I have been using synthetic oil and lube since the first maintenance. Within the first 18 months I owned the bike, I changed almost all original parts for HD chrome(From the front end to the swing arm). The bike was purchased new at Barb's Harley Davidson in NJ and has been tucked in the corner of his garage for the past few years after knee surgery sidelined him for a few summers. Fast forard to 2014 and the bike was still setting and the knee wasn't doing well so the difficult decision was made to sell the bike in hopes that a new owner would point it into the wind. All I can say is WOW!!! This really clean 2005 Harley Davidson FLSTNI Softail Deluxe in the stunning Cobalt Blue/Glacier White Pearl two-tone with only 6,327 miles and has had impressive care. The bike is amazingly clean as you would expect from one with such low miles. I personally inspected and detailed the bike and didn't see a ding, scratch, dent or anything that I detected other than a VERY tiny touched up spot on the white part of the rear fender. It's so hard to see it washed out in the pictures I tried to take of it. Every item on the bike works just as it should. The tires are 90% or better. The leather seat is like new with no wear or damage. The chrome is beautiful and just what you would expect on a low mileage machine. Obviously they didn't ride it much in two years which is why the bike was sold back to me. Work schedules just took over and the bike just sat. The bike was originally sold new at Smalt'z Harley Davidson in Eagle, PA and has spent it's entire life right here in PA. This immaculate 2006 Harley Davidson FLSTNI Softail Deluxe in the stunning Vivid Black/Glacier White Pearl two-tone with only 4,476 miles, you read that right, ONLY 4,476 miles has had impressive care. The bike is amazingly clean as you would expect from one with such low miles. I personally inspected and detailed the bike and saw nothing to even mention. There is not a ding, scratch, dent or anything that I detected other than a tiny touch up spot on the white color on the rear fender. I tried to picture it, but it blends so well you can't make it out. Every item on the bike works just as it should. The wide whitewall tires are both brand new. The leather seat is like new with no wear or damage. The chrome is beautiful and just what you would expect on a low mileage machine. The bike is stock bike and is pretty much the way it came off the showroom floor in 2006 other than a detachable windshield, passenger backrest, Vance & Hines Long Shot exhaust, axle covers and a few other goodies as seen in the pictures. When the Softail Deluxe hit the showrooms, riders big and small couldnt wait to take this plush ride to the road. How could we blame them?
