1975 BMW R 75 , Looking sell my R 75 with sidecar. Bike starts and runs well. Engine was rebuilt a few years ago. Has about 20k original miles, but rebuilt engine has far less. Has spare starting and utility batter in sidecar trunk. As far as two-cylinder fans are concerned, first-class touring has a memorable abbreviation - and it?s been around for 30 years: RT. For long-haul travelers there can hardly be any other term which has always stood for perfectly conceived motorcycling concept from start to finish; excellent wind and weather protection, optimum ergonomics, highly convenient operation combined with a top-class chassis fitted with the unique optional extras ASC and ESA II*. In the touring segment, these features probably define the ultimate benchmark of innovation. Even though the R 1200 RT cuts a superb figure everywhere with its dynamic new design, everything about it sends out the message; built to cover thousands of miles, preferably in one go. Then there is this fascinating mixture of distinctive engine and big bike dynamics. The characteristic ?boxer? supremacy has been further enhanced in the current version; the engine?s crowning glory is now the radial DOHC** valve operating system from the HP2 Sport, though here designed for greater torque and without any loss of running smoothness; maximum torque 120 Newton meters, at 6,000 revolutions per minute, rated output still at 81 kilowatts (110 bhp). This means a tangible increase in thrust from the lower engine speed range through to above the medium range. The new valve control in the exhaust system ensures a discreet but more dynamic sound. 1975 BMW R 75 , My 9th BMW and I have owned it since 1995. Bike is in very good original cond. It has had lots of work and new parts in the last 2 seasons. Seat was just re-covered, front end rebuilt. New plug wires and throttle cables, too much to list. Includes Krauser saddlebags and windshield. Have original tool kit and a box of spare parts. Price does not include Velorex sidecar, but will throw that in for an additional $500. I hate to part with it, but a friend lost her house in Calif. Valley Fire and this sale will finance bldg. materials for her. Get yourself a vintage motorcycle and help someone out by doing it. You can't beat that! $3,500.00

This is a really clean and well taken care of 1975 R90/6. We have gone through and done both a compression and leak down test and the bike passed with flying colors. We have changed all the fluids including the fork oil and brake fluid, rebuilt the carbs, done a full tune up with valve adjustment and new spark plugs and test driven the bike.the R90/6 is one of the most desirable of the /6 series airheads and to this day make a great everyday rider.
