1980 Honda Cbx 1000, I bought this CBX as a project, just don't have the time to do it. If I had to guess it has not been on the road in over 20 years. The mileage is original, it set up in a warehouse up in New Hampshire before I got it. It will start, however not on all cylinders due to fuel not getting through some carbs. The carbs as well as the brake cylinders and calipers need completely rebuild. The tank needs to be painted, however the inside it is perfect, never coated. The right side exhaust has a hole in the bottom, could be repaired. If you are not mechanically inclined, I would not recommend this project. If you know anything about a CBX, you should know all of the other little issues it may have. $5,500.00

Honda 1979 CBX 1000 Frame with a Title After Years of Holding on to and Hours of Research, I decided to sell it.  Has Title signed by last owner and is legit. This is the 1979 Honda CBX 1000  Frame.  Has Scratches and scuffs and was mostly wrapped for the 4 years I had it. I unwrapped it for picture Day. This Frame is AS-IS and for restoration. This will cost tons to ship so make sure you do you home work like I did.  The VIN is clear to see in the pictures for you to do your homework. To my best knowledge, this frame is in good shape and was given to me by a person who was going to restore it and fell ill.  The title in the pictures and the numbers on bike do not match up. BUT, it is a good title for a '79 cbx 1000 signed. I have proof of registration of this frame with the numbers on the bike (seen in lower part of title picture). Original owners were going to build a new bike out of 2 frames and this is the title they gave me. It is up to you what you do with it. I make no other claims about this frame except, it is what it is and I made sure I double checked for accuracy. Mileage is unknown. (999) is just a number not a mileage I have checked into shipping and there are a few ways it can ship. I checked  with Freight companies and I have measured it on a pallet. It fits a 40" x 48" standard pallet on its side. The frame is 41" Tall and 38" long  and 15" wide. (Sitting standing up with nose in the air).  Pallet weighed 34 lbs and the frame weighed 38 lbs.  I will negotiate price if being picked up or for shipping. Pick up at my location is ok. Bike has been sitting and will need the typical fluids changed and brakes bled. Put a good battery in it (not included) and it spins over great. Bottle fed some fuel to it and it started and ran. Went thru all the gears. Carbs will need going thru as they were leaking from non-use. Paint is original and shines very well. Corbin seat. Inside of tank is black from old fuel but will clean quite well as there is almost no signs of rust. MISSING ITEMS: Headlight and bucket, both side covers and turn signals. There are just a few wires up front that do not have factory ends, they were cut... I have clear title and key. This is a ledginary 1981 HONDA CBX SUPER SPORT 1000 This bike was never driven or registered It has 11 MILES yes 11. It was donated to a Tech School in PA. It was used in teaching safety to the students way ahead of its time it looks like it was never tore down look at the pictures as it is remarkable unrestored and unmolested. Great condition naked 1982 CBX with 1981 body work on it. Good tires, good chain and sprockets, paint is in very good condition with a couple light scratches on the tank and a couple on the front fender, Inside of gas tank is very clean, runs great, idles at 800 rpm, brakes work as they should, air suspension holds air and no issues with it. Bike shifts through the gears as it should with no issues. This bike needs nothing but a new owner. 35,000 miles, everything on the bike works as it should. This is a very nice CBX and I have it priced to sell. Please remember this bike is 35 years old even though it does not look it. No joy rides. Up for sale is my 1982 CBX1000. Only 806 original miles on the bike. Clean clear title in hand. All original. Body work is nearly perfect. Chrome has some minor pitting from sitting for so long.
