1983 Yamaha Xvz1200 , Classic 1983 Yamaha Venture XVZ12, 1200cc/V-4, Four rebuilt Carbs, Burgundy and Gold Trim(orig. paint), New Tires (less than 400 miles and $245 ea.), new wiring and replaced old style glass fuses with new plastic auto clip-type, Full Cruising Package with fiberglass Factory Take-off bags and Carrier with Rear Running Lights, Trailer Hitch and wiring, adjustable air shocks, Cruise Control, Front Fog Lamps, CB Radio and AM/FM Stereo with dual speakers. 1983 Yamaha Xvz1200 , Restored Black and beautiful. Extensive time spent sourcing parts and fixing known issues on this model. New progressive fork springs. New seals. New clutch - heavy duty with stronger springs. Billet fork brace. New brake pads and replaced rotors. Stainless steel front brake lines. Full carburetor rebuild, over $1100 last summer. Inexpensive touring bike, very nice bike for age. Runs and rides great, still use it as a daily driver. Will need a new front tire, rear tire was new this season. The cruise control stopped working recently. Still lights up but does not engage, have not looked into it but nothing serious I'm sure. Added progressive springs to the front forks this year as the air ride was leaking in the front only. Really improved the handling. Rear air suspension still works great and is fully adjustable from the dash. The previous owner had a slow speed tip over and damaged some of the plastic on the right side as shown in the pictures. The bike still goes pretty good even compared to more modern touring bikes. Not smoke no noises just a really nice running bike. I would not hesitate to strike out anywhere on it today. Miles will continue to go up as I am still riding it. $1500.00 OBRO. No low balls please. Don't need to sell it.

Purchased this trike from a dealer in South Dakota online. After replacing the air shocks compressor and cleaning the carbs, apparently either the carbs have something in them again or there is something in the gas tank. Since I'm not handy enough to fix and can't afford to take it to the dealer again, I'm selling.Radio, cassette, driver and passenger back rests, passenger arm rests, trunks in good shape, tires in good shape. New battery this spring. Bike starts on choke and takes throttle, but when you cut the choke, the bike cuts out. Other than that, it's in good shape. 23252 miles$4800 - CASH - obo. (The Voyager Trike Kit retails for $3895, uninstalled.)Will consider delivering (trailer) a reasonable distance in NC.Thanks for looking.

have here my 1984 Yamaha Venture 1200.... Not happy to sell it but am moving out of state and cannot bring her along all 3 boxes [bags] lock and are removable definitely the most comfortable bike I've ever had [its like a couch with handlebars] 34,xxx miles good tires, good fluids and runs cool has a new battery NEEDS: Stator [bike doesn't charge up the battery] Carbs should be Synchronized and tuned up [runs a little rough] Small exhaust leak in [1] pipe (could be filled in no problem) Brake pads are about 20% front and rear RUNS AND RIDES! Just needs someone to give her a little love again these bad boys go EXTREME miles, 34k is just broken in $1200 OR BEST OFFER.
