Not so many years ago they would've locked you up for suggesting a four-stroke single could spin to 13,500 rpm and produce a broad torque band the whole way there. It would have been unthinkable to conjecture that such a machine could win back-to-back AMA 125 Supercross Championships, not to mention a slew of magazine shootouts-including top honors in Dirt Rider, Motocross Action and Cycle World last year alone.The YZ250F did all those things right after kicking free of its crate; for 2004 it's back and badder than ever. • A bigger, 48mm fork with revised internals for a smooth, compliant feeling throughout the stroke, while a special new coating reduces stiction. •New anodized triple clamps accomodates the larger forks and give that factory look while carrying the handlebar aggressively low and forward. •Brake calipers now contain light, aluminum pistons. •New, titanium footpegs increase strength, reduce weight, and provide more grip. •Internal engine mods reduce pumping losses for increased midrange. •Exhaust flows through an all-new titanium header pipe for relentless power that just keeps building. I have owned this bike for 3 years. Absolutely no issues. Runs good, rides good. Has a very small dent in the gas tank. Tried to get a pic of it, but it will not show up in the pic. Saddlebags, windshield, passenger backrest, hand guard wind deflectors, cup holder, 2 keys. It has been stored inside since I have owned it. The gentleman I bought it from claimed to have stored it inside as well. Clean Vehicle History report. I would consider a trade for a V-Star Classic 650 or Honda Shadow VT750. Selling my like new Yamaha warrior 1700cc 2004 This is a garage bike, I also keep on the lift to preserve the suspension, plus always on the fuel stabilizer on the winter. I'm the 2nd owner, and used only here and there. Tires still good for few hundreds miles. Mileage is about 7k, clean title in hands Services done at Yamaha dealer only. Upgrades: 1) ECU flash (remove throttle based restrictions, revised power modes, A mode is actually usable, remove speed and gear based restrictions, disable factory AIS smog, disable EXUP, reduced engine braking, smoothed out the throttle response, more power everywhere, especially with the Graves exhaust. 2) Graves exhaust Slip-Ons and Y-Pipe. 3) GB Racing engine covers. 4) Watsen front LED turn signals. 5) Galfer Stainless Steel GP Brake Lines - Black with Red Connectors. 6) Sharkskins Rear Hugger (Same as used on the Graves R1 Bikes). 7) DMP Black Fender Eliminator. 8) Zero Gravity Smoke Tinted Windscreen. 9) ShoGun Frame Sliders. 10) ShoGun Swingarm Sliders. 11) Techspec Tank Grips.New owner will receive all stock parts.
