need for some quick funds forced its sale. The bike was originally sold new at Harley Davidson of Danbury in Danbury, CT. Shortly after purchasing the bike he moved to the area and the bike was not ridden due to family and work committments. After a few years of minimal riding he decided to sell the bike and I picked it up a few days ago. When you get right down to it, riding a Harley is all about attitude and this well preserved 1999 FXD Dyna Super Glide is an exceptional bike with unbelievably low miles and is sure to please either the collector ot the weekend rider looking for a great bike at a great value. In addition to the super low miles this one has all the classic styling and comfort a seasoned rider could ever want. This one offers the look and feel that real attitude deserves. This very clean Dyna is in superb condition as you would expect from one with only 4,459 miles. This show stopper has no other visible dents, dings or damage that I noticed while giving it my personal inspection and detail. Overall the bike is in excellent condition and all components work as they should. All the chrome and body parts are in well above average condition. The front and rear tires are both 80% or better. The leather seat is like new. The bike has had wonderful care with excellent chrome from top to bottom and minimal oxidation on the aluminum parts front to back. 1999 was the first year for Harleys Twin Cam engine, an 88-cubic-inch (1450cc), ohv, 45-degree V-Twin that made 60.3 hp at 3400 rpm on the CW dyno, with 73.0 ft.-lb. of torque at 3600. That was good for 13.67 seconds and 95.64 mph in the quarter-mile and a top speed of 108 mph. The FXD broke new ground for The Harley Davidson Motor Company by providing the traditional H-D Big Twin cruiser style, sound and sensory experience in a chassis that handled well enough to be true fun on the backroads. Longer, higher-quality suspension than on the other Dynas blessed the Sport with more cornering clearance and better chassis control, and dual-disc front brakes provided capable stopping power. This incredible looking 1999 FLHRCI Road King Classic sporting ONLY 6,626 miles! That's not a missprint, ONLY 6,626 miles on this beauty. In the ever classic Vivid Black it was purchased from a gentleman about 55 miles from me just outside King of Prussia, PA when his wife came down with some debilitating physical issues and his full attention and efforts were needed for her well being. Sold new at Electric City Harley Davidson this beautiful "Like New" machine has had very impressive care. It comes with the original manuals and is very clean and has been well cared for by the previous owner. I personally inspected and detailed the bike and saw nothing to raise any concern. However this bike is really in amazing condition for its age, the paint and chrome look excellent, the only signs of wear are the saddle bag belts and the windshield bag is warped. The exhaust is a set Vance & Hines long shots and the carb has a high flow air cleaner and has been jetted to match, they sound great. The saddle bags are in amazing condition and have kept their shape after all these years. The floor boards have been upgraded to the horizontal boards, and comes with a matching brake pedal as well. The switch housings are chrome and it has a fresh pair of iso grips with a palm pad. The motor runs good and strong, the clutch is strong, the transmission shifts smooth. The gas caps are the live to ride caps that match the inspection cover and the derby cover. The Sinister blue factory paint looks excellent and still has a deep shine. The previous owner says he just had it serviced, we pulled the dipstick and the oil looks clean.
