I'm listing my 1976 Kawasaki KZ900. Clean Maryland title in my name. Bike runs good, starts right up everytime. No engine smoke. Bike is painted in a 1974 Z1 paint scheme by previous owner. Beautiful paint that really "POPS" in the sun. Bike is equipped with a Dyna electric ignition & coils. Carbs are 28mm "pumper" carbs purchased and rebuilt by Jim @ Redline cycles in ILL. Many new parts within the past year including carb manifolds, tires, rims, spokes, chain & sprockets, K&N air filters, NOS Kawasaki grips, paint job. Re-chromed fenders. Bike is sold with its toolkit, original key and owner's manual. Odometer reads 16,765 but i was told that the speedo is a replacement. Because of the age the bike is mileage exempt. Seat cover has a defect (see pic) but it's not that noticeable when seat is closed. seat pan is solid, no rust. All electronics & lights work including the turn signal buzzer. Bike is still equipped with its original hazard switch. Has a nice condition older Kerker 4 into 1 chrome header that is music to the ears when riding. Bike has been sitting in a dry garage all winter and so far this summer, i start it once a week to keep it in running condition. Bike gets compliments & thumbs up everywhere i go. If you don't like attention than this is not the bike for you. Only reason i'm selling is i was diagnosed with a deteriorating disc in my neck so i recently purchased a classic car to play with instead. Please take note that this is a 40yo motorcycle. 1974 Kawasaki Z1 900 KZ900 , Here is a classic bike. It is a Z1 900.Thats right, a Z1 900 not a KZ900.  Check out the pictures this bike looks great,  it runs and rides great too! Lots of chrome, Vance & Hines Sidewinder 4 in to1 pipe. Pingle foot peg mounts, and a  box, aluminum Suzuki GS1100E swing arm on it, it is trick!!!! There has been a lot of chroming done to it, There is a picture of it with the seat open, even the battery box, and seat mounts have been given the chrome treatment!! It also still has the slid out tool tray in the tail fin. New tire on the rear.   I have shown it with two different seats, one is a  black velour, the other is the normal low cut, black vinyl. Z1900. I do not have a title, I can not find it. I have old registration which I think is the last registered owner if you want it. Engine turns over free and no weird sounds and it shifts trough all the gears. The cases look good with no cracks. The bike is non running and missing the carbs and air box. It has a nice Kawasaki Kerker pipe that is real straight. The seat is not bolted down and is a aftermarket that looks really good with no holes etc.. looks brand new. The taillight has a little crack at the top, one of the switches has a chip and one has plastic missing, front brake lever not working, clutch lever loose. I think there is a weld above the right back peg. Look at all the pics for details and condition and if you have any questions let me know. Up for sale is my vintage 1974 Kawasaki KS125. I have a clear Florida title in hand. Just finished a painstaking, true to original, two year frame up restoration with a combination, repainting, refinishing, replacing OEM parts. Searching for parts was nearly impossible as the KS125 was only made for two years...1974-1975...VERY RARE...Whenever possible parts were replaced with NOS and when no longer available they were cleaned, blasted, re-chromed or repainted. The original Candy Lime Green paint was used and done professionally...the side cover is a brand new NOS part. The engine and carburetor were gone over thoroughly and cleaned repaired and tuned where necessary. I would rate the bike as a 8.0-9.0 on a scale of 1-10, because there are a few original un-retouched parts such as the tires and rims. The speedometer shows 750 miles as of today, however it may have a few more by the time it sells as its a blast to ride...everyone stops to ask about it... I have tried to include as many detail pictures, including a few "before"s, as possible however I can always add/send more by request. The entire restoration is documented in pictures. In the past I have restored and sold a 1962 Yamaha YDS-2, 1968 Kawasaki A7-SS Avenger, 1976 Kawasaki KZ900 LTD, 1976 Honda CR125 Elsinore and many others with great results so consider this bike with confidence. For sale. 1974 Kawasaki Z1A. Matching numbers Z1F 30801 Z1E 30891. 23k original miles. Clear title in my name. Original survivor z1. For your bidding pleasure is very nice and correct Z1A. The pipes and fuel tap are not original. Pipes are kz900 that I had re chromed a few years ago. They are decent no rust or dents and match the patina of the bike perfectly. Everything else is original and correct for the bike. Original Kelly green paint is beautiful non faded and my opinion the best color in all the Z series bikes. There are a few small scratches as one would expect in a forty year old motorcycle. Inside tank is as new. Bike has complete working chain oiler. All the lights, indicators, horn , gauges function properly. Bridgestone battlax BT 45 tires are new less then 500 miles. All chains sprockets good. Complete tool kit owners manual and dealer/factory crate order form. This is a very nice z1 that ready to ride. It starts runs, idle,s shifts, stops as it should. I will let the photos speak for themselves. Nice Z1. Please note the bike is dirty road grime I have been ridding it and will continue to ride so mileage will change. Over several years I have had the pleasure to own, restore and be a avid collector of all things 1973 Kawasaki Z1. To date I have had at least 10 (ten) 1973 models that have passed through my garage doors and 4 remain. Two original bikes and two in the early state of restoration, both of which were decent running largely original bikes prior to dismantling. In addition, I have compiled a large assortment of NOS, and quality used parts for the 1973 model. A large number of these parts from the dismantled bikes as well as extras have been re-chromed, re-zinc plated, and or powder-coated in preparation of my use in the restoration process. There are of course some (very little) new and aftermarket parts as well but on whole I would say 99% are OEM Kawasaki. There is essentially with the exception of a rear wheel, and exhausts nearly every part necessary to complete both restorations. In addition, there are probably enough desirable extra parts to offset much of the cost of the parts one would need to acquire.
