1978 Yamaha Xs1100 , 1978 Yamaha Xs1100 , Bike is in good condition. Ran great. Needs a crank bearing. Has newer clutch and tires. New seat. Has original Vetter Trunk installed. Smoke fairing. Second bike (79 XS1100) comes with it. Second bike has not run in 10 years, good restoration or parts bike. I have the Samsonite side bags and other misc parts. Can not ship the bikes. 1979 Yamaha Xs1100 , Specs: Classic 1979 model (fastest production bike of that year) 1100cc 5spd 3.5 gal fuel tank w/ 1/3 gallon reserve 4cyl 4carb 35+ mpg All works great, nothing wrong with it Shaft Drive New tabs as of mid June Parts bike is a 1982 model, almost complete, minus the brake pads for the back wheel which are now on the running bike. The engine on the parts bike runs great. Instead of rebuilding carbs on bike that runs, I just swapped out the carbs from one to the other. Parts bike transmission 1st gear slips out when getting on it heavy. which is why I chose to get the '79 running. aside from carbs needing rebuilding, rear brake pads and 1st slipping, the '82 is not far from being roadworthy.
