I have a very nice 1998 kx500 for sale. I do not have a title, but bike will come with bill of sale. The bike is in very good shape, and has lots of extras. The engine performs flawlessly. The head was done by adam millar of millar racing engines. The squish is modified( corrects factory flaw causing detonation), also has decompression valve installed, which make starting this bike a breeze. Bike also has vforce 2 custom reedcage done by adam millar, with machined aluminum built in spacer, which also prevents reed screws from backing out. Bike still has original clutch in it, and has absolutely no slip. I have an ims oversized tank which comes with the bike. I just recently(within 2 months) sent the suspension off to racetech. suspension was completely rebuilt, with new springs for my weight. The suspenson is setup for 225-240lb rider.(I have the receipts). Also, the bike has brand new stealth rear sprocket, sunstar front sprocket, and did gold ert2 chain with 1 ride on them. Bike also has acerbis handguards, and pro moto billet kickstand. Also has works connection frame guards, and works connection rear caliper guard. The bike also has brand new fmf gnarly desert header with 2 rides on it, and has a turbine core silencer. Bike also has a skid plate. Nothing on the bike is bent or broken. Front fender is an 09 kx450f fender, and rear is a 92-93 kx250 rear. I also have an extra set of brand new green side panels, black radiator shrouds, black front fender, black rear fender, original white side plates, and green plastic as well. Kawasaki KX500 2004 Rare, not too many of these come up for sale. Going into retirement and moving into smaller living quarters, so several of my bikes must go. I’m the 2nd owner. I would love to keep this machine. This bike was acquired from the original owner, older gentlemen (older than me LOL!) that rode it in the forest a few times. The bike was completely detailed and gone through. Any part that was oxidized or rusted was replaced with Kawasaki OEM. JD Jetting. The Bore is original. The engine was compression checked just to verify it was within specification. The engine was detailed on the outside. The sprockets and chain were fine, but I like to upgrade to some serious quality stuff. The fork seals had been recently replaced and oil changed. The suspension is stock. The bike was tested and it runs fantastic and handles like a dream. The rims and hubs were good and true and the tires are good. FMF Gnarly pipe and silencer is in great shape with no dents. Linkage was dissembled, cleaned and lubed. Brake system flushed and I’m using Silicone 5 fluid. Works Connection frame guards The bike looks and runs excellent. Ready to Ride, Race, Collect. Bike has been kept inside my home in a climate controlled environment. Close to $10K in investment. What a great machine. I now know why there is almost a cult-like following of these bikes. I have my 1999 Kawasaki KX500 for sale. This bike runs excellent. It idles perfect. It had a new Wiseco Pro Lite piston kit installed less than 20 hours ago. Has a FMF Gnarly Pipe and Powercore silencer. Boyesen RAD valve. Great condition Dunlop MX51 tires. Fairly new O ring Chain and both sprockets. Nothing leaks. Suspension was done by MX Tech front and rear. Front and rear springs replaced also seals and bushings. I have all the old springs and removed parts from the forks and shocks. Has IMS Pro series foot pegs. Works Connection Frame Guards. Spokes are tight, rims run true. Exhaust does not leak, all mounting points are in great shape. Has a skid plate. Frame has not been bottomed out or repaired. Has Renthal Fatbars. Clutch works great. Bike starts easy for a 500. 1-3 kicks cold and 1 kick after running. I have the great condition original green seat that is included, also the original front fender. Gears all work as they should. All bolts are where they are supposed to be and all accounted for. Amsoil only in the trans. Never in MUD. Ok, here is the other stuff: I bought this as new on ebay years ago, however it was never ridden and kept in some humid climate. There were minor specks of rust on the lower fork legs (which got replaced), some of the bolts on the engine and suspension were somewhat discolored. Some have been replaced, some haven't. Some of the spokes are somewhat discolored as well. The bike presents very well, I get a lot of comments on it when visitors come. Upon redoing the whole bike to my taste with all the goodies mentioned above, well I took her out and hit a tree, I guess I was not really ready for all this power. As a result, the plastics got scratched, bent the rear subframe, took a small chunk out of the seat, and bent the r/s footpeg along with the r/s radiator and bars. I replaced the subframe, and got a chineese radiator for the r/s (doesn't fit right). I'm not some guy who needs cash, and am totally honest not like other ebayers. The bike is and has been ready to ride/race, is it perfect? No, could it be, sure! Nothing besides the r/s footpeg is bent now, there was no fork damage or frame or rear suspension, ex. etc. Engine/trans is PERFECT! And when I say 2 hrs, yep it's real! This Dirtbike was completely disassembled, all paint removed from every part. The frame was repainted with JP1, the sub frame and swingarm are aluminum and have been polished. Each and every nut, bolt, washer, shim, seal, and bearing was inspected, cleaned and if needed replaced. The engine was rebuilt, replacing transmission bearings, main bearings, all seals and gaskets. Replaced clutch with steel plates, installed new cylinder sleeve, new piston, bearing, rod and clips. (Wiseco stock size), polished head. Polished clutch cover. Carburetor rebuilt and has stock jets. Also has Boyesen Reeds. Exhaust pipe is a polished FMF GOLD SERIES with new seals and mounting springs and DG silencer..... Shock and forks rebuilt with all new seals and bushings. . . Selling my sons 2013 Kawasaki KX250F motocross bike in excellent condition. Has only 6.3 ORIGINAL hours on it including the 1 hour break in time. Hour meter was installed prior to first start. This bike was purchased July of 2013 and field/trail ridden not raced! The dirt bike was ridden so little due to my son breaking his back from football. It hasn't been ridden since last fall (2014). It is very clean with some very minor wear and tear, scratches and scuffs from riding on trails with tree branches. Has had 2 oil changes using Kawasaki oil and filter, 1 at the one hour break in period and one at 6 hours. Also changed the antifreeze to Engine Ice for better cooling. It has a UNI air filter on it, Pro Taper grips with grip donuts, and ASV Unbreakable clutch and brake levers. I have the clean tittle, owners manual, triangle stand, tool kit, and 3 map connectors.
