Bought this to learn to ride. Haven't even put on 500 miles from getting it from the dealer. Just installed a brand new Speedometer Cable 03/14/17. Great Starter bike for anyone. Bought June 12, 2015 from Steel Cycle. Your lucky day. I'm not trying to make any money off this bike, just want to get rid for what I owe. Make an offer I can't refuse and I may go less. Barely rode it. Was trailered to Sturgis once. Most of the miles were from previous ownership. I rode enough to know she runs great but not enough to tear up. Upgraded stock pipes to aftermarket straight pipes so she sounds like a beast. Runs great but needs a springtime tune up, new gas and spark plug. I pulled apart and cleaned the pins at the beginning of last summer. Ran great for a day then couldn't start. Needed to replace spark plug but never got around to it. That's why I'm going low on price. I don't want to do the tune up. No mechanical issues, new tires. Steel Cycle can probably provide history on bike since its in same condition from when I purchased. Buying something bigger with cruise control. Excellent Condition. Approx 7,000 miles. Rides very well, Only really used as a commuter bike. Pictures have after market mirrors installed, but the stock mirrors have been put back on. Very minor scuff on back fender that was there when I purchased it (hardly even noticable). Garaged stored. Bike started and ridden occasionally just to keep it running smoothly. Oil changed regularly but hardly ridden since I moved out of state and didn't bring the bike with. Only accepting Cash or a Cashiers Check. No other types of payment will be considered.Clean title in hand. $3,900 obo.

This FZ-09 engine combines advanced high tech components including YCC-T® and Yamaha D-Mode, with a crossplane concept crankshaft to deliver an exciting, torquey and quick-revving engine character. Crossplane Concept Crossplane Crankshaft Concept provides linear torque development in response to the rider s throttle input. The FZ-09 s in-line 3-cylinder engine provides linear torque development, even firing intervals for smooth torque characteristics and a good feeling of power in the low- to mid-rpm range. The CP3® engine is also light, slim and compact and offers performance that combines the best characteristics of both 2-cylinder and 4-cylinder engines. The rider can choose from three throttle valve control maps (Standard Mode, A Mode, and B Mode) for different performance characteristics at the push of a button. STD Mode is set to accommodate a wide range of riding conditions, for a linear torque feeling from low speeds all the way up to high speeds. A-Mode gives the rider a sharper throttle response in the low-to mid-rpm range than the STD Mode, while B-Mode lets the rider enjoy milder throttle response.
