This motorcycle starts easy runs great and is very powerful. Shift through gears great. Could use a clutch cable but works ok for now. Brakes work but rear brake needs some working in and sticks a little. This Bike is jetted for 4200 ft Utah. Great shape for the age. Runs and drives. Needs front exhaust springs. Has only one wrong spring holding it on. No air filter. Gas tank is pretty clean and is showing only a small amount of rust inside. New chain and main jet Carburetor leaks a little when gas if turned on and seams to only leak if tipped on kick stand mostly. This bike is old and is sold as is with no warranty or returns. The Bike is in Holladay Utah 84117 and I can help shipper load.I believe it's a 1976 but it does not say on the bike what your it is. Seller is responsible to find out what year it is if that is important. No title bill of sale only on old bikes in Utah so I put salvage on the title because nothing else fit.

I owned this bike since ~1977. I am the 2nd owner. It never been stored outside although I have riden it cross coutry several times. The bike is titled 1977 because it was sold new to the first owner in 1977. It is one of several hundred 1977 KZ900's made by Kawasaki using leftover parts from the 1976 model year. It is my understanding that Kawasaki increased the displacement to 1000 CC in 1977. The bike has 73K mile and it titled in PA as an antique motorcycle. I have installed a Dyna S electronic ignition system to replace the original points and rotor. I also repleced the original 4 X 4 exhaust with 4 into 1 Kerker system. The seat is an LTD model step seat rather than the original flat seat. It also has a luggage rack over the rear fender. I have the original grab bar for the back the was taken off when the luggage rack was installed by the previous owner. The top of the engine has never been open. I did replace the oil pump a long time ago. There is a small dent with a paint chip in the tank. Also the right side cover is not original. Other than that Its all original. It does not use any oil and usually starts with one or two attempts. I have kept it running every year trying to put at least 1000 mi on it each year. Its time to go.

The bike was built with the intent to race the vintage class. It has 79 KL250 forks and custom shocks that raise the bike 1" and make it alot better to ride. I will include the original forks, triple clamps, shocks and any other parts I have for it. The engine is stock, stock bore with a brand new OEM top end kit. There's about 2 hours on the top end, bore is perfect and the crank is tight. Included are various NOS gaskets/parts and a NOS Wiseco piston. Tank is good, no rust and a small dent on the left side, all original paint. Brand new Nightmare racing plastics with the SR front fender, brand new Renthal vintage bars. There's $300 just in those parts alone. The rest of the bike is solid, new steering bearings, etc. Put gas in it and go. Could use new spokes, that's about it. Runs strong, search Youtube for "KX125 A3"I'm also open to boxing and shipping the bike at buyers expense. ConUS only.
