I just sold the twin to this bike with a few more miles one week ago and when I got the call on this one I could hardly believe it. This beautiful 2004 Harley Davidson Softail FXSTDSE2 Screamin Eagle Deuce in the stunning two-tone Yellow Pearl/Platinum Mist and ONLY 2,703 miles was just picked up from the original owner at the New Cumberland Army Depot just 35 miles from me. It was sold new at McDermott Harley Davidson in Fort Ann, NY while he was stationed there in 2004. He has found his recruiting schedule keeps him super busy and a new child on the way so common sense won out and the decision was made to sell this beauty. When I finally got a chance to see it in person I found myself falling in love with this incredible machine and was determined to leave with it in my trailer. The overall condition is excellent/like new, with no dents, dings, scratches, nicks or other noteable flaws. The pictures give an accurate view of the condition of the bike and here's what I know. If you are of have been looking for one of these particular bikes, this is it. No questions about it. I sell over 100 bikes a year and they DO NOT come any nicer than this one. With ONLY 2,703 original miles this bruiser has a ton of miles left to be ridden by the lucky winner of this rare offering. When you get right down to it riding a Harley is all about attitude and this one has more than its share all it needs is someone bold enough to make it theirs, throw a leg over it and head down the highway. Built on the framework of a Softail Deuce, the FXSTDSE2 has been painstakingly crafted by Harley artisans with accessories that go together like brush-strokes on a canvas. Combine a fat chrome handlebar, a custom headlight and riser cover, custom leather seat and pillion with chrome inserts, Detonator three spoke custom wheels and matching rotors and sprockets, dual front discs brakes, and lowered front and rear suspension set this bike apart from the rest. The custom Yellow Pearl and Platinum Mist paint job bares its soul with a deep luster carried right down to the color-matched frame, accented with complementing pinstripes and "Harley-Davidson" script that stretches across the tank. The look isn't all that makes the FXSTDSE2 unique. Only a limited number of these were ever produced. But don't set aside a spot in the museum for this bike just yet.
