Up for sale today is the last of my collection of Yamaha Dt Enduro's and the prize of my vintage collection, (as far as I am concerned). I bought it, along with several others years ago before they were sold off by another collector and heading for Yamaha Museum in California. This is as close to new condition you will ever see again, with no surprises. Runs perfect. I ride it a few miles a month around my neighborhood and makes people stop in their tracks. I have put almost all the miles on it myself, very carefully and they are not a factor in its condition, it is like new. All original, not restored, they are not as good. Kept in climate controlled environment, all rubber, seat etc. like new. Check my feedback for other bikes I sold throughout the years, people are surprised when the get them. I had 27 at one time and this is the last and was my favorite because I was a poor kid and used to dream about having this bike but we could never afford one. Now its just been mainly for admiring and was very hard to decide to sell it. You will never see another like this. Clear title. Matching #s on frame and motor. New oem tires. No negotiations, its worth more than I'm asking and only appreciates in value. I just took these pics for this auction with my iphone, but I have hundreds of pictures, of all my bikes and included a few of some of my others I had, all sold now except this one. I am selling everything because I am going to travel the last years of my life. I have truly enjoyed collecting bikes, but time to move on. Can't think of anything else right now. It has it's natural wear from usage but would make a great bike if you choose to do an overall restoration. It comes with a Clear PA Title. Classic 81 Yamaha DT175 Enduro This is a Street legal 2 stroke Dual purpose bike The bike is in Excellent condition and runs great When I purchased this bike in 2011 it had not run since 1991. I completely dissembled the engine and reassembled it to make sure everything was good. I am a professional motorcycle builder so I decided to modify the engine to look completely stock but run like a hotrod. The bike stock is about 15HP this one is more like 20HP. Rev's out higher and quicker and pulls strong throughout the entire RPM range. Has low compression. Everything for fire and fuel is there and works but it needs the top end rebuilt to be able to run. This Bike was given to me a year ago, I haven't filed for a lost title yet. I opened a business a few months ago and just haven't had the time. I really wanted to get this thing running, which wont take a whole lot, TIME is just something extremely difficult to come by these days. I'm not even sure if they came with the lights to make it street legal, If I had to guess I would say they didn't. The seat needs to be re-upholstered, the pan is there. There is a small dent on the gas tank. Someone painted over the front fender with what looks to be black spray paint, the front fender is chrome underneath. I've done some research and the serial number for this one is a little weird, in that it's either a 1977-79 Matador MK10 350 which I think is incorrect, due to the motor size and the "style" or look of the bike. I think its most likely a 1966-1969 Campera USA 175 Obvious Missing Pieces: rear fender, foot shifter, headlight, taillight, turn signals, mirrors. Matching numbers on both engine and frame!!! 1972 Honda SL175 Enduro, original in mint condition. It has 4,855 miles on odometer, and I have no reason to believe they are not original based on the condition of the bike. I have put 600 miles on the bike since I bought it. Serial # "SL175-2013401" manufactured 11/71. Title is free and clear. I maintain the bike as it should be maintained... New tires are only a few years old and in great shape, new hand grips, and I had the bike recently serviced, as I do on a regular basis. Latest service (by local reputable mechanic who specializes in older/classic bikes) included oil change, new battery, carbs gone through, fuel drained and replaced with fresh, air filters cleaned and treated, all gas line rubber replaced with new in-line fuel filter, custom gasket, chain adjusted and everything looked over including points, etc. Passed state inspection, currently registered and everything works as it should. It starts easy, idles good, does not burn any oil, does not smoke, and shifts smooth. The gas tank is a 10 out of 10, finish is spectacular and no corrosion inside tank. I always turn the petcock off when finished riding and let the carbs run dry to prevent residue build up. The seat is original and 10 out of 10, soft and pliable. Paint on fenders & lamp is 10 out of 10. Most chrome & aluminum finishes are a 9 out of 10 or better. Gauges and many components are like new. I unfortunately put some hair-line cracks in the right side plate when I recently tried to remove it in a hurry (bad on me!). I put tape on the inside of the cover to firmly hold it, to keep it from cracking further, and it still looks good and stays in place. You should know that it is there. You can hardly see it unless you are looking for it. The left side does not have any cracks. This bike is for a serious collector and/or someone who can appreciate the beauty and condition of this time piece. What this bike is not is for someone wanting a commuter bike, to use on the roads or trails and tear it up. It turns heads wherever I take it and I'm not interested in giving it away. Here is a link to additional close up pictures and a video taken today, 8/26/14. What you are seeing in these pictures are the close up "nitty gritty", what most people won't show you. Step back a few feet, and you don't see these imperfections.
