2002 HARLEY DAVIDSON ELECTRA GLIDE POLICE FLHTPI This bike is an ex-PA state police. It come with a clean Pennsylvania title. I have stripped down this Electra Glide for a more custom/bagger look. It is a 1450 fuel injected 5 speed. The color is bright white. The overall condition is very good. As you can see in some of the pictures there are areas that have some scuffs and scrapes which have been cleaned and touched. The fairing and rear fender have the most of the marks. Since the police remove most of the lighting and just cut wires with out thought I continued the removal process. All the crash bars, the spot light bar and rear tour pack support have been removed. I installed a new front fender skirt, Kuryakyn mirrors with integrated turn signals, 4" smoked windscreen and relocated the license plate holder. The side panels are pearl white from another bike. Also removed the police seat and installed a new solo seat. All this gives it a Street Glide/custom bagger look. All the lights and gauges work. The horn does not work. The police when removing their equipment like to just cut any old place. They also like miss matching parts. It has two different saddle bags. You can only tell when the lid is open. The left saddle bag lower bar is tweaked a little. That is why in the pictures the bag looks a little off. It mounts up just fine. I have also replace the front motor mount with a duo-glide mount. I have installed a new battery and new brakes front/rear. The tires are in good shape with about 65% tread life left. The bike has been on a reliability run and the motor, clutch and transmission all work and sound as they should. I always wanted the grabber blue with white stripes. When I found the one D&M had for sale I knew I wanted the car because it was 2010 grabber blue with red stripe ( never seen the combo before ) I always said I would never buy a car sight unseen but everything just felt right. During that time I have had over 12 Corvettes and during the last 3 years I have been collecting High end classic cars. After working on a friends Corvette I got the bug to get another Corvette. I went to the internet site of D&M Motorsports . Their site has all High Def photos that are taken by a professional photographer and I found a pristine 1993 40th Anniversary Corvette with only 1,300 documented miles. I went up to D&M and Dave handled the sale. We settled on a price and I purchased the car that day. Because of the low miles on the car Dave arranged with Mike to deliver the car in an enclosed trailer to my home. Mike is the President & owner of D&M yet he took the time to deliver the car himself. In 67 years I have never taken the time to write a review on anyone, but D&M is truly special. Either you're so mad at the product or the seller you write a scathing report or you're so enthralled 2 days after you buy you gush with enthusiasm. No one seems to take the time to evaluate and come to a proper review to help the people looking for information. So I hope my words will be of value for a potential customer. I started looking for a Corvette in October of 2013 all over the Midwest and D & M Motorsports was just one of the dealers I pestered for 4 months, in those months I met with Angie and Dave checking out the cars I previously viewed and all their new arrivals. At no time was I pressured to purchase and every meeting was cordial and all my questions were answered no matter how long it took. In February 2014 they got in the car I wanted and I made an offer they agreed too and with the contingency I could have the car checked out. Not only did they agree to my terms they even stored the car for a month till the weather broke and at no charge. The whole experience was 1st class and I was never treated better by a dealer new or used. I always wanted the grabber blue with white stripes. When I found the one D&M had for sale I knew I wanted the car because it was 2010 grabber blue with red stripe ( never seen the combo before ) I always said I would never buy a car sight unseen but everything just felt right. During that time I have had over 12 Corvettes and during the last 3 years I have been collecting High end classic cars. After working on a friends Corvette I got the bug to get another Corvette. I went to the internet site of D&M Motorsports . Their site has all High Def photos that are taken by a professional photographer and I found a pristine 1993 40th Anniversary Corvette with only 1,300 documented miles. I went up to D&M and Dave handled the sale. We settled on a price and I purchased the car that day. Because of the low miles on the car Dave arranged with Mike to deliver the car in an enclosed trailer to my home. Mike is the President & owner of D&M yet he took the time to deliver the car himself. In 67 years I have never taken the time to write a review on anyone, but D&M is truly special. Kevin & Angie were also fun to talk with and my entire experience was like hanging out with good friends. I went back to pick up my plates and ended up buying a 2001 Vette. The truly unusual part of this deal was Mike took my pristine 1940 Chevy coupe in on trade. D&M is a High end sports car and Corvette dealer yet he took an antique car in on trade just to close the deal. Either you're so mad at the product or the seller you write a scathing report or you're so enthralled 2 days after you buy you gush with enthusiasm. No one seems to take the time to evaluate and come to a proper review to help the people looking for information. So I hope my words will be of value for a potential customer. I started looking for a Corvette in October of 2013 all over the Midwest and D & M Motorsports was just one of the dealers I pestered for 4 months, in those months I met with Angie and Dave checking out the cars I previously viewed and all their new arrivals. At no time was I pressured to purchase and every meeting was cordial and all my questions were answered no matter how long it took. In February 2014 they got in the car I wanted and I made an offer they agreed too and with the contingency I could have the car checked out. Not only did they agree to my terms they even stored the car for a month till the weather broke and at no charge. The whole experience was 1st class and I was never treated better by a dealer new or used. I believe you have to remember you are dealing with used cars and anything can happen, which is not necessarily the fault of the seller. During that time I have had over 12 Corvettes and during the last 3 years I have been collecting High end classic cars. After working on a friends Corvette I got the bug to get another Corvette. I went to the internet site of D&M Motorsports . Their site has all High Def photos that are taken by a professional photographer and I found a pristine 1993 40th Anniversary Corvette with only 1,300 documented miles. I went up to D&M and Dave handled the sale. We settled on a price and I purchased the car that day. The bike has quite a number of added accessories which really set it apart from all others. Re-introduced in 2010, the Dyna Wide Glide motorcycle is all about attitude. Its tough, dark styling and retro feel, along with a retro price tag, give riders the confidence to sit low and stretch out. The Wide Glide is raw and true to its roots with a chopped rear fender, black rims on 40-spoke laced wheels, a black tank console, Tommy Gun exhaust, beefy, raked-out forks and a swept back sissy bar. They're tiny enough that they won't show in a picture. The front and rear tires are both at 85% plus. The leather seat is like new with no wear or damage. A stretched, chrome fuel tank console and Streamliner footboards, brake pedal and passenger pegs finish the custom treatment. Newly restyled Black Slotted Disc cast aluminum wheels are exclusive to the Street Glide. A new low-mount license bracket locates the plate below the tail lamp, with new LED illumination.NEW ON TOURING MODELS FOR 2009A new chassis designed to deliver precise responsive maneuverability, increased capacity and greater comfort for rider and passenger was introduced byHarley-Davidson for 2009. I just picked this beauty form the original owner just outside Pittsburgh, PA when he decided the bike was gathering too much dust in his garage and space was at a premium. A super sharp machine that was sold at Z & M Harley Davidson in Greensburg, PA just east of Pittsburgh PA.
