This bike is in great shape. 12000 miles, starts, runs, stops, everything is working properly. It does have a small dent in the left side of the gas tank, but outside of that there are no major issues. I ride it to and from work at least two or three times a week. It will be sold with extra parts, a set of forks, two triple tree clamps upper and lower, a new set of bearings, and a custom shock from Daugherty motorsports will be sold at full asking price. If that is not wanted, I will sell that separately. Also I have a clymer manual, which will stay with the machine. Clear title from TN.

For sale is my 1985 Honda Sabre V65, also known as the VF1100S. The bike features a 1098cc V4 engine, 6 speed transmission, and shaft drive. Inspected until 09/17. Mileage is estimated at around 20,000. New Pirelli Sport Demon tires installed in 2015 with roughly 1000 miles on them since them. Also replaced since I got the bike in 2015 is the fork seals, brakes, battery, and fork brace (replaced with billet aluminum brace as the Sabre is known to snap the stock one). I have the Haynes manual, along with  Maier GP Sport Fairing I haven’t installed yet, a complete extra engine (untested), as well as some myriad small parts. Bike runs great, shifts well, stops, and goes as it should. Pretty clean for its age, a few dents and scrapes and a bit of rust, but nothing severe. I’m only really looking to sell to buy a smaller, lighter bike. Would also be willing to trade for a smaller bike, around 600-700cc and 400lb dry weight, such as a Honda CBR600, Suzuki SV650, Kawasaki Ninja 650R. IN 1984 Honda brought out 2 versions of their new Sport Touring Bike. The most common, accounting for about 85 % of the production was called the Magna. It was more of a cruiser, but it had all the instrumentation and features that put these bikes years ahead of their time.The second bike, limited production was the Sabre. It featured a sport type chassis, wonderful instrumentation, shaft drive, and a hot V 4 motor that turned out 120 HP. This bike compares favorably with today's bikes except it is carbureted as opposed to fuel injection.These are smooth running bikes that develop a lot of power and a lot of torque, and are just plain fun to ride. This is not a bike for a beginner.This Sabre has 18000 miles on it which is pretty low for a bike of this vintage. The bike has a new rear tire and the front tire is about 65%. The bike has been ridden very little since 2011, so ihad a mechanic go through it, clean the carbs, adjust the brakes, flush the gas tank, and install new plugs. I'd not be the least bit hesitant to set out across the country on this classic. YOU'LL be hard pressed to find a Sabre in this condition

V65 sabre, 1100cc, 120hp, 6-speed gearbox, new brakes, Agm battery. Very reliable machine with tons of pull. This bike sits a little high and is not for novice riders. I have done some mods: round headlamp with h4 bulb, neutral position tracker bars w/ domino grips. Cushy seat and comfortable riding position make for a nice distance ride. I have a box of original parts that i removed to give a more trimmed down look but could easily be reinstalled. Several tank dents (doesn't seem to detract from the performance of this beast though)
