Runs and rides great. Four into two exhaust. Clean gas tank. New tires (Dunlops...$400 last year). New front brake pads installed last spring & rear brake shoes have plenty of pad left (checked when new tires installed). New seat cover installed this year. Padded sissy bar/backrest and sissy bar bag included with purchase. Also have quick release windscreen that will come with sale of the motorcycle. With 20588 miles (and counting), this vintage motorcycle is in excellent original condition for being 37 years old. Priced below NADA & Kelley Blue Book values. Honda of Japan introduced the CB750 motorcycle to the US and European markets in 1969 after experiencing success with their smaller motorcycles. The bike was targeted directly at the US market. Under development for a year, the CB750 offered two unprecedented features, a front disc brake and a transverse straight-4 engine with an overhead cam, neither of which was previously available on a mainstream, affordable production bike. These two features, along with the introductory price of US$1,495, gave the CB750 a considerable advantage over its competition, particularly its British rivals. Cycle magazine called the CB750 "the most sophisticated production bike ever" upon its introduction. Cycle World called it a masterpiece, highlighting Honda's painstaking durability testing, the bike's 120 mph (190 km/h) top speed, and the fade-free performance of the braking, the comfortable ride and excellent instrumentation. The Discovery Channel ranked the Honda CB750 third among the top ten greatest motorbikes of all time.

1979 Honda CB750K. Original bike. I purchased this bike from the original owner who bought it in August of 1978. He rode the bike all over the USA and out to the 1980 Olymic Games in Lake Placid!! Pretty cool. This bike has the period correct Vetter Winjammer Faitring and the correct Kutter Luggage units. It also has a custom made leather King/Queen seat with CB750 hand stitched into it. The bike was stored in the owners heated garage and had a full fuel tank with Stabil in it. It only put a new battery in the bike and it started right up. It runs and rides pretty good and even the tires look pretty good. I would recommend a tune up for optimal performance. I have priced the bike so that the buyer can get a good deal and have room to tune it up and do things to it. Brakes are good but sticky from sitting. Chain and sprockets look excellent. Rims are original and rust free. Spokes are rust free too. I have the original seat to the bike and it is included in the sale price. Here is an opportunity to own a nice 35 year old Honda CB750. Please feel free to ask any questions. Tom 517-403-2679 PAYMENT: PAY PAL ONLY. PLEASE HAVE AN ACTIVE PAY PAL ACCOUNT BEFORE YOU BID!!! $500 NON-REFUNDABLE EARNEST DEPOSIT IS DUE WITHIN 24 HOURS AND THE BALANCE IS DUE WHEN I SEND YOU THE INVOICE. I WILL SEND YOU AN INVOICE ON PAY PAL FOR THE REMAINING BALANCE. Thanks. PLEASE ASK ALL OF YOUR QUESTIONS PRIOR TO BIDDING. PLEASE EXAMINE ALL PICTURES CLOSELY AND DETERMINE FOR YOURSELF IF YOU ARE SATISFIED WITH WHAT THE BIKE LOOKS LIKE. THE PICS WERE TAKEN TODAY, ON OCT.23, 2014. ALSO, PLEASE REQUEST ANY ADDITIONAL PICS IF YOU NEED TO SEE ANY CERTAIN PART CLOSER. THANK YOU. SHIPPING: YOU, THE BUYER, MUST MAKE YOUR OWN SHIPPING ARRANGEMENTS AND PAY FOR YOUR SHIPPING OR PICK UP THE BIKE YOURSELF. Up for sale is a 1979 Honda CB750K, The first year for the Dual overhead cam CB750. The miles are unknown because of the gauges have been changed. Please look over pictures to view condition of this vintage Honda. The bike starts up and runs good, shifts good, stops good, At this time all lights are working, Horn does not. It has one mismatching side cover but all tabs are intact. The bike runs real strong and the engine is solid and smooth. The carburetors have not been jetted for the exhaust change so it will sputter at certain throttle position and RPM's. I found it to be less noticeable if I removed the muffler and drove it that way. It was a bit loud for me that way though. Also if you didn't crank the throttle as much if would zip right down the road without missing a beat. Jetting could be changed for optimal performance. The needle on the tachometer is broken but it does function. These were replacement gauges purchased off eBay, the original gauges were missing. This would be a good bike for someone whether they want to restore, ride, cafe, bob, or whatever with it. The motorcycle is located in Shelbyville MI 49344 and I am willing to work with long distance buyers who need time to arrange pick-up or a shipper. Please note that payment is needed in a timely manor.

For sale is a VERY CLEAN 1978 Honda CB 750K. This CB is in great running shape, and needs nothing but a driver to get it on the road. Fires right up every time, has a strong idle, stops on a dime, tires are in great condition, and exhaust sounds good. This bike was owned by a mechanic for the past 15 years who took incredibly good care of it and put less than 3K miles on it during that time. It has always been garage kept and had regular tunes ups/fluid changes. The chrome really POPS on this bike, and it always turns heads. The fairings are factory, and in excellent condition, only needing the decal and emblem. The tank has some peeling on the clear coat (pictured), but has no scratches or rust (inside or out). All lighting, gauges and electricals work perfectly. Seat is also in good condition, no rips or tears. STILL HAS ORIGINAL TOOL SET AND OWNERS MANUAL! Clean Kansas title in hand. I have owned many CB's over the years, and this is the most mechanically sound CB I've had. It is a great bike and could be ridden home, just in time for this beautiful Spring weather! Buyer is responsible for arranging shipping or Local pickup in the Kansas City metro area. I can deliver within 100 miles of KC for a fee. Feel free to call or message me for details. Thanks! This bike came to us from an estate auction in Pennsylvania and was presented to us as being completely original. The yellow paint is still on the nuts and bolts. The bike is in near showroom condition, except for a couple of cosmetic issues that we would normally address (i.e. some minor rust on the wheels and spokes and a hairline crack in the left side cover) but we decided to leave it untouched and let the next owner decide if they wanted to address those cosmetic issues or leave it original. The bike has it's original set of HM 341 pipes, baffles and mufflers in very good condition with minor pitting, but no holes top or bottom. This bike was ridden regularly and well maintained by the previous owner and is ready to ride today, with new tires recently installed, a POR-15 sealed fuel tank and rebuilt carbs. All of the electronics work including the electric starter button, directional signals, horn, and directional buzzer. The charging system works great and maintains the battery power at 12.5V. This bike looks great, runs great and would be a perfect addition to anyone's collection. Warning: This bike will draw a crowd where ever you go! We are also offering this bike for sale locally, so we reserve the right to cancel this advertisement at any time. Please contact us if you have any questions.

TIMS has a roadrace ready 1975 honda cb 550/4 for sale--it was built for endurance racing ( has a headlight and tail/brake light that can be turned on or off)--this bike was built and endurance roadraced by a friend of mine back in the day--he decided to pull it out of his closet after 10 plus years and let me and my crew bring it up to roadrace readiness--we cleaned the carbs, changed the oil and put a new battery in it and it fired right up, and we took it to barber vintage fest when we raced back in october and took it for a few laps around the track during practice sessions --the bike ran great( wailed down the straightaways at 10k rpm) and handled extremely well and is ready for someone to take her out and race it again--it has a yoshimira 553 piston kit with 11/1 compression, yoshimira roadrace cams, cb 750 carburetors (30mm) and velocity stacks with a ported and polished head and stainless steel valves with heavy duty valve springs--it has really cool lester old school mag wheels, a brembo front master cylinder , 4/1 competition header and gp body work with a 1st class paint job--it does have the starter and alternator still in place so it could actually be converted to a street bike if you desire although its at home on the tracks and is eligable for ahrma, wera or endurance racing circuits--im also including a spare set of carbs and a freshly bored out cylinder with new pistons and a spare set of tires to go with it--TIMS will assist with shipping at new owners expense --
