This is the second Yamaha WR-250X I've owned. Despite the fact I swore I'd never sell it, now I must. I started my own business and money is tight...so the toys need to go. If you have been considering a supermotard this is the one to have! You can find DRZ's all day long but finding a WR is difficult because they only produced them for two years. If you do find a nice one you want to scoop it up, I drove from PA to Tenn for this one! Yes a WR-250X is bit more expensive than a DRZ400, but with good reason. The WR is lighter with an aluminum frame and is a fuel injected bike with a 6spd transmission. The DR has a steel frame, carbureted engine and 5 spd transmission. Honestly they 250 runs just as good as that 400. I'm 6' 240lbs and that little 250cc scoots around just fine. This is by far the most fun motorcycle I've ever owned and I've had over 20 in my life. I'm the 2nd adult owner and everything on it was done right. This bike is a great choice for a beginner and will make an experienced rider feel like a freaking hero! On the way home from picking it up in Memphis I took this thing to the Tail of the Dragon and had the most fun I've ever had on a motorcycle. You can throw this bike into corners like you wouldn't believe. It's also a lot of fun around town and I can run the highway with it. It gets awesome fuel mileage and I do have a larger tank on the bike so you don't need to fill up once a day like you do with the stock tank. I have a lot of extras for it such as a set of dirt tires, skid plates, extra set of Pro-Taper bars, repair manual, bar end mirrors, extra clutch. Below is what I've just done to it: FMF Q4 pipe, header and power commander. New chain and sprockets. Stainless steel brake lines all around. Pro-taper bars. Larger tank. Rack (looks corny but is convenient as heck) Everything was done at the dealership and no expense was spared.

I am the second owner of the bike, the guy I bought it from kept it in mint condition. This is the best looking/sounding/performing wr250x you will be able to find. This bike is perfect for anyone getting into the supermoto world, or for anyone wanting to learn how to ride. It is the smoothest and easiest bike to learn on. Very clean title, but it is in Kansas as I am just a student in Seward, NE and I brought my bike with me, but not to worry! I could easily go down and get it, not too far of a drive for a weekend. Dirt cheap insurance on this bike. Some pictures have OEM fender, some have the Acerbis one. RANDOM STUFF YOU GET: Two keys Tool bag that came with the bike specifically for this bike Dirt bike jack stand BILT all weather cover AFTERMARKET MODS INCLUDE: 1) Full Q4 FMF exhaust system with a FMF Megabomb header 2) New K&N air filter 3) I put a bag on the back held by velcro and straps. It is just a camera bag that is pretty handy and didnt cost anything since I had it lying around. I am the second owner of this meticulously cared for, garage kept, never stunted and highly sought after supermoto. Oil was changed every 2,000 miles, and I did a large servicing on 12/15/15, including: Fresh Mobil-1 synthetic oil and filter Bridgestone Battlax BT-003 tires (100 miles on them) Fresh brake pads Flushed brake fluid Brand new battery Mods done by prior owner and myself include: IMS 3.0 gallon tank ASV clutch and brake levers Stainless steel front brake line Axel sliders Grippy footpegs with built-in sliders Yamaha GTYR slip-on exhaust 7/8" Protaper SE bars Fender eliminator Short stalk LED front and rear turn signals Detachable storage bag Battery tender leads and I will include my battery tender Overall, this is a fantastic bike. With 6 gears, you can cruise at 75 MPH all day, but it is also a hoot to ride around in the city and commute on. Great for a beginner, and excellent for a skilled hooligan. The only issue I can think of is the bike was dropped in a parking lot by the prior owner, and the only noticeable outcome of that can be seen on the left side of the fairing, which I took a close photo of. I stopped riding the streets a while ago and only ride on the track. Not in an epic hurry to sell it, but would love to see it go to a new home. Cash on hand for a test ride.
