I cancelled the auction as had incorrect year on it. The title reads 1965 but it is a 1968. Title was in error and I am getting new one which will take a few weeks to come in. Some bidders are not seeing all the photos. I use my own photo service so they are larger and shown below. Please scroll all the way down. I am very careful about my descriptions having gone on many wild goose chases to see bikes and cars that turned out to be in far less condition than advertised. I am sure many of you have been in the same boat so I will do my utmost to describe this so that there are NO disappointments or surprises. As found, 1968 Ducati 250c Widecase Scrambler in mostly original condition. Engine turns over with good compression. Mostly unmolested but has incorrect carb. I purchased this a few years ago but have too many projects so these are going. Frame is straight and shows no indication of ever being in an accident. Most everything there and selling as shown. It is missing tool boxes. The tank has pin holes and leaks but has no dings or dents and is original paint although poor paint. One lower cylinder fin on left side has slight bend in it. I have restored lots of bikes and this ones engine shows no signs of having any problems and with the price of early Ducati singles going stratospheric, this one is a prime example for restoration without breaking the bank. I have a clear New Hampshire title. Please feel free to contact me thru eBay with any questions you may have. I will also answer any questions by phone if you wish. I cannot crate and buyer is responsible for shipping or can pick up here. Can hire local to deliver to Forward Air in Boston for an extra $100.00 if that helps although ground transport is quite a bit cheaper. It looks like it was painted gold with gold metal flake interrior for the Shriners or other type of parade use! The motor kicks through and has compression, but has not been started for decades. This motorcycle would make a very cool ride in "as is" condition or restore it (I wouldn't) back to show room condition. The old J Models are a great investment and if you are looking for an original old ride, this bike has all ofd the charm! This motorcycle has been sitting in a private collection for many years. A full sorting and tune up will need to performed prior to being in top running condition. We also have the left floorboard and rocker clutch assembly which is not shown in photos. NOTE! As you will see in the photos, there is no motor number on the left case. The lower case numbers are -25 so they are correc to the year. We do have an old 1968 Ohio title and an affidavit showing a legitimate patper trail which will be provided in the sale. Note!
