This auction is for my 2003 Vmax . It’s got just over 8,800 miles and runs great. I bought it with 5,200 miles on it and haven’t ridden it much due to health issues. In the past 1,500 miles I replaced the tires, changed the fluids and put in new front brake pads. The turn signals were swapped out to allow the use of saddlebags (included) I installed a manual fan switch just in front of the ignition key – which really helps keep the bike running cool in the Summer. I also replaced the battery a two summer sago. The previous owner used to park it outside, and there is some oxidation/pitting on the wheels, scoops, top of the engine casing and on the reservoir covers. (See my photos) The paint is great and except for the comfort accessories below, it is mechanically stock and runs very strong. With my options, the bike is set up as a mini-tourer, so just gas it and go! Included: -Corbin Seat -Yamaha backrest w/Willie & Max tailbag -Willie & Max saddlebags (shown in older picture - I don't use them now) -Extended, tinted Erickson Windscreen -Handlebar riser -Engine guards with highway pegs/pads -Taller highway mirrors (from Morley’s Muscle) -Heavy duty outdoor Harley Davidson cover -Handlebar mounted clock -Battery leads for charger installed -Clymer Repair Manual -Yamaha owner’s manual Original parts included: -Stock seat -Stock Mirrors -Stock turn signals -A SPARE SET of OEM exhaust pipes - with only 200 miles on them (were a friend's) This is a great bike with lots of good spare parts. Note: A $500 deposit due immediately with BUY IT NOW with balance due IN CASH on pick-up. ***** LOCAL PICK-UP ONLY - I WILL NOT SHIP. **** Bike is located in Northern NJ/NYC area and delivery may possibly be arranged within a 50 mile radius. Check my feedback and bid with confidence. Thanks for looking.

1994 Yamaha V-Max, with EZS Sidecar. Very fun, practical, and fast. One of the few sidecar rigs that you can burn rubber and do 100 MPH on if you want to. Or, just ride around town, haul your groceries, take a trip with the family. The previous owner road this rig from Illinois to Alaska with his two sons in the car and he and the wife on the bike. Sidecar seat is about 30 inches wide so can easily accommodate two children or two small adults. Huge trunk on the car. The interior of the trunk measures about 27” X 24” and is about 22 inches deep. Trailer hitch on the sidecar and is already wired to pull a trailer if you need more space. Two auxiliary gas tanks under the body of the car hold a total of 11 gallons. With the 4 gallon tank on the bike you have a total of 15 gallons of fuel. A valve on the fuel lines let you select fuel from the bike or fuel from the car aux tanks. A visual fuel gage on the car tanks let you know when you’re getting low on gas. Brand new windshield (still with protective wrap on it) for the car included. All lights, horn, turn signals function, except one marker light on the car, The bike is set up for a serious sidecar tug. Leading link custom front end from England. Front wheel is a modified Saab car wheel. Automotive tires on the front and back wheels and on the car wheel. Billet-6 (6 piston) calipers on the front and rear bike brakes. Brembo brake on the car. Braided steel brake lines all around. 12 volt Powerlet style power outlet on the bike. Two seats for the bike. The original, stock seat and also a custom touring seat with back rest made by Corbin Seats. Full Hannigan fairing with lowers and storage on each side of the upper section. This is one of the last fairings that Dave Hannigan made before he sold that portion of his business to concentrate on making just sidecars and trikes. Carbs have been fully disassembled and cleanedNew carb intake tubes New spark plugs Bike brake calipers just rebuilt with new pistons, seals, and brake pads New battery Fresh engine oil, final drive oil, brake fluid, and coolant change New final drive about 6,000 miles ago New clutch about 10,000 miles ago Approximately 76,000 miles on the bike. With the modified car wheel on the front the speedometer/odometer runs about 15% fast so odometer mileage is not exact.Issues: Car seat in good condition, but overall interior needs updated. Canvas top for car is still usable, but showing some wear Touring seat cover showing wear on the left side only from rider and passenger getting on and off on that side only. Carbs still need some sorting out. I disassembled and cleaned them, but I’m not a good tuner. Sidecar brake currently inoperable, but not really needed with 3 great disc brakes on the bike. Normal cylinder compression for a V-Max is 199 psi with 170 psi a minimum. A recent check on this bike showed:Cylinder 1 - 187 psiCylinder 2 – 157 psi Cylinder 3 – 185 psi Cylinder 4 – 162 psi When I put a small amount of motor oil in the plug hole of number 2 and 4 the compression reading went up to 175 and 195 respectively. Other than that, this is a great sidecar rig with a lot of potential. I hate to see it go, but I’ve got too many bikes now and have already purchased my next sidecar rig to play with.I will be glad to help you arrange shipping to anywhere in the world, as long as you pay all shipping and preparation costs. Please feel free to call/text Floyd at 636-795-9232

The Yamaha V-Max...   a true legend, and with good reason.  These bikes are *still* one of the fastest things on the road, even 30 years after they were originally introduced!  This particular bike is in very good condition with some tasteful upgrades to enhance its performance, comfort, and looks.  Here is a mostly-complete list, although I'm sure I'm missing a few things: Polished R1 USD front forks R1 front brake calipers and master cylinder Braking STX series front rotors Braided stainless lines throughout Stage 7 carb kit (V-boost elimination, awesome lope to the idle and responsive power) 4-1 exhaust (sounds great, and not obnoxiously loud) Custom 17" front and 18" rear wheels (rear is 5 1/2" wide!) 120/70zr17 front tire - new 180/55zr18 rear tire - new Progressive rear shocks Sportmax frame brace (beautiful professional welds) Sportmax seat Marhsall oil pressure gauge Drag bars CRG mirror LED taillight (very bright, easily seen) Hella "Black Magic" headlight Aluminum footpegs This bike is an absolute blast to ride. It is very aggressive and displays a lot of "attitude". Runs great, rides great, shifts properly (no 2nd gear issues), sounds incredible, and of course pretty darn quick. Both tires are new, as is the battery.  There is a lot of money invested in this bike! For example, the front brake rotors are $500 all by themselves... rear wheel was $1200... front wheel $800... there's half my asking price in just 3 parts. Things you should know:  There is no speedometer or odometer, so the bike will be sold as true miles unknown (can use your GPS as a speedo if you like).  The Hella headlamp is a single filament bulb - there is just one brightness setting, not a separate high and low beam.  There are no turn signals.  The airbox cover is bare metal, you might want to polish it and then clearcoat.  Speaking of polishing, you may choose to do some cleaning or polishing here and there.  These pictures are current and accurate - it's a great looking bike, just not necessarily ready for a concours show. If you have any questions, please ask them prior to placing your bid. If you are local, or know someone who is, please consider coming to see the bike in person. Different things are important to different people, and while I have tried to describe all important aspects of the motorcycle, it's impossible to cover every last detail. I reserve the right to end the listing early for any reason. Thanks for looking! Terms of Sale  Buyer will be responsible for either having the bike shipped, or picking it up in person. I will sell to US buyers only! I expect a $500 deposit via Paypal within 24 hours. Payment in full is due within 5 days, no exceptions. I will accept cash or cashier's check for balance of payment. If picking up the motorcycle in person within the 5 days, I will require the balance due in cash at that time. Please only bid if you are willing to honor it! I know this doesn't need to be explained to most of you, but with all the new users something has to be said. Ebay is not a game, it costs money to list things here, please don't waste my time and money. Thank you!

Up for sale is a sharp-looking classic 1988 Yamaha V-Max muscle bike. The bike itself is in good original condition and has just 19,650 original miles (less than 730 miles per year). I picked this up in non-running condition as a winter project. Around $1500 worth of work was done to the bike over the past two months: --Major Carburetor Overhaul (completely taken apart, cleaned, new gaskets and O-rings) --Master Clutch Cylinder Rebuilt (new rebuild kit installed) --Slave Cylinder Rebuilt (new rebuild kit installed) --Clutch Flushed with New Fluid --Complete Radiator Flush and Fill --New Battery --New OEM Fuel Filter --New Oil and Filter The bike is now ready to ride! Bike starts right up, idles fine, and runs and sounds great! The original exhaust sounds awesome! The engine is a strong and beefy 1200cc engine. Bike is in great condition cosmetically for being 27 years old. Metal is shiny, plastic is in good shape. The bike has the normal wear-and-tear. Overall, I would rate it a 7 or 8 out of 10. All electricals (turn signals, headlight, brakes, horn) work. This bike has the nice K&N air filter installed (around $65). The rear tire is like-new and oversized for a more beefy look. Excellent tread! See pics. The popular V-Boost works! This is a VMax function that opens up butterfly valves to give you an extra boost of power. Stock V-Boost opens at 6000 RPM's. This bike has been updated to give you that extra power at 3000 RPM's instead of 6000! This is a very, very fast bike. This bike is a nice bike that turns heads. It's seriously not for the faint of heart. If you are a novice rider, I honestly would not recommend this bike. Yamaha made an awesome bike, and the V-Max remained virtually unchanged from 1985-2009 because it was so popular and dependable...and fast! You are looking at an iconic motorcycle here. Clubs exist simply for V-Max riders!!! Comes with the sissy bar as shown. Also included is a shop manual. I want you to know exactly what you are bidding on, so you have no surprises. The worst parts of the bike as I know them: --The front plastic driver's seat clip (on the bottom of the seat that slides into a little slot) is broken. The seat still locks into place with the rear locks, so the seat isn't going anywhere, but the front clip is broken. --Seat has some small tears on top of seat. They aren't terrible but definitely noticeable. --Old gunky gas tank was replaced with tank from another V-max. This "new" tank was previously coated on the inside, but that flaked off. Inside of tank was cleaned with muriatic acid, shaken with screws and bolts to remove pieces, and cleaned. Bike runs great, new fuel filter was installed, but tank is not original to bike (it had green crud). --Carburetors are not professionally vacuum-synched. The bike idles fine and runs great, but if you are going to race OR want tip-top performance, you might squeeze another 10% of performance out of the bike with a synchronization. The bike was synched via the old-school method of listening, revving, adjusting, and riding. --Clutch handle is slightly bent. Works fine, but you can tell it's different than the right-side brake handle in terms of feel/location. --Front fork seals need replaced. They have that classic "oil creeping up the fork" look. --Chrome has surface rust in places such as the mufflers. They shine nice, but they are not perfect. Right-side muffler also looks like it has some road rash in very back. Muffler is very minorly bent in and scratched. It's hard to see from afar, but if you get up under the bike, you can see it. --Highway foot pegs appear to be missing spacers and bolt to frame on lower half of pegs. They are bolted to the frame on top of the pegs, but it looks like both sides need another bolt to the frame (there is a receiving thread in the frame). These are really not big issues, but I have bought vehicles before on eBay, so I know the feeling of trying to wonder what you are going to get, and again, I want NO surprises!!! It's a sharp bike, but it's not showroom condition. It looks great, but it's 27 years old. Please look at the pictures, ask questions, or come and check it out! I only took this bike as a project for the winter. It had sat for numerous years without running. I honestly have less than 10 miles on the bike around my neighborhood, but it runs and shifts through all gears fine. This bike just needs to be ridden!!! Because I don't have many miles on the bike, understand that some other unknown issues may come up. I don't write that to scare you or lose a buyer...I just like honesty!!! Motorcycle is sold as-is. I encourage any and all questions!!! This bike is located in Springfield, Illinois, 62703. Buyer must pick up. I have ramps and can help load if necessary. Clear Illinois title.

Offered is a RED 2010 Yamaha VMAX 1700. The bike has only 7180 miles and is immaculate. There are no cosmetic or mechanical flaws that I know of to disclose. No dings, no scratches, no noises, no leaks. Price is below KBB retail ($13,600) with loads of extras. This bike starts easy and runs strong. I have had no mechanical issues for the 2+ years of my ownership (bike was under warranty when I purchased it used from the Yamaha dealer in Richmond KY). Tires are in excellent shape with approximately 1500 mi wear. Yamaha extras: w Short windscreen (installed, see pics). w Low profile backrest (installed, see pics). w Saddle bags with mounting hardware (not installed, see pic). Aftermarket extras: w Vance and Hines CS One dual black exhaust (see pics). w Power Commander V (installed only to compensate for pipes). w Compact rear license plate/turn signal assembly (see pics). w Bar end rear view mirror (see pics). w Tie-down anchors on sides of passenger seat (see pics). w Black shorty clutch and brake levers (see pics). w Grip cushions. Note: There have been no modifications made to this bike that would preclude returning it to its original state. All displaced OEM hardware is included with the exception of the mirrors. This includes: Exhaust, levers, tail piece and rear turn signals. If you are unfamiliar with a VMax, I would encourage you to do some research on them. There’s a good reason that these “original muscle bikes” have had such a huge following for such a long time. I have owned both 1200 and 1700 versions of the Vmax. To me, the 1700 has the same addictive “raw power” feel as the 1200 but delivers so much more… just plain fun. I am selling bike since I am recently retired and now concentrating my riding to longer distance. Need to reduce numbers since I own 4 bikes at this time. I will be selling a 2007 Triumph Tiger 1050 as well. I have placed a make offer option on listing, but please refrain from low-ball offers. Feel free to message me with any questions you may have with the listing. I will respond as quickly as possible. TERMS: w This vehicle is being sold "as is". I have made every effort to accurately and fairly describe this vehicle. w Winning bidder must submit a $500.00 deposit via PayPal within 48 hours of the auction ending, unless other arrangements are agreed to. w Buyer is responsible for transportation. Arrangements must be made for payment and transportation within 7 days after listing ends. I am willing to transport bike for delivery, or meet, within 250mi of Ashland, KY. w Full payment is required upon delivery. Accepted payment is either cash in person, or a cashier’s check certified from a US bank.
