What a great Christmas gift if you have a very serious young racer. This bike is so trick and one of a kind, you will never see a sweeter 150 anywhere period. This bike will only increase in value over time since BBR is no longer making custom frames and is built to beat any race bike in the 85 class. We bought it in Alabama, my daughter raced it all around Texas (beating boys consistently) and qualified for Loretta Lynn's on it twice. She outgrew it, moved up to a 250 at 16 years old and now it’s my super sweet pit bike. It pains me to see this bike not being used as we built it to race and perform. We have had so many great memories riding and racing this bike. BBR Perimeter frame for the Honda Crf150RB (#59 of 79 built) Made from 6061 Aluminum, this heat-treated, hand-built Perimeter Frame Kit is lighter and stronger than the stock frame. This frame kit was precision-crafted by BBR's top fabricators and once again raises the bar for quality and performance. The computer-designed frame provides increased lateral stiffness which translates into more precise tracking and improved cornering. High-strength aluminum radiators have been designed to lower the center of gravity creating better balance and maneuverability. • CNC machined billet head-tube, side spars, shock tower, frame cradle and motor mounts * BBR Aluminum Perimeter Frame Honda CRF 150RB Custom polished ($3995) * BBR High-strength, high-flow, low profile aluminum radiators (by Fluidyne) ($265) * BBR Custom low-profile Fuel Tank, 1.25 gallons capacity($250) * BBR Red Aluminum Engine mounts ($190) * BBR Billet Aluminum Kick Starter ($225) * BBR engine case chain guard ($115) * BBR lower linkage system ($350) * BBR handlebar risers for 1 1/8" bars ($135) * BBR folding gold series shifter (65) * BBR billet gas cap ($65) 2007 Honda CRF 150RB Motor * Engine rebuilt by Honda of Houston Race team * Race Prep by Honda of Houston (has about 20-25 hours since last race prep, new crank, etc) * Wiseco1mm oversized high compression piston * OEM crank, new timing chain, Stage One Hot Cam * CSV Red Radiator hoses * Hinson Machined Billet Aluminum engine cover ($550) * Hinson Clutch cover & basket * Boysen High Performance Water Pump and cover * R&D Flexjet adjustable fuel delivery system * FMF Mega Bomb Titanium header (Ceramic Coated by Jet Hot coating) * FMF Factory 4.1 RCT muffler system (has one dent on top of end cap) * Pro Circuit dip stick * Works Connection engine dress up kit. * Twin Air filter setup * Lightspeed Carbon Fiber skid plate * Fresh Decal Works custom plastics and graphics * Excel Wheels (Black), HD Spokes, Rad Hubs (red) This is a big wheel (RB or Expert) size * Dunlop MX-51 tires front and rear * Mika Metals Rear sprocket * Mike Metals gold chain Suspension * Front Marzocchi 44mm Forks ($2200) * Marzocchi top and bottom billet triple clamps * Fox Podium RC2 Racing rear shock ($750) * OEM Honda CRF150RB swingarm * OEM Honda rear subframe (Ceramic Coated by Jet Hot coating) * Suspension setup by Honda of Houston Race Team for 120 lb rider Controls * Mika Metals Pro Series Mini High Bend bars * Joker Billet Quick Turn (1/4 turn) throttle * Pro Taper Pillow Top grips * ASV F3 series levers * EBC oversized front brake kit * Brand New Core Moto Stainless Steel braided brake lines * Removable foot-peg brackets * Pro Circuit Billet Aluminum rear brake pedal * Pro Circuit Titanium Foot Pegs There are a few small blemishes pictured, (very minor) one nick on the right side of the frame, one dent on the top of the muffler end cap. The black outer edges of the rims are shiny where we have used a tire machine to change tires at the races, otherwise they are straight and sweet. This bike has been very well maintained like we do all of our bikes. I love this bike and really hate to sell it but it deserves to be raced and shown off by a proud young rider. If it doesn't sell I will continue to enjoy it. There has been more than $15k invested in this bike over time and it cannot be replaced or recreated again for anything close to that amount. Buy it now or make me a great offer. I have used RL Carriers to crate and ship my bikes port to port in the past for races and they are the best to use by far in my opinion. BBR does not title their custom frames so there is no title on this bike. I have copies of bill of sale and motor title from the person I bought it from. Feel free to send me any questions that you have.

Up for sale is my 2002 custom Harley Davidson Bagger with a 127 cu in motor. This is a very tastefully built bagger top to bottom, a must see bike, pictures do not do the bike justice. Stretched bags, stretched rear fender, custom front fender, air ride, 11" custom handle bars. D&D exhaust Also have street glide seat and back rest. 21 inch front wheel Custom painted Paint is stunning 3 stage orange pearl that is perfect. Bike gets tons of attention wherever it go's. Everything is new on the bike in the last 3 years. I would rate the bike a 10 out of 10. Zero flaws though out. Bike has never been laid down or wrecked. Motor is a big 127 cu in. fuel injected fully ported and polished, huge power!!! Built by Jeff Flora in south bend Il, and Twisted Twin south haven mi. Flora racing heads, nothing but the best was done. Motor makes 144hp and 156tq with dyno sheet Bike had 14 gallons of gas ran through it on the dyno, the tune is flawless. Bike is NOT for a beginner rider or the faint of heart. It is truly Bad Ass!! Transmission has been up graded as well with close ratio gears and twist gear installed for final drive. Its best to call me for details, I cant list all of them. Sorry there will be no test rides, until founds are in hand. Only reason for selling is just not riding enough, I may have 300 miles on the new motor and trans. Miles are 32,000 on bike. 300 miles on build I have over $40,000 in the bike, it is a great deal at $25,000. Clear title in hand, I will consider ? If you would like to talk to a real person before you Buy it Now, Please feel free to call us at 502-863-0920 ***New Year's Sale No Haggle Price: $2,999 - Normally: $3,799***We understand that the deal on this bike may seem "a little to good to be true", however we are simply trying to reduce inventory before tax time. Feel free to call if you have any questions. (In order to complete the transaction for the price point advertised, the machine MUST be paid for in full by 3pm EST on Saturday Dec. 31st) About US:As you can see by our feedback we are very honest sellers. Buying a bike online can be scary. You'll notice in a lot of ads there is very little description and very few pictures. In our ads you get all the details, both good and bad. In addition you are always welcome to come check this machine out and ride/inspect it for yourself before the auction ends to ensure your happiness. However, if you are unable to do so, we guarantee your happiness with this: If you win, get here and find that we have misrepresented it in any way you can walk away without paying a dime and with no fear of bad feedback. We are easy to work with and easy to reach by phone or email. While we are a dealership, we are a small business owned by real people with real families. If you decide to buy, please read the entire listing first and take the buying process seriously. Retracting bids or not following through with a purchase has a very negative effect on us. Thank you for looking at our machine. Motorcycle: This is a very nice 2004 Honda Shadow Spirit 1100. Honda's line of Shadows are some of the most popular cruisers on the road. Thoroughly modern performance is courtesy of the 1099cc V-twin engine, specially tuned for low-revving torque, and maintenance-reducing features like a shaft driven final drive. Best of all, the Spirit is a huge bargain, giving you a big-bike ride without the big-bike price. It also pays when it comes time to fill up, too. Great overall performance while still staying very fuel efficient. If you're ready to turn some heads in a big way, and appreciate a bike that's never going to go out of style, the Honda Spirit is the machine for you. Cruisers should be about getting out and having fun, not about maintenance headaches. That's why the Spirit's shaft driven final drive makes so much sense. Clean, virtually maintenance-free, and efficient; it's the smart choice. No more chains to adjust, lube, and then break. One piece aluminum wheels also keep you on the street longer. No spokes to loosen or bend and no tubes to worry about. The Spirit features a dual exhaust system, offering a more traditional V-Twin rumble. The result is a soul-stirring sound that's classic V-twin cruiser, making the Spirit a bike that sounds as good as it looks. In addition to everything that makes this bike truly amazing, it also has a full windshield, saddle bags, highway bars, and a sissy bar. These not only add to the overall styling of the bike, but they also add some creature comfort. This Shadow is one of the nicest riding machines on the road. Smooth power, comfortable ergonomics, and all the legendary quality of a Honda. What more could you really ask for? Of course it does come with a clean title. Condition: This bike is in great condition and comes 100% ready to ride right out of the showroom. It has 13,803 miles. The engine is perfect and fires immediately. It revs perfectly and runs great with no misses, noises, leaks, or smoke. The wheels look great and the tires still have plenty of tread left. Not much to say on condition. It looks very nice with a couple of minor blemishes on the front fender. At the very front of the fender, there's three small scratches, one on the right side, one on the left side, and one right in the center. We have even provided pictures below so that you can see exactly what they look like. They are purely cosmetic and do not affect any function of this bike. Other then the fender scratches, this machine is very nice and seems to have been well care for and maintained. Someone is going to get a GREAT machine for a great price. Everything on it functions exactly as it should. A new 2016 Honda Sabre or Stateline (Honda canceled the Shadow 1100 in 2008 after a 23yr run) would cost you $9999 plus tax and fees. This is your chance to save a bundle and still get an amazing motorcycle. Fees"Other than applicable sales tax, are there any other fees associated with this purchase?" - The only other fee that we add to the purchase of this machine is a $69 documentation fee. This is to help cover the cost of registering machines within the proper channels, having titles made for KY residents, and processing the necessary paperwork to make your purchase legal and secure. What to expect upon purchaseShould you be kind enough to purchase a machine from us, we do require a $200 deposit through PayPal within 24 hours. This is to help protect us from fraudulent buyers, children without parental permission, or any other similar situation. It also lets us know that you're a serious customer who plans on following through with your purchase. After completing the PayPal deposit, please contact us to provide information and plans such as full name, address, phone number, plus shipping or pick-up arrangements. This will help provide you a timely and painless transaction. Shipping: We do not provide shipping, but many of our customers have had great luck lately with www.uship.com You can post your shipping requests there and let shippers bid on them. I will be happy to work with your shipper within reason to make it go smoothly for you.Attention "Dealers"We don't mind if you want to buy one of our units for resale, we know they are good deals. However, we are not a wholesaler and we do have to charge sales tax the same as if you are a retail customer. If you are a licensed powersports dealer that's one thing, otherwise we will have to charge sales tax as outlined below. Please keep this in mind when considering placing bids on our items. If you have any questions or concerns about whether or not you should or shouldn't have to pay sales tax, PLEASE call us before bidding. Details: Overall this is a very nice Motorcycle that will make someone very happy. No games here, it will sell. Our preference is that you pick this machine up with cash in person, but we will also accept a certified check or bank to bank wire transfer. It MUST be paid for (not necessarily picked up) within 7 days of the auctions close. We are willing to ship it but you must make the arrangements. If you pick this motorcycle up in person we are required to collect sales tax from residents of the following states: Michigan, Indiana, California, Arizona, Florida, Massachusetts, South Carolina and Washington. If you have it delivered to you, anywhere outside of Kentucky, you do not have to pay Kentucky sales tax but may still have to pay sales tax in your home state. If it ships, it must be paid in full first. This machine comes with a clean title that is ready to transfer. It will also come with a bill of sale and proof of being lien free. You are welcome to inspect it as long and well as you like before finalizing the deal, but it is used and sells as-is. Thanks and happy bidding.Canadian Bidders:We sell many bike's to Canada because it saves you a lot of money. We know the paperwork requirements and what it takes to get it done. However, it is very expensive to have a bike shipped from door to door due to customs broker fees. If you pick it up yourself or have it shipped to a border town and do your own border crossing you will save thousands vs buying in Canada. We also have a shipper we can direct you to who has many warehouses along the border where it can be shipped to and stored until you pick it up. Feel free to bid or shoot us an email for more details. We are also OK with this machine being exported anywhere else as long as you are handling the shipping. We respond to email questions quickly but you may also contact us at MLS POWERSPORTS Georgetown, KY 40324 1-502-863-0920 SCROLL DOWN TO VIEW LARGE PHOTOS

2016 Suzuki DR-Z400SM The Suzuki DR-Z400SM is a street legal bike for serious dirt bike enthusiasts on pavement roads. It's not uncommon to take the SuperMoto down twisty forest trails as well as tight canyon corners. Its 398cc liquid-cooled, four-stroke engine provides strong low-rpm torque and crisp throttle response for any of these occasions. The key difference from the DR-Z400SM and the DR-Z400S are the inverted forks. Inverted front forks contributes to less unsprung weight and improved overall handling. The SuperMoto also comes with wider rims and stickier tires than the dual-purpose 400S.Features may include:Suzuki's Supermotard model based on proven DR-Z400S - combines Supermotard style and features in a narrow, lightweight street-legal package.Lightweight 398cc, DOHC, liquid-cooled, dry-sump engine produces strong, tractable power.Compact 4-valve cylinder head with 36mm intake valves, 29mm exhaust valves, narrow 28-degree included valve angle and shim-under-bucket valve adjustment system.Simple electric starting via a lightweight starter motor and an automatic mechanical decompression system.SCEM-plated cylinder (nickel-silicon-phosphorous) is lighter and more durable than an iron liner with excellent heat transfer properties.Forged aluminum piston is 10 percent lighter than a cast piston and receives additional oil-cooling to the piston crown through a crankcase oil jet.Smooth throttle response with a Mikuni™ 36mm carburetor fed by 6-liter air box. The left side cover has quick-release fasteners for easy access to the air filter.Thermostatically controlled cooling fan mounted to the left radiator helps maintain consistent operating temperature in traffic.Additional weight savings with magnesium valve cover, clutch cover, and magneto cover.Compact 5-speed transmission utilizes a cable-operated clutch with separate outer cover for simplified clutch maintenance.Low-maintenance, long-life sealed O-ring type drive chain produces minimal sounds when riding.Wide, gold-anodized RK Excel aluminum rims with stainless steel spokes are fitted with sporty radial tires: 120/70-R17 front & 140/70-R17 rear.Strong braking performance is supplied by a front disc brake with a large 300mm floating-type rotor and dual-piston caliper, plus a 240mm rear disc brake with single-piston caliper.Long travel, SHOWA inverted front fork is derived from a RM250 and features adjustable compression/rebound damping and alumite coating on inner tube surfaces for smooth action.A fully adjustable rear shock absorber with high/low speed compression damping adjuster and a tapered RM-inspired aluminum swingarm combine for precise rear wheel control.Renthal tapered aluminum handlebar has an aggressive look, reduces vibration and has a great bend for spirited riding.Chrome-moly steel frame tuned for Supermoto style riding is torsionally strong with minimal weight. The backbone tube, front down tube, and steering head gussets form the dry-sump engine oil tank.A bolt-on aluminum subframe helps reduce weight, simplify maintenance and contributes to the trim rear fender appearance. Selling my 2007 Moto Guzzi Breva v1100 with 2100 original miles. The bike runs as new, mechanically flawless. The bike is anthracite grey and one of the coolest looking naked tourers out there. I replaced stock mirrors with Aprilia Dorsoduro mirrors with much better visibility. In case if you never ridden big block Breva or Norge (same motorcycle but with fairing), it is fantastic bike for both seasoned and novice biker alike. Nimble, with low center of gravity, wide handle bars, linear supply of loads of torque across all power bands, intoxicating sound. Upright riding position for relaxed ride while enjoying surroundings. Large tank combined with excellent MPG (I average around 47mpg mixed town/highway) gives a range of nearly 300 miles between fill-ups. Stock Metzeller tires are great with excellent grip and stopping power. The seat is one of the most comfortable stock saddles I’ve ever seen; It is approx. 30” from ground, and average height rider will not have a trouble to flat foot. I am 6’ tall and flat foot with slight bend in my knees. The bike has never been in an accident and never been down. The PA DMV mistakenly put original list price of $12490 from first issued AZ title instead of mileage. Too much hassle to get this corrected, so just be aware of this. The bike is missing passenger foot peg. Terms of sale: All sales are final. Sold as is, where is. No warranty – expressed or implied. Winning bidder agrees to pay in full within seven days of the auction.

Here is the bike you need 2008 450 exc-r with all the updates, In the past 50 hrs, it has had a single sump mod and big bore [518 kit] done by thumper racing, [sent motor to them], also has recluse auto clutch with adjustable slave cylinder installed, It has throttle tamer on it to soften the hit [ it runs very strong ], last year it had the forks seals replaced and new batt. I was getting it ready to take to south Tex this month [big bend] and Moab in april, It has fresh oil, with reusable stainless steel oil filter, new front and rear tires, skid plate, I put new front and rear fenders on it for the sale, because the bags I had on it scratched the rear fender, It has turn signals and lights and is tagged, [came street legal from factory], chain and sprockets are in very good shape, I'm the second owner, about 4 yrs. I have put the last 6k miles on it [ it has about 7150 miles on it, it also has fan kit on it. It comes with a heavy spring on rear, and stock, 3.2 gal tank, and stock extra air filter, all books and manuals. THIS BIKE IS READY TO RIDE NOW. Im selling my 1990 KLR Tengai edition. In 1990 for the US market Kawasaki produced this sub model of the KLR650, it looks as though it shares alot with the standard KLR, however it has some little differences: including slightly different suspensions and forks, fairing and plastics (obviously), larger fuel tank, different ergonomics and stance, upgraded dual piston front brake caliper, the seat is shaped slightly different as well. The instruments for the day were a big improvement over the standard KLR I was told by my local Kawasaki dealer. The bike runs and rides excellent, I take very good care of it. Its got new fork seals, valve adjustments, spark plug, oil and filter, fuel filter, and im sure more im forgetting. Its a big bike when you sit on it, im 6' 1" and it feels big to me, however once you get it moving it feels very light and nimble. I seldom take it offroad other than having ridden it in my extremely large grass yard often. Its a great bike to ride any distance as its extremely comfortable and the fairing and handgaurds block quite a bit of wind, moreso than you would think they do. When I first bought the bike, I have never owned a KLR or a dual sport for years, primarily I ride sportbikes. However the rarity of this bike really appealed to me. Only a 100 or so were ever imported into the US for 1990, and it was only produced two years later available outside the US market. You definitely wont see another one. At least I havent. The bike is in very good shape overall as the pictures show, it has a few scratches from normal use, there are some small cracks in the plastics here and there, all are not easily noticeable except for a tiny piece missing on the left side cover (visible in the photographs). Also there is a plastic bottom cover that wraps under the frame, a piece of this bottom cover is missing on the shifter side, it is not noticeable at all unless you look under the bike. The handlebars have a very very slight bend to one side. It happened I was told when the bike fell over once, it never bothered me, as it is extremely slight so I never replaced them, you could easily pickup a pair of new bars for it if you chose. Lastly there is a little bit of surface rust on the frame under the battery box, where a battery must have leaked at one time. I made a video of the bike with startup on You Tube, just search: MR170578vxa Tengai And you will find it. Anyone interested is welcome to come see it in person before making an offer on it, just contact me thru ebay to do so, im sure it wont disappoint you. For this reason I am selling it AS IS, so if you are thinking of having the bike shipped, I will aid in anyway possible, however keep in mind you would be buying it sight unseen off of a few photographs and ALL SALES ARE FINAL. Once the bike leaves my hands, YOU OWN IT. I have the bike listed for sale elsewhere and this listing can end at anytime due to sale of the bike. Also I ride the bike often, mileage will change from the odometer photo im sure til its sold.

n old blacksmith once told me, when you walk around with a hammer in your hand all day, everything looks like a nail. This bike is no different. When you ride it, everything seems very doable. It's powerplant is great for inspiring a new rider, or bringing out the kid in all of us. The (2004) bike is reliable, just your like your hammer. Never left me stranded. The really awesome about this bike. It's got an amazing amount of accessories, much like one would put lipstick on a pig. I doubt you find a DR200 with as much in accessories as this one. It's a disease around this place, and somehow, we got our grubby hands on this one too! 1) Suspension: As an entry level bike, the OEM suspension was unremarkable and pogo-ie., so I upgraded both ends and what a difference it made! Front Forks have been upgraded by Racetech with Gold valves and heavier springs Rear Shock is a Works Performance unit 2) Rear Fender If you were a purist, beauty is where function meets form. That is true except when speaking of the hideous OEM rear fender. I replaced it with a more modern, MX type fender. 3) Rear Tail Light LED The rear tail light has been upgraded to LED. The following parts were usedEdge2 Tail LightDRC Edge2 Processor Upgrade Board) by 12 O'clock Labs Quote: This unit gives programmable integrated turn signals to the Edge / Edge2 tail light, as well as safety brake pulsing, a drop in replacement for the OEM led board, the unit also has brighter led's than the stock edge2 board, and is designed with 500,000 life hour capacitors for exceptionally long life operation 4) Rear Luggage Rack by ManRacks 5) Ricochet SkidPlate 6) Front Hand guards which are ProBends By Cyra and Pillow Top Grips 7) Front clutch lever is adjustable 8) Unbreakable Mirrors by Double Take 9) Power mount for a Zumo 660 (Does have a crack in the plastic, but seems to work fine) 10) Front brake line was replaced with Stainless Steel 11) Bar risers 12) After market bars with a higher bend (Protaper SE HandleBars) The not so glorious about this bike: 1) The body plastic has wear. White plastic never stays white. This one is no exception. 2) The left side gas tank has a big dent. It doesn't affect the functionality, but it's a bit of an eyesore 3) The paint has been rubbed by leg contact on the tank. The it probably doesn't matter much: 1) The previous owner(s) modified the airbox. It's suppose to allow more air in and pep up the motor. It's a DR200, I don't think it helped nor hurt the bike so I never fiddled with it 2) The same folks also modified the OEM muffler. I assume that they removed the CAT and maybe shortened it. Again, never bothered me enough to investigate it. Included in the sale is the OEM repair manual, owners manuals, my maintenance log book, and clean title. 2016 Suzuki Bandit 1250S ABSGet a grip on a whole new standard. Striking looks. Comfort. Power. You can’t break the laws of physics, but the 2016 Suzuki Bandit 1250S ABS shows that you sure can bend them. Its Suzuki fuel-injected four-cylinder engine offers thrilling acceleration in every gear, with a rush of high-rpm performance. For crisp, precise handling on twisty roads, it has balanced suspension systems front and rear. It also features a technically advanced Antilock Braking System (ABS)* that monitors wheel speed, and matches stopping power to available traction.Features may include:Powering the Bandit S is a 1,255cc liquid-cooled, fuel-injected, DOHC, four-cylinder engine delivering a wide spread of power for relaxed cruising or sport riding.Engineered for smooth operation, the engine has an effective secondary balancer shaft.Power is transmitted through a 6-speed transmission using gear ratios chosen for impressive accelerations as well as smooth highway use. Clutch operation is low effort and smooth, with low maintenance, thanks to a hydraulic clutch actuation system. The state-of-the-art Suzuki Dual Throttle Valve (SDTV) digital closed-loop EFI system also delivers improved mileage and reduced emissions. The 4-into-2-into-1 exhaust system is built of steel and stainless steel and is equipped with a catalyzer and HO2 sensor. The large silencer controls sounds while permitting excellent flow to maximize torque and overall engine power. To shed heat from the high torque, large displacement engine, a high capacity radiator is employed. Cooling air is directed to the radiator via the front fender and directed away by the outer fairing shroud.Additional engine cooling comes from a liquid-cooled oil cooler, similar to the type used on the GSX-R750. 2012 Supere Tenere Low Miles! Nicely Equipped!!! Yamaha’s Super Ténéré, XT1200cc adventure-tourer was designed to go head to head against the iconic BMW R1200GS. Tough shoes to fill, but Yamaha is well known for its’ amazing engineering. Yamaha’s big Adventure bike actually has its own off-road legacy. A single-cylinder Ténéré enduro first debuted back in 1983. Then in 1989 the Super Ténéré was introduced as the twin-cylinder XTZ750 and debuted as a European market only bike. This machine went on to win the grueling Paris/Dakar rally six times! And that is were the name came from; Ténéré (ten-eh-ray), is a region in the Sahara desert traversed in the Paris/Dakar rally. If the 750cc parallel-Twin XTZ was a Super Ténéré, this 1200cc model might well be called the Super Duper Ténéré, as it has a 450cc displacement advantage! This bike is a viable contender to BMW’s R1200GS. She is equipped with standard traction control and antilock brakes. Other rider aids lie in the braking system. In addition to standard antilock control, the Ténéré is equipped with Yamaha’s Unified Brake System that links the rear brake to the front lever, helping limit chassis pitching during hard braking that is typical of bikes with long-travel front suspension. Yamaha’s ABS isn’t bad in the dirt and much better than earlier antilock systems, but hardcore riders will wish for an off switch. There is a simple way to disable the ABS, just put the Tenere on its centerstand and run the bike in gear for a bit. This creates an error signal for the ABS system, so it shuts itself off. An ABS error code light illuminates on the instruments, and a rider is now free to lock up and slide the back tire with impunity! This bike is nicel equipped. She is a local bike that has been very well maintained. She has the hard aluminum paniers that are HUGE! The PIA lamps will brighten even the darkest back roads and the heated grips will help extend your riding season. The bike, while not perfect, is in excellent condition. She shows well, has just been fully serviced in our shop and is ready to go anywhere. Across town, the state or even the country. This bike will get you down the road in comfort. Up for sale is my 1986 Honda XL600R. I completely rebuilt this bike during the winter of 2012-2013 (about 1.5 years ago) and built as an adventure-touring motorcycle. At that time I also completely re-did the color scheme, changing it from red/white to what you see now, white/blue/orange. I have listed the mileage as 1200, because that is the miles I've put on the bike since the rebuild. The mileage showing on the odometer is 30,388, and the odometer works so I believe that is correct for the chassis. I went through ALMOST everything on the bike and either refreshed it or replaced it. I am a professional machinist and metal fabricator and, with the exception of the engine top end work, I did all the work myself. In this listing, when I say something is "new" that means it was purchased brand new during the rebuild. FRAME:The bike was stripped down to the frame and the frame was sandblasted. After sandblasting the rear subframe was reinforced to be able to carry extra weight (panniers, top case, extra fuel, etc.). The main cross brace across the top of the rear subframe (the brace which holds the seat) was replaced with 3/16" steel (the original was much less stout, probably .065" thick). Mounting bosses were also welded to the bottom rear of the main frame cradle to make mounting a center stand easier at some point in the future. Flanges were welded to the rear subframe to accept passenger footpegs in the future, and also to provide a place for the luggage racks to be supported. After all that was done, the frame was painted white. ENGINE / FUEL: The top end was re-done with a Wiseco 101mm high compression piston and re-bore to boot. A professional valve job was also done at that time. New cam-chain fitted. The stock carburetors were rebuilt with OEM Honda rebuild kits. The small cast aluminum arms which hold the carburetors together had broken so I fabricated stainless arms which now hold them together; they are stronger than stock. Throttle control cables (as well as all the other cables) were lubed. Fuel petcock disassembled and cleaned. Carbs are jetted for high altitude but I will include a few other jets to play around with. An oil cooler with custom-machined aluminum rock-guard was fitted, and is partially plumbed with aluminum hard-line and AN fittings. Period correct (!) Supertrapp muffler. Headers wrapped with fiberglass header wrap. SUSPENSION: The suspension is all stock. Front fork seals are new. Blue fork boots are new. ELECTRICAL: The CDI unit and the ignition coil are new replacements. The stator is a brand-new (this year) Ricky Stator. Ricky Stator stators are the top-of-the-line replacement units for the XL600R. New battery. All other electrical components are stock and performing well. LIGHTING: The front headlight has been replaced with a pair of 6" round lights. Night-time lighting is excellent. All turn signals, gauge lighting, dash indicator lights, tail lights, and brake lights function properly. BODY: This is where I did most of the custom work. The original fuel tank was painted in the new white/blue/orange color scheme. It is in good shape; there is one small dent on the front right side, a bit smaller than a dime. There is one paint chip on the right side at the edge of the seat. The original seat was reupholstered to match the tank in the same color scheme. The side panels, which were originally white, were re-painted white and 3M blue and orange adhesive sticker sheet material was applied. The white paint is scraping off the side panels in some areas but it's not too noticeable, as the plastic underneath is also white. The rear fender is blue and was originally from a Kawasaki KDX250, and has in integrated tail light. The front fender is from a BMW R100GS, painted white (originally black). Like most BMW stuff it is high quality, and does not buffet around in the wind. The front fairing, which houses the twin headlights, is custom fabricated aluminum. It is painted white and has the same blue/orange 3M sticker material as the side panels. The fairing also carries a short windshield, which is great on the highway. HANDLEBAR AREA: Handlebars are aftermarket Renthal aluminum bars. Grips are black Scott brand. Brushguards (barkbusters) are white plastic without aluminum reinforcements (I have been told the aluminum ones can bend and pinch your hand in a serious crash, plastic is preferable). Bars are mounted on Rox Risers vibration-dampening bar risers, a very nice item. Garmin GPS unit is mounted on handlebars in a custom machined mount which features a power switch (in case you want the GPS off), a USB port (for charging your phone or whatever) and a sun-shade (to reduce glare on the GPS) The stock speedometer is functioning, although a bit jumpy. It is, however, mostly blocked by the GPS, which is no big deal because the GPS has a more accurate speedometer on it anyway. Steering bearings were re-packed with grease. KLR mirrors. BRAKES: A good used front rotor was fitted and is in good shape; its got years of hard use still left. New front brake pads and new rear brake shoes were fitted. Brake fluid in the front brake system was flushed and replaced. TIRES/WHEELS: The wheels were sandblasted and then painted partially orange to match the bike color scheme. Wheel bearings are all new. Tires front and rear are Heidenau K60 Scout, with probably about 1000 miles on them (in other words they are very close to new and have tons of tread left). Tubes were replaced at the time of the new tires. PANNIERS/RACK: I custom designed and fabricated the pannier system, which uses Pelican 1500 cases on both sides. The pannier mounting system is integrated with the rear rack and is entirely fabricated from stainless steel tubing (and small amounts of plate). The goals for the pannier system were that it should be very easy and quick to mount and unmount the bags, and also that the frames should be visually unobtrusive. To that end I made the pannier frames in the shape of an L, as opposed to the more normal rectangle seen on most aftermarket pannier systems. There is also no cross-member that goes across the rear of the bike. In my opinion, those are measures that aftermarket companies take when designing these pannier systems which are intended to make installation easy and "universal", but they don't look good. I really tried to make this system better and I think I succeeded. The bags go onto the bike in about 20 seconds each and come off in 10 seconds. The Pelican cases are, of course, lightweight, crush-proof, and water-proof. The pannier racks are also easily removable, while leaving the rear rack in place. OTHER: Chain is new O-ring. Front fork brace is custom made by me. Air filter is new UNI (the best). There is a custom-made aluminum "tool tube" mounted below the headlights for carrying a tool kit. Fresh oil change ("fresh', as in: this week) Also has XRs Only oil temperature dipstick... nice! This bike was a lot of fun to build and a lot of fun to ride. I took it on one trip up into Colorado and it performed superbly. It was even a little bit faster on the pavement than the KLRs in my group! It has never been dropped or crashed. Bike starts on the first or second kick once you get the hang of the technique. There are videos on youtube which talk about how to kickstart an XL600R. An injury to my right heel has forced me to find a bike with an electric start and that is the reason I'm selling this bike. I am leaving the country for about a month on June 19th, so I will only be listing this bike once before then. It would be best for the new owner to arrange the shipping quickly after the auction is over, although I do have a good friend house-sitting while I am gone and he can help get the bike loaded if need be. eBay has a promotion going on right now which offers $399.00 flat-rate shipping on used motorcycles, which sounds like a pretty good deal to me! Please let me know if you have any questions.. and thanks for looking!
