Purchased it a few weeks ago from a local seller with an intent to ride a dirt bike for the first time, now i realize that i probably should have got something smaller. Standard Features May Include: YZ450F s revolutionary rearward-slanted-cylinder design is an innovative approach to achieve unmatched mass centralization. Concentrating the motorcycle s heaviest components (engine mass, fuel tank, exhaust system, and airbox) toward the center of the machine, as well as the rotational mass of the valve train, helps achieve superior, nimble handling. The 4-titanium-valve cylinder head is matched to a fuel injection system that provides superb power feeling across the rpm range. The adjustable fuel injection system uses a 44mm throttle body fed by a high pressure battery-less electric pump to ensure optimum fuel atomization and air/fuel calibration for a wide range of riding conditions. The YZ450F instantly adapts to changing air/fuel mixtures depending on altitude and temperature, for an engine that delivers no matter what conditions. Industry-leading suspension with refinements to internal and external components and settings result in superior handling. Stiffer fork springs, new valving and a new fork outer tube improve performance in the mid-to-end stroke and aid fork bottoming resistance. Quick-release quarter-turn Dzus® air box fasteners for tool-less access to the air filter. New Dunlop® MX52 tires offer excellent traction front and rear, especially on hard surfaces. The high-performance ECU provides great bottom end torque plus delivers a strong feeling of power from 3rd gear up while the gear ratios lengthen the powerband and heighten the feeling of power in 2nd and 3rd gear. The exhaust pipe has an innovative layout, circling the cylinder, giving the exhaust pipe proper length for an excellent exhaust-pulse effect. At the same time, the exhaust pipe has three different diameters throughout the exhaust tract, bringing out excellent power characteristics. This layout allows the silencer to be behind the side panel closer to the middle of the bike which centralizes the mass for superior handling. The aluminum muffler is positioned closer to the machine s center of gravity as it is almost completely hidden by the side number plate. The layout allows a shorter, lighter sub frame and also contributes to mass centralization for lightweight handling feel. The large diameter 22mm front axle and top triple clamp provide rigidity for unmatched handling and front end feel. The handlebar mounts are rubber mounted to improve comfort and reduce handlebar vibration.

Beautiful 2004 Yamaha R1 with the rare red color (only year this color was offered). New air filter, oil filter, and oil change. Has the most power you will ever need. Brand new rear tire. Have all the receipts to prove these things. Has 14,651 miles. Micron Carbon Fiber exhaust that sounds amazing.

2010 Yamaha YZF-R1, 998cc, 15,000+ miles but still riding until it's sold. R1 is in excellent condition almost showroom new condition. I am the second owner of this motorcycle. It was purchased from the original owner with 2,000 miles on the motorcycle. The motorcycle was originally purchased from Wayne cycle shop in Waynesboro, VA. The motorcycle speaks for itself in the pictures and in person. It has the factory black/metal flake paint job on it with Dual canister Yoshimura slip on exhaust. Has the fender delete kit on the tail to give it a better look on the back. Also has short adjustable levers for brake and clutch. Smoke wind screen as well and everything else is stock. Has Michelin Pilot Road 4's with 4,000+ miles on them and still look new. These are the best tires I have ever had on any motorcycle I have owned. I have always ran 93 octane premium gas and about 50% of the time or more will run premium non-ethanol gas in the bike. I have ran Amsoil full synthetic motorcycle oil in the bike since purchased with 2,000 miles. The motorcycle has been garage kept under a factory Yamaha R1 cover since I have owned the bike and previous owner had a garage as well. I have a pitbull rear stand that goes with the motorcycle as well as everything else pictured. There is a Suomy helmet a battery tender that I always keep the motorcycle on to help maintain the battery. Also a blue tooth Scala Ryder 9 system which allows communication with other riders or listening to music and making calls from your cell phone. Have factory manual and factory windscreen and levers as well. Also Have an Icon Leather riding jacket to go with the bike if interested. This motorcycle is pretty close to flawless and has been babied it's entire life. Clean Title in hand. No test rides without cash in my hand, this motorcycle is way to beautiful and is very powerful. This is the 2nd year that Yamaha put in the cross plane crankshaft which gives the motorcycle tons of low end torque. * Need to Sell * Make Offer
