1985 KAWASAKI 454 LTD This motorcycle is very clean and has 8056 miles on it. In 2008 my employee left it in my garage and borrowed some money to go back to south America to visit his family. Unfortunatly, he never made it back to USA. So, it is in my garage since 2008. Back in 2008, I did not empty the fuel tank and did not closed shut-off valve (proper way to wintrize). The fuel in the fuel tank for the last 7 years evaporated and demaged the fuel lines and the shut-off valve. Fuel lines and shut-off valve were leaking when I put some gas in the fuel tank to run the engine. Fuel lines and shut-off valve must be repaired or replaced. In 2008 my son took it for a ride and therefore, signal lights and mirror are broken. I have one KEY but I do not have TITLE. It can be repaired or used for parts. Selling my kawasaki 454 ltd. Has 17,000 miles it and needs front fork seals replaced, but have the seals for them. If there is anything else you would like to know about it just ask. Trying to upgrade to a bigger bike so I'm open to trades or just cash.

1985 Kawasaki Ltd , 1985 Kawasaki 454 ltd 20,800 $1200 obo Last running 2 days ago 6/22/15 Starter went and now bike can only be push started. When starter is hit, you only hear a single click from the relay. This issue is common and you can read more about it on ex-500.com. Basically the starter needs to be replaced. Can either buy a rebuild kit for about $30 or entirely new one for a little over $100 on eBay. Bought this bike about 1 1/2 months ago to fix it up over the summer, however I got sideswiped on my other bike and used this as my daily driver. Now that starter is shot, I am buying something newer for some cross country trips I have planned. In the past month I have: -replaced battery -changed oil and filter -flushed with CLR and changed coolant -adjusted the valves to spec -removed PAIR system (emissions device) and installed a lamp one designs kit to cover it (can read about it on 454proboards forum) -removed manual cct and installed much more reliable automatic cct (a must have as seen on ex-500 forum less chance to fail) -rebuilt fuel petcock -cleaned and synced carburetors, as well as remove EPA plug to tune pilot jets -replaced both throttle cables (push/pull) as well as tachometer cable -replaced both spark plugs with NGK -installed new led lights, as well as an electronic flasher relay to avoid rapid flashing All plastics and fairing pieces are there. I am also including my carb synchronizer as my new bike is a single cylinder. I have 2 sets of keys, and a clean NJ motorcycle title in my name. I still have a bunch of old parts, but I doubt you want them as most were consumable items. Text is much preferred at 9083924186 I work nights and may not answer until morning. The bike is fast, sounds great, and I've received tons of compliments just riding it around. I bought it this spring and have spent the whole summer working out the problems with it. Now it's finally a reliable bike but the season is over and I'm selling at a huge loss. I ride it to work daily and just took a trip up to Dayton on it. Bike has a lot of new parts. Now, the bike is 454cc but it is fast. I have a friend with a 600cc who can get up to 80 going downhill with the wind at his back. This bike will have you doing 90 before you realize it.

1985 Kawasaki Ltd , Up for sale is a 1985 Kawasaki LTD 454. I bought the bike last spring for a summer commuter. I bought it with about 12,000 miles on it and it currently has 18,700. I had absolutely no issues with it. It has a slight bog when you hit the gas hard. The carbonators need a cleaning but worked just fine for what I used it for. Selling because I got a new bike.
