As seen on 1974 BMW R75/5 New paint and upholstery are about all that had to be done to this BMW to get it where it is now. Runs beautifully but does have a broken speedo. Mileage reads 0169 but we have no way to verify if that is accurate. Still a beautiful bike and a wonderful ride! Bike is located in Sturgis S.D. All other shipping arrangements are the responsibility of the buyer (including international). A quick internet search will award you several results, and we are glad to work with any shipping arrangements you make (including pickup). Pickup at our shop is also available should you be attending the Sturgis Rally or just stopping through on vacation. A little about our bikes... If you're looking for a show bike this is not for you, this is a dirty f'n awesome 41 years old piece of Machinery. Restore it or leave it grimy and rusty for the vintage look and just service the basics. These bikes run forever. I bought this bike with the intention to restore it to her glory but decided to move on to other projects. I never transferred the title to my name but have a clean NY title and bill of sale signed by the original owner ready to go. He owned for a couple of years and put a few thousand miles and then left it sitting for a wile. The good: Bike start, runs and rides. New Battery and new tires. New front brake pads and brake line. Indicators, stop light, headlight, generator light work. No apparent leaks on the floor. No dents on the tank. Carbs were cleaned with new floats and such from old owner. Frame and engine have matching numbers. The bad: Speedo not working, tons of rust and grime, unknown miles. Seat is ripped and rotted. Front brake not working. The guy tried to fix it as it was a little soft and after he replaced the brake pads and lines it stop working, but he never flushed the liquid, so probably that would fix it. I have no idea of the mechanical conditions of the bike as I never tested or inspected anything since I was going to totally rebuild it. I only rode it around the block and the bike runs and shifts, but don't know what it might need. Bike is obviously sold "AS IS". If you have any questions please email me, test drive will be in a private mini parking lot as the bike as is not registered. Bike is in Greenpoint Brooklyn close to the Pulaski bridge. Asking $2,100 or best reasonable offer.

For sale is a bike that I took in on a trade. It was the previous owners daily driver for 3 years and never let him down. The top end was rebuilt 5,000 miles ago. Bing carburetors were also rebuilt at that time. Everything works on the bike. No turn signals as you can see from the photos. Paint is an 'interesting' color, you'll definitely get noticed. It has been done well, nice and clean and reflective. New AGM leak-free battery as of 12/15/14.

It is a European Model with only 34,400 miles (56,000 Km). This bike was purchased new in Europe and the former owner used for his travels while he was in Europe, and when he retired he came back to the United States and brought the bike with him, unfortunately due to health issues he could not ride anymore, but kept the bike always in very good condition.   It is in excellent condition just got a brand new BMW original Battery, the carburetors has been cleaned, the bike comes with tool kit, manual, dual BMW side bags and a cover. I try to show everything in the pictures. The chrome and aluminum are very good condition. Inside of tank is clean. All electrical work, headlight, high and low, tail, stop light, indicators and horn. Ride is stable and comfy, clutch and transmission work smoothly. The bike needs nothing, just someone to ride and enjoy.

My BMW is in excellent condition!. It has now 25,270 original miles. It has a Windjammer fairing, saddlebags, and original seat. Front and rear tires have less than 800 miles on them. I am the third owner, before me it belonged to a school teacher from Wyoming, who gave it to his step son who was into import cars and not motorcyles and sold it to me. The bike comes with original headlight, and original set of tools. I usually turn on the bike with a combination of kick bar and ignition, and sometimes I use one or the other. This bike is in great shape and you will not find one this nice any where. When I bought the bike in 2005 it had about 24,800. I have put on the bike about 500 miles since I bought it. The bike is an awesome bike from the moment you turn it on. It has a sound that you can tell is a high quality bike. When I ride the bike to town, I usually get stopped and asked questions about it. It calls everyone's attention because of the great condition that it is which is excellent!!! It has always been garage kept. No mechanical problems at all.
