Please see my "ME" Page for other exciting cars of distinction on EBAY. 1973 Kawasaki Z1 900 Description The Z1 Kawasaki was a motorcycle introduced in 1972 by Kawasaki Heavy Industries. It has sometimes been described as the world’s first superbike. The Z1, along with Honda’s CB750 from 1969, introduced the four-cylinder, across the frame, disc-braked layout to a wider public. The Z1 was groundbreaking in that it combined many different elements which previous motorcycles had used into one performance package. The Z1 Kawasaki was developed in strict secrecy under the project name “New York Steak”. Some years previously, Kawasaki, already an established manufacturer of two-stroke motorcycles, decided to make a 750cc 4-cylinder 4-stroke sports motorcycle; they were beaten to the market place by the Honda CB750. Apparently, the bosses at Kawasaki disapproved and ordered their designers to come up with something better. The bike you see here is a ’73 Z1 900 that is in beautiful condition. We have the original retail buyers order and agreement that shows the bike was originally purchased June 18th, 1974 from Strathroy Small Engine. The bike retains its original engine (Z1E08169) as shown on the original bill of sale. The original paint on the bike is in near perfect condition with no imperfections to note. The emblems are all original and correct for the bike as well. Both stainless steel fenders look great with no damage or pitting showing to either. The seat looks great with no rips, tears or wear. The original 4 cylinder, 900 cc engine runs great and starts up with a push of the button. Brakes work as they should and the bike shifts with no problems. The motor is very clean with no scrapes to either side. The exhaust has some minor pitting as you can see in the photos. Here is you chance to own a Z1. VIN number is Z1F07973. I encourage a physical inspection strongly to avoid any misunderstandings or representations. All used vehicles should be assumed to have some degree of wear. No vehicle is perfect to everyone. Each vehicle has its strengths, styles, tendencies and shortcomings. Therefore, despite our best efforts to verify a vehicle’s mechanical condition, we are not able to warranty a manufacturer’s workmanship or previous owner’s diligence in care. It is for this reason that all vehicles are sold ”WHERE/IS, AS/IS”. We have described the above mentioned vehicle to the best of our ability. However, with all classic and exotic vehicles, the condition is subjective. Please be advised that no oral or written statements concerning any vehicle constitutes a representation or warranty of the condition of the said vehicle. INDUSTRY UNIQUE RETURN POLICY: If for any reason you receive your vehicle and have buyer’s remorse, are not happy with the vehicle or just don’t want it for any reason we will purchase the car back from you. We must be notified in writing of your decision to return the vehicle within seven (7) days of your receipt of said vehicle. This bike was a gift to me. I had originally planned to just hold onto it for years, as I know the value will only increase. However, some things have come up, and I could use the extra cash to pay off some bills. That said, I am very "on the fence" of to whether even to sell it due to it's rarity. I've had several dealerships ask me about it to put on their show floor. The odometer reads less than 100 miles. The odometer works, but although the bike is in excellent condition, the tires would suggest that the mile count isn't accurate. The bike has been garage kept for years. Excellent shape. Very rare color. The bike runs perfectly. I have videos proving that.

2006 Kawasaki Ninja ZX-6R, BIKE IS SUPER CLEAN AND VERY LOW MILES - NINJA ZX-6R OFFERS RIDERS THAT SPECIAL KAWASAKI FLAVOR SO APPEALING TO HARDCORE SPORTBIKE ENTHUSIASTS There?s rarely a magazine comparison test completed among middle-weight sportbikes that doesn?t sing the praises of Kawasaki?s Ninja ZX-6R, a model so well attuned to its ultimate purchaser ? the serious sport rider who sometimes finds themself on a local track ? that one can only assume what the company?s engineers and designers do with their weekends. This popular unit features ultra-aerodynamic bodywork with Ram Air, GP-style swingarm, underseat exhaust system, six-spoke wheels, petal-style disc brakes, inverted forks, and a powerful engine that accomplishes what it sets out to do. This year, Kawasaki has also added a ZX-6R ?Special Edition? model to this mid-size family. To differentiate its look the ?Special Edition? features Titanium Silver paint highlighted by Tribal pattern graphics and an attractive high-tech wheel finish. The streamlined look of the ZX-6R is shared with its racing-homologated sibling, the ZX-6RR. Its fairing helps to divide the air stream farther ahead of the motorcycle; by moving the ?bubble? of still air farther forward in the cockpit, so the rider experiences less buffeting around the head and shoulders. The point of convergence ? where the divided air streams comes together behind the rider ? is critical to aerodynamic efficiency, so Kawasaki engineers designed the tail section to smoothly blend the air together while minimizing turbulence. The result is quicker roll-on acceleration and higher top speeds at the race track, as well as enhanced rider comfort and control. The body work includes a ZX-10R-style central Ram Air duct and a flush-surface LED tail light, which makes the ZX-6R more visible to drivers of other vehicles. It also features an aerodynamic ZX-10R-style front fender for a strong Ninja family resemblance. From the cockpit, the Ninja ZX-6R rider will notice several leading-edge features that put this bike at the forefront of design and performance. Foremost is the split-seam fuel tank/airbox cover. The rear half is the actual fuel tank, designed to fit neatly between the frame spars and down behind the engine?s fuel injection system, while the front half covers a quick-access air box. By centralizing the fuel mass near the center of the bike, chassis responsiveness is enhanced ? weight transfers from turn to turn are lighter, and the chassis is exceptionally stable under acceleration and braking. The advanced split-seam design also enabled engineers to make the airbox larger, thus enhancing engine performance. It also makes filter access quick and easy. Plus, a depression in the top
