For sale is a gently-used 2003 Yamaha YZ 250 F four-stroke dirt bike - I purchased this used in the spring of 2005 with approx. 25 hours on it & in the past decade have literally ridden it a handful of times for a total of 10-15 hours; stored in a garage or shed otherwise. I will provide a printed and signed bill of sale with the VIN number on it.This bike was completely stripped down to the frame and everything was rebuilt/restored. No expense was spared. Complete top & bottom end rebuild, crank was balanced, cylinder bored to the 1st oversize, Wiseco piston & rings installed. The cylinder head was treated to the "Eric Gorr mod" (the squish band angle was corrected, the head was decked, and a manual decompression valve was machined in to the head for easy starting. It also has a DG pipe and silencer, Boyesen reeds, IMS shifter, new clutch, etc etc. The bike has more than enough power for even the most experienced rider. Tons of compression and runs best on VP110 racing fuel and Bel-Ray H1-R synthetic premix at 40:1. The shock and forks were also rebuilt and set up for a 200-220 lb rider. The bike is so smooth through even the roughest terrain. Pro Taper bars, Acerbis hand guards, Scott grips, RK chain and JT sprockets, new grooved brake shoes front and rear, new decals added. The lights and odometer work, the tool bag has the full compliment of OEM tools. The bike has 8 hours of total run time on it. About 1 hour of break in time and approximately 7 hours of ride time. This is a very rare bike and it's ready to ride. Needs absolutely nothing. $2400 is the asking price. Every bike I had as a kid would get stripped(fenders, lights,etc), spray painted(this was for speed!) and jumped till the bike split in half or the motor blew up..... Imagine it is 1971 Christmas day and you walk into the living room and see this! It would be the gift you would never forget!! When you put this in the sun and look at it...you go blind it is sooo shiney!. Bike had a cosmetic make over many years ago. Lots of new NOS parts were used. I sold this bike years ago to a collector....he recently ran into financial trouble and asked if I would buy it back. He never started the bike and it just sat in his collection for many years. I put fuel in the carb through my IV bottle and it started FIRST kick! I re-cleaned the Carb in case the new owner does not want to ride it. Gold chain...Gotta have the bling Factor!!
