1985 Yamaha Vmax. This is the 1st year produced of this iconic bike I am listing this for a friend who is the original 1st and only owner of this rare beauty. 98 percent original condition with 5,865 original miles.. Arizona purchased and remains garaged there....new battery , new fuel pump , runs strong like it did in '85 when I bought it... 2008 Royal Star Venture "S" 34,668 miles 1294cc,liquid cooled,DOHC,4-valve,V4 engine produces 98hp and maximum 89 ft-lb torque@4,750 rpm. 4 Mikuni BDSR 32mm carburetors deliver seamless throttle response.Each carb has a single 15 watt heater to ensure consistent fuel/air delivery under varying temperatures. Stock clutch was replaced with a new Barnett clutch about 4,000 miles ago. Wide ratio 5 speed transmission,with 5th gear overdrive reduces engine rpm at highway speeds for smooth,relaxed touring. Low maintenance shaft drive is smooth and clean 4 into 2 exhaust is easily customized. Electronic cruise control(very handy on long trips) Air adjustable front forks and rear suspension Vintage-style instrument console:digital speedometer,odometer,dual tripmeters,fuel reserve tripmeter,clock and fuel gauge 6 gallon fuel tank Roomy trunk(with added luggage rack)and saddle bags provide ample storage for long trips.
