I bought this bike in 2005 as a dressed 2000 Yamaha Road Star 1600 cruiser. I bought the bike with 5449 miles and it now has 6979 miles. I put 1530 miles on it in 10 years!! I did the custom work, bought most of the parts from Britts Metric customs in Wilmington-parts for the swing arm kit/tires was well over $7,000 alone without the custom paint and other add ons. I only used it for play taking it to local bike shows-winning many trophies including Best Chopper at "Funkmaster Flex Custom Car/Bike Show" in Myrtle Beach. It has been featured in Biker 2000, V-Twin and Road Bike magazines. Around 2009 the bike shows died down and I only took it out a few times a year. It has been sitting the past couple years in my garage. It needs to be riden! As you can see the bike has a fat 250 rear tire, custom paint, custom seat and many extras.Right now, the bike has the original floor boards on it-which I bought on ebay costing about $300. I put them back on the bike because I am short and had plans on riding it. But as you see, that never happened thats why I'm selling it. The custom forward controls do come with it also. The bike has been sitting the past couple years. I just put a new battery in it and got it running end of last year. Havent started it since. So lets say its "as is", not running. Some of the chrome is now flaking. The bike needs to be checked out, carb cleaned and tune up. This is a great bike, I just dont have time for it- need space in my garage. Looking for a good home for it.

Selling my 2002 Yamaha Road Star with 50,839miles, not set in stone as I may still get in a run before she sells. Runs and rides great! I am the 2nd owner, had approximately 8000miles on her when I purchased about 4 years ago. Since then my wife and I have ridden to 45 states and never once has she let us down. All of the miles are highway miles, as I have another bike for commuting and day trips. This is a road warrior not a trailer queen, so the paint on the headlight ring, crash bars and floor boards, which I had painted black, have chipping. The rear fender has paint chipping and a small crack, please see pics, from a soccer mom bumping me at a red light, hence the led taillights. She has never been down though, and the fender was such that I was able to put it back in shape and use the money from her insurance company to see Montana. Carb was rebuilt last year and the tires are good for some more miles. Clean clear Tennessee Title.
