Up for auction is a Vintage 1971 Yamaha DT1 250 cc Two Stroke Dirt Bike Enduro. The person I bought this from completely disassembled it and cleaned everything. Then went through it mechanically. He also painted many of the parts black (looks great and is done right but is not 100 % professional show quality). I ran a drove the bike very little and it ran great and shifted trough the gears fine and then stored it over the winter. I couldn't get it running this spring though. It backfires and sputters (a simple carb clean, fresh battery, new spark plug and fresh fuel did not do the trick). It comes with a free and clear title in my name. 2006 xt250 its really a 225cc. I bought this bike for hurricane season as I do every year. I bought it off a friends wife, and this is the service I did. service performed. front brake and rotor inspection, cleaned and greased bearings and speedo drive, front brake master cylinder dissembled cleaned, and new fluid in the whole brake system, lubed cables, new ultra bright h4 light bulb. new base gaskets, carbon cleanup on head and valves ( valves were lapped and tested) . new head gasket, valve guide seals. valve adjustment. carb soaked and cleaned, carb has new float seat and needle, and gasket. new seat cover, rear brake inspection. new seal on starter, all the lights work, fresh oil and filter, plus a bunch of stainless hardware which im still working on. 2000.
