This is a 2004 Yamaha XV 250 Virago. The bike has 4,568 original miles and is extremely clean and well taken care of. I took it in on trade for my pottery equipment. The owner is a friend of mine and purchased the motorcycle in 2008. She rode very little but kept the bike in running condition. After she had a child, she no longer wanted to ride. The bike has a new battery and everything works. The motor and all chrome is very nice and the paint is very nice with a small blemish on the front fender. Tires, cables, seat, and everything else is in great condition with the exception of the right side cover, which is held in place with tape. The top tabs are broken but I didn't remove the tape to see if they are still there and could be glued. I have owned my own motorcycle business in the past and this bike would be an 8/9 out of 10 , in my opinion. It's a v-twin motorcycle and is a nice starter bike or a vacation bike to ride around the campgrounds or lake. This bike needs nothing and has a new battery in the last two months. I never cleaned it so the pictures are right out of the garage. The owner always put gas stabilizer in the tank each winter. I can help prepare the bike to be shipped and it can be stored up to 60 days but it must be paid in full within 3 days of the purchase. I will not be responsible for the bike after payment is received, but will store it in a locked building that is water tight. Please call 740-804-7043 if you have any further questions. For sale is my 2006 Yamaha Virago XV250 cruiser. Great starter bike, very light and easy to maneuver. No leaks or issues and it has never left me stranded! Selling it because I am upgrading to a bigger bike. I purchased the bike with 167 miles in early 2013. Bike had been sitting for a while so I immediately changed the oil and brake fluid, cleaned out the carburetor and had the brakes checked. Regularly lubricated chain with Chain Wax. Has a very small dent on the right side of the gas tank from a careless person's shopping cart. Recent work: • Upgraded chain to a DID 520 VX2 Professional motorcycle chain - it's one of the best long-life chains available and significantly reduces chain stretch compared to stock (original chain included) • Replaced front and rear sprockets (originals included) • Rebuilt carburetor (extra parts included) • Replaced carburetor drain plug • Last oil change done at ~1500 miles with conventional oil • Replaced battery What you get with the motorcycle: • Original chain and sprockets • Carburetor spare parts • Rain cover • Two keys I will also throw in a Large Fly Butane motorcycle jacket and KBC clear shield helmet for an extra $100.
