For sale: 2005 Suzuki DL650 V-Strom. Old, and lots of miles, but in great mechanical condition. Engine runs strong, lots of torque. I've owned this bike for over a year now, but bought an R6 to start racing. This bike is great in the city (lots of low-end torque), great on the highway (has plenty of pull at 80+ mph), perfect for long-distance touring and two-up riding. Firstly, a few facts: - I bought it from the original owner, who imported it from Canada. The instrument cluster was (and odometer) in kilometers only, not miles. I replaced the cluster with a mph/kph model from eBay when I bought it. I will supply the original cluster with the bike. - Original odometer had ~50k miles on it when I bought it. - New odometer has ~75k miles. Actual mileage should be around 55k (basically, just subtract 20k from the current odometer). - Yes, this is a high-mileage bike, but anyone seriously interested in a V-Strom would know that these engines last forever. I've heard reports of over 200k before overhauls. - All the major wear parts have been upgraded or replaced, and engine runs great. Valves were adjusted and fork seals replaced at 50k miles by original owner. - There's some road rash on left side of the fairing from the original owner. Said it was a small/slow crash. Replaced the crash bars after. No frame damage. Maintenance/upgrades: - Chain and sprockets replaced last year (maybe 5k miles) --- Chain is a DID 525VX, stock length and pitch --- Front sprocket upped to 16 teeth. Very Clean 2013 Suzuki SFV650 (also called Gladius)One owner (me), purchased new in 2014.Adult owned and well taken care of, this motorcycle has no issues and no damage, period. I have ridden this bike as a (fair weather) commuter for almost 3 years and approximately 6200 miles.It has given me zero issues!It has been garage kept and has never been ridden in any significant rain.Never raced or abused. The tires were replaced at 4600 miles with (high end) Dunlop Sportmax Q3s and the Oil (Synthetic only) and Air Filters were changed at 5000 miles.There is no service needed at all, just get on and ride! If you are not familiar with the SFV650, do some googling and you will find very favorable reviews as it is the successor to the very popular SV650 with a bit more style.This bike can work for a new rider or as a second motorcycle.The stock seat height is pretty low (30.9") which aids confidence.In my opinion, this bike should be considered over any of the new 250/300cc bikes from Japan and Europe as it has much more room to grow as a rider.The power is very usable and there is enough to excite pretty much anybody.0-60 acceleration times in the low 3 seconds are quoted, just think how much you would have to pay for a car that could do that!The bike is also relatively light at < 450 pounds wet. I have done a few very tasteful modifications.The significant modifications were all done by the dealer.I have all the original parts if you are not happy with the changes, you can revert them. Front forks were very soft on the stock motorcycle so they were updated with Race Tech: Gold Valve Cartridge Emulators and Hi-Performance Fork Springs. Google: Racetech sfv650 for some interesting information. The dealer did this install. Note only the front fork was done, I am happy with the rear shock and it is stock The front brakes lacked strong feel on the stock bike so they were upgraded to steel braided lines and HH Pads. All components are from Galfer. The dealer also did this install. Included is the rear braided brake line and upgraded pads but they are not installed.Tail Tidy - This cleans up the rear of the motorcyle nicely and includes an LED taillightGenuine Suzuki windscreen - It's small, looks decent and really helps the wind blast on the highway.IXIL L2X Hyperlow Slip on Exhaust - The V-twin on this bike sounds great and the IXIL makes it sound even better without being totally obnoxious. I get complements from guys on other bikes for how great the bike sounds. Keep in mind if this is not for you I have the stock exhaust (which weighs significantly more too). Lithium Battery - I love these because they are much lighter, can't leak and hardly require a battery tender as a Lithium battery is very slow to discharge.Air Filter was replaced at 5000miles with a BMC which can be cleaned versus replaced. The asking price is very reasonable for this bike, I like to give people a good deal and have both sides feel good about the sale.Take a look at the other SFV650s being sold by some dealers and you will find them significantly higher. Thank you very much. 1984 GL1200 Goldwing Bike has been redone 5 years ago, Repaint,many extra chrome and lights. Lights are 90% LED's. I rebuilt starter OEM. which if you know these bikes 1984-87 GL1200 starters had problems after many years. They will not turn over very fast after bike was up to temp you needed to wait 15-20 Mins and it would start. I rebuilt starter and I have not had this problem again and it's been 3 years since I redone the starter. Also the problem with the plugs on left side of battery the 3 wires that for stator, Plug for stator has been removed and hard wired solder and heat shrink. I have not had any problems at all with the stator on this bike. Front fork seals been redone with OEM seals and OEM bushings & Race Tech springs. Rear shocks are New Progressive Suspension 416 Both tires are Dunlop Elite 3 Bias Front with 90% tread and Rear 85% tread rear does show a little bit of cupping but not bad, tires put on 3 years ago. I bought a Gl1500 with sidecar 2 years ago and have not road GL1200 a lot since. But I have taking it out some. I put 150 miles on it just before winter. Brakes pads are 80% good and are Sintered HH Brake Pads and brakes calipers all 3 have been rebuilt. I have a J & M CB with intercom on bike JMCB-2003K-DU also have Pioneer CD player with XM Satellite radio built in. I have XM Satellite Tuner in trunk. I am trying to give you as much info that I would want to know if buying a bike on e-bay. The bike is 31 years old but I would not be afraid to leave on a 3000 miles ride today with it.Well I would change oil & check the tires pressure before I leave. And hope it warms up some. since it is only 21 deg now...lol I will change oil and filter with OEM filter and Honda oil before it sells. I can do this the day it is picked up and show buyer how to or I can have it done before. I have only run Honda oil in bike since it been in family for 7 years. I can store it for you until spring if needed to. I also put a custom Hartco seat on it with Embroidered Eagle on back rest. I have a lot more money in this bike then i know i will NOT get out of it what I have spent $8000.00 at least buying it and doing what I have done. But it is one of my toys lol. For Sale is my 2009 Triumph Sprint ST. It has 26,140 miles and will not be increasing. It has a LSL handle bar conversion, LSL fairing sliders, and front and rear axle sliders. The 24,000-mile service has been done including the valve inspection. I have all major service receipts. It fell over in my driveway so there is very slight damage on right fairing. See photos. All of the original handle bars, and levers are included. There are aftermarket front discs fitted with HH pads. Also included are spare front brake pads. The originals discs which are in perfect condition are also included. I fitted longer front brake lines with the handlebar conversion. The original brake lines are included. Also included is a Haynes manual. There are screens on the radiator and oil cooler radiator. All parts are there to fit back to stock. Also included is a Bill Mayer seat that I trimmed down a little. The seat on bike is custom padded and covered. There are also the inner bags for the saddle bags. It has a Shorai Lithium battery installed. Tires still have plenty of tread. 2007 Honda Vfr 800 A3 INTERCEPTOR (ABS), For sale is a beautiful Candy Glory Red 2007 Honda Interceptor VFR800 with ABS, in my opinion is the best color for the VFR. I have maintained this bike and because of this the bike feels just as good as it did from day one. Just recently I have inspected the valve clearance, cleaned the K&N filter, upgraded the timing chain tensioner, changed the battery, the drive chain, new brake and clutch fluid, new Dunlop Road Smart II tires front and rear, forks have been serviced Corbin seat upgrade, installed Hella 65w head lights, I also still have the OEM seat with the cowl. EBC HH brake pads front and rear, these pads are amazing and work perfectly with the ABS and the Road Smart tires. Its almost scary how fast this bike can stop wet or dry rain or shine. I use this bike as my commuter to and from work five days a week, from Fontana to El Monte this bike is perfect in both rain and shine. I will say that with the Road Smart tires I was able to get about 10k miles out of the rear and about 15k out of the front and that is also including some rather spirited riding, In addition to that they have superior traction in the rain. This bike truly is a pleasure to ride both for the long rides and in the twisties, I have the scrape marks on my boots to prove it. The only reason I am selling this bike is because I have changed my focus to another bike and my wife wont let me have two for too long. $5,500.00
