I acquired this bike from a one owner family that purchased the bike new from Larson Cycle in Cambridge Mn. The bike was completely restored from the the frame up about 5 years ago and basically not used. When I got it the carb was seized from sitting. I had my mechanic completely disassemble it, fully clean it and re install it, change the crank case oil etc and she fired on the first kick. The engine was also completely rebuilt from top to bottom and looking in the jug through the manifold the valve looked new. It sounds, runs, and idles awesome. I don't think this bike has had a full tank of fuel run through it since it's restoration. You can see by the pictures the entire bike is extremely clean. I did find a couple minor flaws. The tank on the top front by oil filler, and behind where the seat attaches (unseen with seat on) does have some discoloration, it very well could be buffed but I an not going to attempt it. There are a couple of very minor nicks in the frame that could easily be touched up to appear new. The right side cover has a very small repair by the kick starter. The tank and side covers are original, tank has been painted with new decals....no dents or scratches. The decals look nice but does have a minor ridge if you look closely. The front and rear fenders are aftermarket. There is no grease, grime, rust etc! It has brand new Chen Shing tires with the nubs still on them, new chain and sprockets. Cables and grips are new. Seat is recovered with no tears, rips, or unsightly blems. Bars are painted a tasteful red. This bike has an aftermarket silencer that sounds great. Small dent in header pipe coming off the front of the cylinder. I wanted to mention the flaws in all fairness to buyers that cannot see the bike in person. It starts right up and runs awesome. This is a very collectible motorcycle that will certainly appreciate. Please don't hesitate to contact me with any questions. The engine and frame numbers match!
