Selling my 1990 Yamaha Radian YX600 with 34,241 miles on it. It is a great starting bike that can grow with you. Great to tinker with and work on.It is a salvage title, but runs fantastic. Engine is in perfect shape. Battery, tires, chain and spark plugs were replaced last year. Just had an oil change and valve adjustments done last month. Suspension was also upgraded last year with Progressive Suspension 12 Series adjustable shocks. Also includes original suspension and alternate race handle bars. The bike has some minor blemishes which include minor scratches and two small dents on the tank, minor tearing in the seat, as well as slightly bent levers (one was already bent when I purchased the bike, the other was from a drop).I have the title in hand. The registration is good until August. Asking $1,500. Will take cash only.

For sale is a 1981 Yamaha XS650. This bike has tons of upgrades and new parts. I have worked on this bike for the past few years and have put a lot of time and thought into this bike. Wheels/Tires/Brakes Rims are vintage high shoulder aluminum laced with new stainless spokes. Rims, hubs, and brake drum all polished to mirror finish by local polishing shop. Both hubs were completely rebuilt with new bearings and seals. The front speedometer pickup has been removed and replaced with a Hugh's Handbuild speedo eliminator. Front caliper, master cylinder and stainless brake lines are all new in the front from MikesXs. The rear brake hub has been polished to a mirror finish. Rear brake shoes, return springs and brake linkage are all new. Tires are new Kenda 761 dual sport and make this bike look mean! Chassis/suspension Front forks were completely rebuild with new seals, rings and retainers. The fork springs are new upgraded progressive springs. Front fork lowers were shaved and polished by Hugh's Handbuilt. Fork downtubes are also new. Tapered neck bearings and bronze swing arm bushings were added for better control. Rear swing arm is a Yamaha Radian swing arm that has been blasted and painted. Rear shocks are 14" and really set the stance of this bike. Frame has been shaved of all un-necessary tabs and posts for a clean look. Frame was sandblasted and painted black. Handlebars, grips, bar mounts are all new. Pegs were sandblasted and new rubbers installed. Most of the misc. hardware is all new. Any reused body parts were sand blasted and painted. Carb/motor Carbs are new Mikuni 34mm purchased and tuned from 650central. A new Magura throttle and cable was also installed. Carbs have red uni filters and I will include aluminum velocity stacks. Motor is powered by a Boyer Branderson ignition. Bike has all new friction discs and drive plates, new clutch springs, has the upgraded clutch spring screw kit. I will also include the clutch tool I purchased for this job. The clutch pushrod seal and drive shaft seals were replaced(Most common to leak). I also installed a new 1 pc clutch pushrod. Bike has a new stainless chain. Motor side covers were cleaned with a light polish. Exhaust is a 2 into 1 that goes under the bike. Exhaust sounds awesome! New exhaust gaskets were also installed. Motor was cleaned up and jugs were painted with black engine paint. Body Tank is original with new petcocks, new tank mounts and gas cap gaskets. Rear seat is fiberglass with new seat pad. Seat and tank were painted with a 2 stage silver with good clear. Rear tail light is triggered with the front caliper. Front headlight is new square light with new aluminum Cafe mounts purchased from MikesXS. I recently finished tuning this bike and runs great. The pictures were taken before the front brake line was installed. Most parts were purchased from Mikesxs or 650 central. I also want to plug Hugh's Handbuild for their excellent shave/polish job on the front forks. Rims were polished by a local shop. I have spent a lot of time on this bike and want someone to enjoy it. I started this project with the intent to ride the dragon at deals gap.(So I spared no expense for performance and style). I am firm on the price and feel it is a fair price for all that you are getting. Feel free to ask any questions and thanks for looking.
