1975 Harley Sportster 1000 XL ironhead with clean title, 23,873 miles matching Frame and motor numbers 3A41217H5 in fairly nice shape just needs some bringing back to life. Bike has sat for 3 years since it needed a new starter motor as shown in pictures, it will need a new starter motor to run as it is electric start only. always kept indoors, clean bike, has some rust and corrosion in parts of engine side cases, rims, and some paint chipping on cylinders but pretty good shape overall. The push start button is not working and needs to be replaced on right side starter control switch on the handlebars, so at one point a basic push button was wired into it next to the key switch being moved also under the battery cover box on left side of the bike, the switch has some rust on it but would replace that ,or get handlebar switch push button to fix. Has a cracks in rear fender on an area near the rear left turn signal mounting bolts, needs a bushing for the fender/mount it seems. the front brake rotor has rust and looks as if on the front caliper the bleeder valve has broken off in the caliper, so most likely a new one will be needed, seat does not seem correct. The fuel tank and paint on the bike is pretty nice all together, just a few scuffs in the paint here and there, most looks great and chrome shines, but overall This bike looks great and with a couple new parts, fresh gas and carb cleaned it will be a good runner/project. 1979 Harley Davidson XL1000 Sportster XLH,  Here is a cool, older Iron Head Sporty. I'm going to call it a retro classic.If you look at the tank close, you can see that it has silver ghost flames on it, looks great in sun light, and in low light, they cant be seen, what a nice touch!!!  It has electric start. Stock bars have given way for the 12in. "mini Apes", fitted with chrome controls.  The stock carb. has given way for the S&S super "B". It has a new top end with Wiseco pistons. Check out the pictures, and give us a call!!! This bike has the chrome, its' all over the bike!!  We have also check the charging system, and Yes, it works correctly, in fact, we just installed a new Generator.  Check out the pictures, I bet you will like what you see!!!! It also looks like it has a wider than stock rear rim on it.
