I am selling my 2005 Yamaha V-Star XVS 650. It is black with chrome, the transmission is 5 speed manual, the engine is 650 cubic centimeters, the gas tank is 4.2 gallons and the reserve is 0.8 gallons. The title is a clean blue Texas title that's in my name, and it has 7,165 miles. All the electronics function perfectly and the motorcycle passed inspection and registration. The motorcycle runs great and the tires are in good shape. Like all motorcycles, you must ride it with the choke out until it has warmed up. It has a few scratches here and there but no major ones and no dents at all. There is one small rip on the back passenger seat but as you can see by the pictures the overall condition of the motorcycle is excellent. I bought it in March, 2015 from a Winter Texan who kept it in his garage; I have also kept it in mine and covered. I bought this motorcycle to learn how to ride again and I don't ride recklessly so it has been well taken care of. The only reason I am selling this motorcycle is because I am ready for something bigger. The motorcycle comes with the cover for it, a medium sized DOT approved helmet, a trickle charger with the connecting piece already attached to the battery, and the side chrome bars that hold up the saddle bags (saddle bags not included). It has the toolkit and I was able to find a PDF of the owner’s manual that I can e-mail to whomever buys it. I also have a windshield and windshield frame for it that I am including but it’s not in the great shape so I didn’t take any pics of it. I put full coverage on the bike and it was appraised at $4,500. That is what I am selling it for but I will entertain any REASONABLE offers. I am not interested in trades and in no rush to sell the motorcycle, so no low ballers. No joy rides either, this motorcycle has never been down and isn’t going to be down. If you want to see how it runs, I can take you on the back. If you absolutely have to ride it alone, then do so knowing that if you drop it, you have bought it for $4,500. 2000 YAMAHA V-STAR 650 CUSTOM This 650 is a great first bike or commuter bike. It is in very good overall condition. The color is gloss black and has only 9K miles. The previous owner added a couple upgrades. It has a Mustang seat and back rest with luggage rack. The bike has been down on the right side. The only major damage I can find is to the exhaust. Both mufflers are dented and scratched. This damage is only cosmetic and the exhaust functions properly. The gas tank does have a small ding on the top which is hardly noticeable and a couple very small scratches on the right side again hardly noticeable. They didn't even show up in pictures. The chrome and paint shines and has no rust or other blemishes. The bike has been safety inspected. The tires are in very good shape with about 75% tread left. The brakes are also in good shape with about 75% pad life left. All the lights, horn and gauges work 100%. 1999 YAMAHA V-STAR 650 CUSTOM This recent trade-in has very low miles (9K) for the year and is in excellent condition. The model is a 650 V-Star and has a carburetor. The paint and chrome are both in very good condition with no major dings, scratches or rust. It shines and shows very well. It has forward controls and a windscreen. The previous owner did re-upholster the seat with fake alligator vinyl. The bike has been safety inspected. The tires are in very good shape with about 65% tread life left. The brakes have about 50% pad life. All the lights, gauges and horn work 100%. The bike has been on a reliability run and the motor, clutch and transmission all work and sound as they should. 2006 Yamaha Vstar 650 Custom! You are buying a used 2006 Yamaha Vstar 650 Custom. Bike comes with a clean Arizona title.Motorcycle is in great running shape. Fork seals, air filter, oil, rear diff oil, front brake oil all have been replaced. Carbs were recently cleaned as well. Bike could use a small tune up but runs great as it sits.The bike has normal wear from use. Currently it has 25,036 miles on it (Bike will still be ridden a little so will change). Tires will need to be replaced. There is some tread left but the tires are dry rotted. Bought new 6/2014 - Paid $6,700.00. Selling because I bought a new Harley. Currently 4300 miles but still riding once a week or so. Exhaust and jetting has not been fooled with. Has never been dropped, bumped or damaged in any way. This bike is in PERFECT condition and -- STILL UNDER FACTORY WARRANTY until June 2015! 4000 mile service done. NEW Michelin Commander II tires included with purchase, (but the current tires still have about 1500-2000 miles in them). Kuryakyn Cig lighter plug-in to run handlebar mounted GPS. Currently has 4" control extensions installed but can change back to factory position in 15 minutes for you if desired. Title in hand - bring cash.
