Very Clean 2013 Suzuki SFV650 (also called Gladius)One owner (me), purchased new in 2014.Adult owned and well taken care of, this motorcycle has no issues and no damage, period. I have ridden this bike as a (fair weather) commuter for almost 3 years and approximately 6200 miles.It has given me zero issues!It has been garage kept and has never been ridden in any significant rain.Never raced or abused. The tires were replaced at 4600 miles with (high end) Dunlop Sportmax Q3s and the Oil (Synthetic only) and Air Filters were changed at 5000 miles.There is no service needed at all, just get on and ride! If you are not familiar with the SFV650, do some googling and you will find very favorable reviews as it is the successor to the very popular SV650 with a bit more style.This bike can work for a new rider or as a second motorcycle.The stock seat height is pretty low (30.9") which aids confidence.In my opinion, this bike should be considered over any of the new 250/300cc bikes from Japan and Europe as it has much more room to grow as a rider.The power is very usable and there is enough to excite pretty much anybody.0-60 acceleration times in the low 3 seconds are quoted, just think how much you would have to pay for a car that could do that!The bike is also relatively light at < 450 pounds wet. I have done a few very tasteful modifications.The significant modifications were all done by the dealer.I have all the original parts if you are not happy with the changes, you can revert them. Front forks were very soft on the stock motorcycle so they were updated with Race Tech: Gold Valve Cartridge Emulators and Hi-Performance Fork Springs. Google: Racetech sfv650 for some interesting information. The dealer did this install. Note only the front fork was done, I am happy with the rear shock and it is stock The front brakes lacked strong feel on the stock bike so they were upgraded to steel braided lines and HH Pads. All components are from Galfer. The dealer also did this install. Included is the rear braided brake line and upgraded pads but they are not installed.Tail Tidy - This cleans up the rear of the motorcyle nicely and includes an LED taillightGenuine Suzuki windscreen - It's small, looks decent and really helps the wind blast on the highway.IXIL L2X Hyperlow Slip on Exhaust - The V-twin on this bike sounds great and the IXIL makes it sound even better without being totally obnoxious. I get complements from guys on other bikes for how great the bike sounds. Keep in mind if this is not for you I have the stock exhaust (which weighs significantly more too). Lithium Battery - I love these because they are much lighter, can't leak and hardly require a battery tender as a Lithium battery is very slow to discharge.Air Filter was replaced at 5000miles with a BMC which can be cleaned versus replaced. The asking price is very reasonable for this bike, I like to give people a good deal and have both sides feel good about the sale.Take a look at the other SFV650s being sold by some dealers and you will find them significantly higher. Up for sale is my 82 GS1100EZ, come and ride this bike home this weekend! This is the one of the best bikes you'll find for the price, needs nothing except for tires next spring! The pictures don't give this bike a justice, the bike looks far better in person, just repainted the original color! This bike is ready to rock and roll, turn the key, hit the button and ride, no BS on this bike. These motors were quite overbuilt and handle anything you throw at them. Over the past year I've fixed/upgraded quite a bit to get it running as best it can. The bike also recently passed inspection without any issues. The list includes: -Carb sync and cleaning -Stage 3 Dynojet Jet Kit -K&N Air Pod Filters -KG High Performance Clutch Springs -New Clutch Cable -New Throttle Cable -New Fork Seals and Fork Oil -NGK Iridium IX Spark plugs -Rick's Motorsport Hotshot Rectifier/Regulator -I've switched it over to 20W-50 oil -New Battery as of summer 2015 -New OEM starter clutch -New FBG Clutch fibers and Steel Plates -Steel Braided Brake Lines all around All work was done by a professional, I've got all the service records to go along with it as well. When I bought the bike it had the Vance and Hines 4-1 pipe on it, unfortunately I don't have the original exhaust. No test pilots or tire kickers. The Tank, Front Fender and Rear Cowling were repainted the original champagne color about 3 weeks ago, and it turned out stunning. This bike has the more desirable 83 gauge setup, with the 140mph speedometer. The oil gauge isn't currently working, however the gauge in there is brand new OEM, so is the oil sensor, so it must be an issue with the wiring. Aside from that, everything on the bike is fully functional. This auction is for a 2009 Suzuki SFV650. The bike runs. We took photos of the bike and its damage. This bike was a theft recovery. The ignition system has been bypassed and its missing some of the plastic fairing pieces. The exhaust also looks to be tampered with, please see the pictures with the welding. We do our best to describe any damage so If you have any questions please feel free to ask and inspections are welcome. Mileage on the title shows 1674as we could not power up the speedometer at the time it was titled. This motorcycle is sold as is with no guarantee or warranty. We have done our best to describe the motorcycle so if you have any questions at all, please contact us first before bidding or buying. We do not guarantee that the battery will be charged, most of the motorcycles we handle have dead or dying batteries and require a battery to start. We have a California Salvage certificate on this motorcycle, that including a bill of sale will be given in case of export to another country. We can arrange to have the motorcycle crated and delivered to port for export for an additional cost. If the vehicle is to be registered in California, we are obligated to turn the salvage certificate in to DMV and they issue the bike a number referred to as an Acquisition number. This number on a bill of sale will be given to the buyer. We are also obligated to collect sales tax on the vehicle at the time of sale. This process takes 7-10 working days to complete. 2013 Suzuki SFV650 Gladius- 1,650 miles - $5500 (San Juan Capistrano)For sale is my 2013 Suzuki SFV650, which is the same bike as the Gladius and the same motor & transmission as the V Strom 650. It has 1,650 miles. I have decided I would like to be able to increase my rides to about 300-400 miles when I go out. So I'm looking for a full fairing motorcycle. I got this bike just for short trips across the Ortega 74 highway and up PCH. If I'm able to sell it before I find exactly what I want, then I will. If not, I will trade it in or just keep it. I'm not in a rush.First service completed after proper break in procedure at 600 miles.Throttle bodies were synchronized at 1,000 miles.Chain was cleaned, lubed, measured, adjusted and lined up at 1,000 miles.Brake fluid was flushed at 1,000 Miles.All bolts and fasteners tightened to spec at 1,000 miles.Installed items are: SW Motech Full Crash Bars ($225), Comfort Grips ($10), Rear Paddock Stand Spool Kit ($20), Givi Fly Screen ($154), Stainless Steel License Plate Frame ($15), IXIL Hyperlow exhaust (sounds excellent) ($257).Included with sale will be: Front and Rear stands. (I plan on having a center stand on the next bike, so I doubt I will need them). I also have the original exhaust and it will also be included in case you don't like the IXIL exhaust.I have some other items available for separate sale, not included with the bike. Factory OEM Gel Seat paid $322, Luggage rack and brackets paid $216. I would sell them at ½ off if you're interested.I have just paid the registration and I have a clear title in my name. I am not looking for vehicle trades, except maybe a 2013 or newer Burgman 400 with ABS (I used to have one and I could use it for commuting). I was planning on buying a toolbox and I might be open to a partial trade on the bike only if you have the following: Snapon Snap on KRL Master or possibly epiq series. I prefer a red one, other colors may be considered. Most of the used ones I have seen in good condition go for about $2,000-$2,500. So that is the range I would consider if you happen to have one that is in very good to excellent condition.I was notified that there is a recall that has affected all V strom 650, SFV650 and Burgman 650’s of 2012-2014 model years. Dealer said it would take 1 day usually, and it’s fully covered by Suzuki. I am a technician and a perfectionist. So I don’t want anyone working on my bikes, except me. I would recommend riding it till it has more than 2,500 miles. Most likely it’s just an inspection, but if you take it in with less miles than that they don’t check, they just replace parts. Most of the bikes that have gone in don’t need anything. So it’s up to you. I wanted to be up front about it. If the bike is purchased and paid for in full, I can take it to the dealer and have it done before you pick it up if you like.
