This is a 2004 Yamaha YZ85 2-stroke dirt bike. It is a good running, very quick bike. The initial cold start seems to only fire up with a little carb cleaner in the carb, but the engine fires right up on the first or second quick once its warmed up. Slight throttle needs to be given in order to keep idle. No problem riding through the gears. It flies and hits the power band hard for easy wheelies. It has new clutch, throttle cable, chain, and rear fender. It might need a new rubber carb joint. The performance parts include: HotRods crank assembly, VForce 3 Reeds, FMF exhaust header, FMF shorty pipe. The pic of parts are the stock parts. He wants to get a scooter for his college in Gainsville and drive in the campus. Mostly the bike is came from original stock except the center pipe changedas you can see from photos and both sections and the tail pipe are still in pretty good shape. Some minor scratches is something you can't be avoid otherwise, the bike is in good running condition and we just leave it in the garage. We kick strart it every 2~3 weeks to make sure it works. Thank you for looking at our auction. Bike: This is a gorgeous 2008 Yamaha YZ85 youth dirt bike. It starts with the 85cc 2-stroke, liquid-cooled engine. It utilizes a CDI ignition system and a wet clutch and a constant mesh 6-speed transmission. So this is a fully manual clutch that requires operating a clutch lever and shifting gears with your foot. The YZ85 includes 17-inch front and 14-inch rear tires to help keep the seat height low and the steering effort easy. It has a telescopic front fork suspension and a monocross rear suspension with a swingarm. With a seat height of only 34", 10.8" of front suspension travel, and 11.1" of rear suspension travel this is one of the most comfortable and nimble dirt bikes on the market. The entire bike only weighs 71-lbs, so younger riders won't feel so overwhelmed. If your looking for the next dirt bike to step up, look no further. If you are reading this you probably know about Yamaha's quality. We get to work on most every bike out there and Yamahas are one of the best built dirt bikes on the market. Of course it does come with a clear title. Condition: This machine is in great condition. Yamaha doesn't equip this model with a hour meter or speedometer so we can't tell you exactly how many hours or miles it has on it. What we can tell you is that it was owned by a local family for their child who mainly babied it. The engine is perfect and fires up nicely. The chassis and suspension are in excellent shape with nothing damaged, bent, or broken. It revs perfectly and runs great with no misses, noises, leaks, or smoke. The brakes all function perfectly and the suspension is nice and tight with no play in the wheel bearings, fork bushings, etc. The plastics are great with just a few light scratches on the front fender and a few others here or there. There is a little bit of paint worn off of the frame where your boots rub it, but this is a used machine, so some light scratches should be expected. Overall this machine is in great condition. The engine cases literally look like the bike just came out of the factory. This is one of the cleanest machines we've seen in a while. There is a picture below to show you the front fender scratches, that way you can see exactly what it looks like. The tires are worn some, but that's what you get when a bike is ridden on the street. Now considering this is a 2008 and they are the factory original tires, and they are still 50% or better, you can tell this machine wasn't ridden very hard at all. Everything on it functions exactly as it should. This one looks great, runs great, and is a chance to get all the features you want at a great price.
