Offered here is a beautiful 1978 TT500. Vin Number is 1T1000127This bike comes with clear title. Estimated mileage is 2200, not 22000. This bike went through a professional frame off restoration. Headlight was added for night riding. Tank is perfect. Fenders and pipe are after market. Please look at pics closely, and this bike runs as good as it looks. Motor is clean, doesn't smoke or leak. Has all the vintage stickers still on it from back in the day and appears to have been a Works Performance (Canoga Park CA) sponsored race bike. Original paint on orig. aluminum tank is very nice. This bike has been extensively modified with: re-valved 38mm YZ forks and dual leading shoe front brake, lightweight YZ wheels, Works Performance finned shocks, Pro-Fab aluminum swingarm, Pro-Tec aluminum chain tensioner, custom open megaphone exhaust pipe is just beautiful, K&N filter, K&N chromoly bars, ultra rare vintage E-Line Magnum flat slide carb, vintage DeCoster grips, Preston Petty plastic, YZ controls, etc. This engine is a heavily modified factory PRO-TEC big bore kitted motor with high lift cams, valve mods & porting, ignition timing, manually activated compression release, etc. I have all the engine specs available to anyone who is seriously interested. This bike came out of SoCal and looks suspiciously similar to the bike Rex Staten rode back in the day when he was competing on 4 stroke TT's. Fully restored with rebuilt and restored suspension (shocks & forks completely rebuilt & restored), new tubes, newer tires, new chain, original controls, etc. TITLED with all original books, and extensive motor mods described. Excellent compression and spark. Starts easily and runs strong.
