Up for sale is my Team Yamaha R1 that is in great condition with clean and clear title in hand. Always garage kept, NEVER dropped, raced, wrecked, etc. All maintenance/dealer recalls have been done by the dealership at panama city cycles. You will not find a cleaner r1 anywhere around here, at least I haven't seen one. No expense has been spared while keeping up with this bike. I have done a few tasteful modifications to the bike such as, HID headlights, 2012-14 headlight conversion (will include stock), zero gravity smoked windscreen, flush mount blinkers, integrated taillight, MGP exhaust, 3D black and gold 520 chain, Vortex rear sprocket (stock gearing), solo rear seat cawling (also have stock rear seat), battery tender, tech spec tank grip pads, mirror block off plates (also have stock mirrors), shorty clutch and brake levers, and a few other things I'm sure I'm forgetting. Both front and rear tire have around 85-90% tread left. I have not done any type of performance modifications to the motor for the simple fact I personally believe it puts more strain on the motor with such modifications. I will also include bike stands and "Yamaha R1" bike cover. There are absolutely zero flaws cosmetically or mechanically. I am willing to send any type of pictures of the bike if you are interested. Bike is virtually like a new, 9-year old sport bike. This 2006 Yamaha R1 has only 10650 miles. Mileage will go up some because I ride it to bike nite when I can. Needs nothing but a rider. There is alot of glare in these pictures that make it look like there is spots in the paint but I assure you that there isn't, the bike looks much better in person than in these photos. Has a high performance GYT-R exhaust, power commander III, and fresh fluids. Comes with Fender eliminator not installed, service manual, owners manual, brand new Pirelli Diablo rear tire, and oem extra ignition key, and factory rear seat cowl. I do have the rear seat as well. Bike was never raced, wheelied, or dropped and it shows. I'm 55 years old, those days are long gone. In fact, i have never revved the bike beyond 8000rpms when out riding, but i do know this bike is fast and poweful. 175HP from the factory. Probably makes closer to 180HP or more with the exhaust and power commander. Buyer is responsible for shipping cost and/or pickup of bike within 10 days of auction ' s end. Has a clear Ohio title in my name. I will take more pictures this weekend. There is nothing wrong with the new tire, it has garage floor dirt on it from rolling and that is what you see in the pictures. I was just going to wait until fall to mount it since the tire that's on the bike now has a lot of miles left. The front is a Pirelli Diablo with about 750 miles on it. 2007 Yamaha YZF-R1. In excellent used condition. Never been down, dropped, raced or stunted. All periodic maintenance has been done by certified mechanic. I recently had the valve clearance checked (all good), new oil and filter, air filter, spark plugs, radiator flush, and brake fluids changed. New battery was installed last season and is still good. I have a few mods done to the bike. Coffman's shorty Moto GP style exhaust. Its a header back shorty exhaust that eliminated the catalytic convertor, y-pipes and dual under tail exhaust (sounds great). Also have fender eliminator kit, integrated rear turn signals, GYTR rear seat cowl (plus the original back seat), GYTR frame sliders, GYTR carbon fiber triple tree cover, GYTR Smoked windscreen, HID headlight conversion, Greg's Customs flush mount turn signals, a red devil girl tank pad, and polished R1 bar ends. Bike runs great; smooth and responsive. Absolutely no mechanical issues with this motorcycle and is a pleasure to ride. There are few minor normal wear and tear scratches on the lower fairings from road debris, and a small chip on the front fairing. Both are hardly noticeable. I took off the rear passenger pegs and seat to clean up the rear end, but am including them with the bike if you choose to re-install. I am the second owner of this bike. I bought it with less than 1000 miles on it and have enjoyed riding it for 23000 miles. I do not want to sell her but I'm starting my own business and need the extra funds. It absolutely kills me to list this bike after 15 years but its just no longer comfortable for me to ride, so here we go! I bought it new in 2003 and have owned it ever since. Its always been garaged and well looked after, no stunts, wheelies or track use. The majority of its 9,934 miles (subject to current use increases) has been in the suburbs on great backroads, when I used to have time to be gone riding all day Sunday. Its in unbelievable condition overall with only one thing that lets it down from being 100%, there is a crack on the tail section plastic from a minor drop one winter. Should the price come close to asking, I will buy a new tail section for the new owner, they are easily available for under $200. Modifications are pretty much limited to appearance/protection except for the slip on exhaust.
