Ducati : Monster 1999 ducati monster 750 dark low miles cafe racer project

For sale is a 1999 Ducati Monster 750 motorcycle. I bought this last year with the hopes of creating a custom one-off Ducati Cafe Racer style bike, but I don't have the time or the space for any projects now. This bike is nice looking, but has the typical Ducati dent in the tank from where the previous owner dropped it at a traffic light. The bike was never in an accident and has a clear title in my name. It starts and runs fine but has been sitting for some time, so it may need a tune up. This bike came before the infamous "Red Key" system was introduced, so it's much less of a hassle to deal with than the newer ones with the troublesome anti-theft systems. Comes with one key that can be easily duplicated if necessary. All of the electrical functions (lights, switches, etc) work perfectly and the battery was replaced last year. The previous owner installed LED turn signals, and they have been professionally wired with proper relays to ensure correct flashing as well as a properly working dash indicator. The front tire is in good shape but the rear will need to be replaced soon. The valve clearances were checked and adjusted before I bought the bike. What you see is what you get with this bike. I don't have any service history, or very much knowledge about it other than I've posted here. With a little minor TLC, this bike is very rideable as-is, or would be a great candidate for a total restoration or custom project. Recent full belt/valve/oil service, carb rebuild and fork service by Race Tech. The turn signals/head light/tail light/neutral light all work. New battery. This Duc is ready to ride and runs great. Current registration (CA) good through July, 2015. The 750cc engine is a great all around performer giving spirted performance and good fuel economy. Use this bike as a commuter during the week and a sports bike on the weekends. This one of Ducati's best selling models for good reason.

i am selling my 2002 Ducati. it is the Senna race edition. 750 engine size. very similar to the dark models but has a different spring set up and a different rear swing arm. i have just put a new chain and new sprokets on it. the rear tire has around 300 miles on it. seat is a custom seat with italian flag piping on the side. the clear windscreen has been replaced with a tinted screen. i have drop down mirrors on the side. local pick up onlywill take offers.

2002 Ducati Monster M750IE fuel injected. Runs and drives well. We took this in on a trade last week. New plugs, fuel filter and ECU reflashed at Ducati Depot. No red key needed, no immobilizer problems. Like most Ducatis, the gauges work when they feel like it. The integrated taillight is also spazzing out. The bike has it's bumps and bruises, but nothing serious. It's a good, solid, ready to ride bike. Clean, clear and open title in hand and ready to be transferred. A $500 deposit is due at auction end and the balance upon pickup of the bike. If purchasing long distance, Paypal will be accepted with a 5% surcharge. I won't ship the bike, but will do my best to cooperate with a shipper if needed.

Selling my 2002 Ducati Monster 750 i.e., with just over 30.5k Miles on it. The bike is in excellent mechanical condition, but has dents in the tank and scratches on the exhaust from being dropped (once on each side). The tires (Pilot Road 4), spark plugs, oil, oil filter, chain, rear sprocket, and timing belt were replaced about 100 miles ago. The fuel filter was also swapped out then and the fuel pump was cleaned.Changes to the bike include an LED tail light with integrated turn signals(done by previous owner), LeoVince carbon fiber exhaust, Corse Dynamics intake kit, MotoWheels ECU Reflash, CRG Mirror, MW Kickstand Switch Bypass Kit, AFAM 50602R-43T rear sprocket, 15 tooth front sprocket (an additional AFAM 52604R-15T will come with the bike), Spider Peak Grips, MW Billet clip-ons, Oberon Performance clutch slave cylinder, and the G2 Throttle Kit.The dent on the left side of the tank is large, but the one on the right side is very small. The dent on the left side happened when a BMW cut me off in a parking lot and the one on the right happened when I hit a patch of oil turning in a parking lot.The motorcycle performs great and even with the dents I still get a ton of compliments on the bike. However, I don't ride it enough any more and I'll be moving soon so I decided to sell it. I'll include the stands with the bike.
