For sale is my 1996 Yamaha Virago XV750. Excellent condition. Everything mechanically is in perfect running order. Has been running all summer no problems. Clean title, ready to hit the road.Has a few nice upgraded parts; Vance & Hines exhaust, Mustang seat, saddlebags, LED headlight, fairing, highway foot rests, Biltwell bars and grips, frosted signals, new battery. It also comes with a huge box of old parts if you're not into the shiny look; stock exhaust, stock bars, engine covers, side covers, OEM turn signals, orange and blue led headlight bulb.The first picture shows the bike with all the new upgrades, the second two are the bike with some stuff taken off. 1993 Yamaha Virago 750, 1993 XV750 for sale, 6k original miles, Excellent Condition I have for sale my 1993 Virago 750. It has 6013 original miles. The bike is in perfect working order and excellent condition. I am the 2nd owner of the bike. It had 1800 on it when I purchased it. I have added to the bike over the years for comfort and safety. The list of upgrades are as follows: 1100 backrest Mustang seat and matching backrest pad Cobra light bar Highway bars Matching alligator style footpegs with extensions for passenger Slant style saddlebags with correct supports Clear blinker lenses with amber bulbs for cleaner look Windshield I removed the Yamaha logos to give the bikes tank and side covers a cleaner look. The stock mirrors have been changed out to a oem style with shorter arms so they don't stick up so high. Finally I changed out the master cylinder cover with a polished aluminum one that is much nicer looking. I just had the bike serviced so the new owner will have no troubles. New tires, new battery, fluids all changed, fuel system flush and carbs gone through. It is running perfect and 100% ready to go. I would like to get $3500.00 or best reasonable offer for the bike. I will also include 2 black full face HJC snell 90 helmets and one 3/4 black & grey helmet that matches the bike. I will also throw in a matched set of his and hers leathers that were over $400 each. Cycle World Magazine rated the shaft-driven 97/98 Virago 1100 as one of the best bets in the used cruiser market. Yamaha offered the first shaft-driven cruiser with the Virago. It had a long run and they worked out all the bugs. For sale is a 1997 Yahama Virago XV 1100 Special with Clean / Clear Title and 37,941 miles, which will continue to rise somewhat. This bike is in very good condition. The Metallic Red / Pearl White tank and fenders are in good shape and the chrome shines up well. It has new tires installed about 1500 miles ago. Based on the Cycle World recommendation I bought this bike in May / 2013. Since then I've put over 7,000 miles on it, and done a lot of maintenance / repairs. The bike has Corbin Pipes and a Stage 1 Jet Kit. The jetting has been further customized with the aid of a Colortune spark plug and vacuum gauge. Here's a list of all of the recent improvements: New Mustang Seat ($450+ Value) New Battery / Tires / Plugs Carbs Cleaned / New Jetting / Carbs Synched New Air Filter / New Oil Filters (Three Changes) New Intake Manifolds / Valve Adjustment Progressive Rear Shocks New Side Cover Gaskets / No Oil Leaking Wrenching on the bike has been almost as much fun as riding it. The bike starts right up and the choke is seldom required. There are no flat spots during acceleration. It shifts smoothly through every gear. It's got great low end power and can easily support most two-up riders. Yamaha is known for its reliability and this bike should offer many more years of solid serviceability. Many of the mechanical issues that are required of an older bike have been addressed and it did pass a Maryland Inspection last year. It is being sold because I bought a larger sport touring bike which better suits my taller frame. Features to appreciate about the bike's original design are the dual front disc brakes, tachometer, self-cancelling turn signal switch, center stand, handlebar lock, helmet lock, sissy bar, battery tender, and the extra chrome touches. The saddle bags are very convenient for quick trips to the grocery store or to pack for longer trips. Tail Bright tape was also added on the back of the bike in three different places for added safety. It's black during the day then shines bright at night when headlights hit it. If you are worried about this bike being too big it weighs 536 pounds, which compares favorably to most 750 to 800cc bikes of this era. It handles very well in turns with its low center of gravity and tracks even better with the new tires. Pound for pound the extra horses make this model a great value. If you plan to do any two-up riding this bike should do much better than its smaller cc'd cousins. The only thing wrong with it is a minor right side fork seal leak, which may or may not need to be fixed for an inspection in your state. Two new fork seals are included in the sale. A $500 non-refundable deposit is required within 24 hours of the sale with the remaining balance due within 72 hours. All payments are to be made through Paypal.
