It is a custom made 2010 frame up build bike using a Daytec Frame and a 124” S&S Twin Cam motor with a Baker transmission. The bike again incorporates the Klock Werks Double Back Header System and the Super Saver 4” mufflers. Great sound and performance from this show chrome quality combination. The front fender is a 21” all steel Benchmark Fender from Klock Werks. The fender is stretched an inch and a half longer than stock for a mores custom profile. The rear fender is the Klock Werks 6” stretched, frenched, all steel fender that incorporates our signature spade taillight for a clean and functional rear look. The turn-signals are also set into our custom steel filler panels, upper and lower, to continue the smooth clean lines that Klock Werks is famous for. A matching set of stretched bags gives the bike that slammed muscular street look customs are known for. With modern engineering and traditional Carrozzeria build techniques, this hand built, one-of-a-kind masterpiece is a seamless fusion of style and performance. A car that provides soul and character that no modern car and few classics can emulate. In January 2011, the Speciale was independently appraised at a replacement value of $1.5 million. Appraisal as well as all build invoices are available. Quite simply, the Speciale is special….on the road or track…for any collection and at any concours. Yet, if the owner so desires, it can even serve as an excellent every day driver. Completed in late 2007 after a build involving over 7,000 man-hours and two years, the Speciale was inspired by the big displacement European racecars of the late 50’s and early 60’s. The vision behind this car was to take queues from cars such as the Ferrari TR 59/60, Aston Martin DBR1, Maserati 450S and others. The next step was to marry that style, look and attitude to state-of-the-art technology underneath the tubular chassis and hand-formed, lightweight aluminum body, resulting in enhanced performance, safety and drivability that those old racers could only dream of. It is a Factory Built Model NOT a Kit made in someone's back yard. It has had only one owner Since the Build and only 5800 miles. My Friend and Jeweler Custom Ordered the car Locally from Mr. McBurnie. It was one of the original cars built before he was shut down by Ferrari and it took about 4 years from the time he ordered it to get everything completed on it. It is #79 0f 79 Built. Pretty cool to have the last one off the assembly line…;-) He ordered it with every possible option that he could. This car was his baby as you will see. It has spent all of its life in the garage. With Only 5,800 Original Miles on it from when the car was redone back in 1996. This is the car that was designed for Miami Vice TV Show and boy did it cause a lot of controversy when it came out. There is a Phantom Spot on the sensor of My camera when I took the pictures it is NOT on the car and you will see it in diff places in the pictures below... This is all about the Last one of these California Daytona Spyders he Built and if you don't know about it do some research on Google it was quite a HUGE deal back then and this was the first Miami Vice Car as well.This Daytona even has the Custom made McBurnie Wheels Cast just for this car and likely under a dozen made. I have had 2 others in my life and this is the BEST by far. There is not many things about it that are not just as I would want them. Like I say the car is NOT Cheaply Built and I believe it is the Best one EVER made. My Friend lived here in San Diego and went back and forth and was very picky about having things done correctly.. Well he made sure of it and this car is a Masterpiece!! The car also has a Fiberglass rear Spring and WOW What a difference in the way it rides! The exterior of this car is beautiful. There are a couple of little chips/scuff marks from driving it. All of the Chrome Trim and Exhaust Tips shine like there is no tomorrow. The back wheels are staggered a little compared to the front wheels.
