Big bore kit 1149cc, 10.25:1 compression ratio, Stage 3 jetting fitted with K&N pods, front and rear wheels from a Honda CBR fitted with NEW Pirelli Diablo tires: 110 on the front, 180 on the rear, 1981 CBX big rotors front and rear, Front suspension is air over oil damping control (recent fork reseal), Rear suspension is a Yamaha VFR polished aluminum swing arm with conventional shocks, extensive chrome, billet engine hangars, multiple trophy winner in various categories. During the four years I have been the steward of this machine, I have replaced the ignition system, alternator conversion kit, instrument cluster with an electronic KOSO unit you can actually read, factory exhaust system, front fork seals, starter, solenoid, ignition switch, battery, etc. This bike needs a new home that will exercise it once a week as, like all CBX's, they need to be ridden weekly to keep the 6 carbs from gumming up. Last appraisal for insurance for $17,000 While this bike is in excellent overall shape, it is no trailer queen. Has a couple of oil seepages like all vintage bikes and a couple little paint blemishes on the gorgeous paint job done in 2010. 2014 HONDA CTX 700 ND AUTOMATIC ABS NICE, YOSHI PIPE SOUNDS AWESOME.Several motorcycle makers have been directly targeting new and returning riders of late, looking to bolster their sales figures and brand-loyal ranks. Honda has been more aggressive than most in creating products specifically aimed at this market, leading to the new-for-2014 CTX700, along with the NC700X, CBX500, and Grom. The CTX combines a modern aesthetic with an available automatic transmission and antilock brakes. Its midsized 670cc engine is tuned for midrange power, rather than the less new rider friendly peaky top-end often associated with sport bikes. The seat is a low 28.3 inches, and the foot pegs are slightly forward. The CTX splits genres, making it hard to classify, and that is arguably part of its appeal.

1987 Honda Hurricane CBR 250R(H) MC17 Japanese 250cc Four-Cylinder Import Normal 0 false false false EN-CA X-NONE X-NONE The Honda CBR250 series of motorcycles was produced by Honda between 1986 and 1996. It is a lightweight sport bike with a 250 cc (15 cu in), 40hp, four-cylinder, four-stroke engine with a six-speed gearbox capable of revving up to 19,000 rpm. Initially these bikes were only sold new in Japan, and later sold new in Australia. For anyone who grew up reading and dreaming about Honda works racers like the legendary fours & sixes of the 1960's, this bike is for you. This bike was engineered by Shoichiro Irimajiri, one of Honda's most famed designers. His history starts with the 4-cylinder 250cc bikes of the 1960's that won many GP’s. He designed the RC160-164 and then the RC165 and 66 which were the 6-cylinder 250cc models. He developed the NR500/750 oval piston as well as the CBX. This MC 17 is a 250cc liquid-cooled direct descendant of the 4 cylinder race bikes built in the 1960's. The bike was imported into Canada by a collector and was licensed for the road. It was exchanged once or twice before I rescued it from a storage garage. I obtained the bike with the intention of building a Honda RC 162 replica. With too many project on the go I opted to prep the bike for the road to enjoy its unique power and amazing sound. The bike is street legal, has an Ontario ownership, low kilometers, and is very inexpensive to insure. It has recently had an oil and filter change, new fork seals, and a carb clean, yet will likely need a new battery and a carb sync because I’ve had it in storage since the spring. There are some blemishes on the bike that are to be expected with something of this vintage – there is a scrape of the exhaust and some fairing scratches and blemishes – yet all the fairings, tank ,and parts are original. As previously stated, I purchased the bike with the intention of creating a RC 162, however considering the shape of the bike it would be a shame to split it all up. This would make a very easy and fun restoration project. Feel free to send your questions and offers.
