Up for auction is a Vintage 1971 Yamaha DT1 250 cc Two Stroke Dirt Bike Enduro. The person I bought this from completely disassembled it and cleaned everything. Then went through it mechanically. He also painted many of the parts black (looks great and is done right but is not 100 % professional show quality). I ran a drove the bike very little and it ran great and shifted trough the gears fine and then stored it over the winter. I couldn't get it running this spring though. It backfires and sputters (a simple carb clean, fresh battery, new spark plug and fresh fuel did not do the trick). It comes with a free and clear title in my name. Selling my 78 DT250. It's a great running bike. Starts first kick 98% of the time, warm or cold. The tires have maybe 100 miles on them, new rings, great compression, UNI air filter, new brake and clutch cables, new battery and fork seals, spark arrestor. It's in great mechanical condition and the suspension feels real good. The bike sits tall and it gives it a good feel, like easily controllable, confident feeling. The headlight has been updated to one with an easily replaceable bulb. Everything works at the moment. The gas tank had been lined in the recent past. I tried to show the worst of the paint flaws in the pictures, but there are some less noticeable ones here and there that are not to bad. Just an all around nice vintage rider with a clear title. 1stkickcycles2000 store Up for bid is an original 1970 Yamaha DT1 250 motorcycle. One owner bike. 2,568 miles. Clear title. Carburetor was cleaned. New battery. Fuel line. Bike does run and goes through the gears. The brakes work as they should. Cannot get the headlight or horn to work. Inside of gas tank has some light rust. The back of the air box has hardened over the years and will not stay on the back of the carb. Chrome has some pitting/ rust in spots. Seat has no rips. The handlebar brace has a dent in the middle. Fenders and tank have some dings and dents. Overall would make a good driver or mild restore. Clear title. Matching Numbers bike. Sold as is. Shipping is buyers responsibility. Classic 81 Yamaha DT175 Enduro This is a Street legal 2 stroke Dual purpose bike The bike is in Excellent condition and runs great When I purchased this bike in 2011 it had not run since 1991. I completely dissembled the engine and reassembled it to make sure everything was good. I am a professional motorcycle builder so I decided to modify the engine to look completely stock but run like a hotrod. The bike stock is about 15HP this one is more like 20HP. Rev's out higher and quicker and pulls strong throughout the entire RPM range.
