Moto Guzzi : Eldorado Moto Guzzi Eldorado 850

This is a unrestored completely original Eldorado. The paint is in very good condition with all of the original markings intact, pinstripes as well. The exhaust headers and Lafranconi mufflers are new. The solo seat is a Police style and included is the 2 up seat with the original very good condition factory vinyl but with new foam, done by the Seat Guy in Chicago. The clutch is new using the deep spline style. The rack is a Police style made by Greg Bender, everything else is pretty standard and original. The new windshield is mounted using Harpers mounts and works wonderfully. I am currently riding the bike around the U.S. so the mileage will reflect that. I will be riding the bike to Vintage Days at Barber In October from Miami. The bike has been privately owned over the last 20 years and stored in a climate controlled environment. The mileage was around 13,000 when I bought it. I have gotten it rode worthy and have been riding it since. It is really is one of the nicest original Eldorado's I have seen.

1972 Moto Guzzi 850 with very rare front fairing. This bike has heavy duty thick spoke wheels and brakes. It has hard bags in rear and big cylinder heads. From a little research we believe it to be a GT 850 California Police model but cannot confirm that you will need to be the judge. Engine numbers are VP50492 which makes us believe that it is a California Police model; however, it does not have the Police gage package?? The motorcycle was running when it was parked but has been a number of years since it has been running. The engine is not frozen, we moved engine forward and back ~ 15 degrees but the cylinders should be removed and inspected. The tires will need to be replaced due to dry rot, battery needs replace, carb should be rebuilt etc... This bike is being sold for my brother in-law. He has clear title in hand. This bike is sold as is where is. This will be a wonderful bike for this coming summer with a little work. 1978 Moto Guzzi T3 If you are someone who likes to be different, this is the bike for you. This is a Mad Max, brat style motorcycle. This bike is in excellent mechanical condition and you will not need to work on it (unless something breaks). It is ready to ride. I purchased this bike in 2003 and drove it for many years in basically “stock” condition. In 2012, I “rebuilt” this motorcycle myself, all except for the motor and transmission. Here are some things that I rebuilt/replaced during the rebuild: • Rebuilt Calipers/ New Pads (3 discs) • New Clutch • Rebuilt Carbs • New Cables • Rewired + Modern Fuses • New Tires • New K&N Filters • New bars • +More At this same time, the bike took on the look it has now. It was basic black before this, and stock everything. It did not look anything like it does now. I would be happy to provide some before pictures. I sent the wheels and a few brackets out to be black powder coated, but I painted everything else myself. The seat was redone professionally about a year ago. This is a TRULY UNIQUE bike and gathers a crowd wherever it goes. Notice the floorboards that are made from a flywheel from an unknown vehicle (car). In the pictures, you will also see cool and unique embellishments over the entire bike. The “RHYTHM/TREBLE” switch on the headlight is from a Gibson Les Paul guitar. It is the dim and bright switch (or both in the middle). As you can see, this bike has no gauges except for the oil pressure gauge mounted directly on the motor. It has Guzzi specific highway pegs from Harper Moto Guzzi. Also from Harper, the pull out dipstick. The coils, wires, and plugs were replaced recently. Also, Murphy’s Law presented itself when I decided to sell and the battery suddenly died. I replaced the battery the same day I am writing this and the pictures were also taken same day (9/27/2016). The bike comes with two or three tubs full of spare and old parts from years past. The bike is not super fast, but it is not slow either. When new, this model was rated at 69 horsepower if I remember correctly. I am 6’1” and 180 pounds and the bike has been great for me for 12 years. The bike is not loud, but it is not “stock” quiet. It is a perfect in between by my standards, but you can of course make it louder. I am only selling because my wife and I got a new Moto Guzzi that is more fitting for our lifestyle now (big cruiser). I thought I would never sell this bike, but it is time. With that said, I am not in a hurry to sell. If you are new to Moto Guzzis, I can give you all of the info you need for parts and/or repair. The bike comes with a Haynes manual. This Moto Guzzi is a standard Eldorado, not an 850GT (which had chromed fenders and a double-sided twin-leading-shoe front brake). Seat is an aftermarket item, pretty common and . Paint is not original. Tank has been stripped and Mufflers look stock. Low mileage could be good, the bike hasn't been sitting too long, IF the engine turns over freely and the transmission will run through the gears. Might be worth a little more if you can get it started and running normally. Obviously worth less if the engine or tranny is stuck. All in all, it could be restored with time, effort and money.
