Mostly stock, but previous seller did some mods to it. He changed the exhaust pipe but I have the original and can include it in the sale of the bike. I've not had it too long, I really need the money from sale is the only reason I am letting go of it, otherwise would love to keep it. It has the street worthy tires on it, in good shape. Everything works on the bike, it has electric start of course no kick start on it. It has a few small dings on gas tank, and marks but nothing major. The only real negative on the bike I know of is that is has some hesitation at low RPM sometimes, I think it may need new plugs, I don't know when they have been changed on it. I am not a bike mechanic so I have not checked anything else technical on it, if you are a gear head of sorts I am sure you know more than I about how to work on bikes. But it does run great and the pipe on it has a great sound, not too loud though.   Buyer is resposible for all shipping, this is local pickup only. If a shipper is hired, seller is only available to let them in the garage to pack/crate it, and is not resposible for any packing. No deposit required upon winning item as I would prefer an all cash deal in person upon pickup. It has a clear title and ready to go. It is basically a brand new bike.The original owner paid almost $7000.00 when he got it taxes dealer fees and all. The bike has the normal DR that everyone discusses at length on a the message boards--- surging in the midrange from being the factory lean settings. I think the carb pilot jet needs a cleaning and the stock tiny inline fuel filter needs replaced.It has some sputtering but I have not ridden a DR650 much and the people that own these aircooled bikes know what is normal and is not.I am used to 2 strokes. The other flaw is there is some very very very minor orange/red paint overspray spots that was on the bike when the previous owner had the bike.It had to be in his garage and got on the bike somehow.You cannot see the spots unless you are really looking close at them and I mean close,they are almost unnoticeable.And they flick right off when you wipe them E-mail any questions...

For sale is my trusty Suzuki DR650SE. This motorcycle is a great bike....Ride around town and to work on the weekdays and hit the trails on the weekend. These bikes have pretty much remained unchanged from 96 to present. This bike is a 2001 DR650SE with just under 12,500 miles. Mechanically bike runs excellent, recently the engine oil, brake fluid, brake pads, cush drive rubbers, chain and both gears (15/42) have been replaced. (Also comes with 14 tooth sprocket) The neutral sending unit (NSU) screw has been lock tighted in place to insure it won't back out. Bikes air box has been opened up and a twinair air filter put in, its jetted with a dynojet kit. Also brake light and turns signals have been updated to lower profile lights. Bike also comes with pelican top box as pictured. It's California plated and tags are good until July 2016. Bike starts right up every time and it's ready to ride where ever you want to go. n old blacksmith once told me, when you walk around with a hammer in your hand all day, everything looks like a nail. This bike is no different. When you ride it, everything seems very doable. It's powerplant is great for inspiring a new rider, or bringing out the kid in all of us. The (2004) bike is reliable, just your like your hammer. Never left me stranded. The really awesome about this bike. It's got an amazing amount of accessories, much like one would put lipstick on a pig. I doubt you find a DR200 with as much in accessories as this one. It's a disease around this place, and somehow, we got our grubby hands on this one too! 1) Suspension: As an entry level bike, the OEM suspension was unremarkable and pogo-ie., so I upgraded both ends and what a difference it made! Front Forks have been upgraded by Racetech with Gold valves and heavier springs Rear Shock is a Works Performance unit 2) Rear Fender If you were a purist, beauty is where function meets form. That is true except when speaking of the hideous OEM rear fender. I replaced it with a more modern, MX type fender. 3) Rear Tail Light LED The rear tail light has been upgraded to LED. The following parts were usedEdge2 Tail LightDRC Edge2 Processor Upgrade Board) by 12 O'clock Labs Quote: This unit gives programmable integrated turn signals to the Edge / Edge2 tail light, as well as safety brake pulsing, a drop in replacement for the OEM led board, the unit also has brighter led's than the stock edge2 board, and is designed with 500,000 life hour capacitors for exceptionally long life operation 4) Rear Luggage Rack by ManRacks 5) Ricochet SkidPlate 6) Front Hand guards which are ProBends By Cyra and Pillow Top Grips 7) Front clutch lever is adjustable 8) Unbreakable Mirrors by Double Take 9) Power mount for a Zumo 660 (Does have a crack in the plastic, but seems to work fine) 10) Front brake line was replaced with Stainless Steel 11) Bar risers 12) After market bars with a higher bend (Protaper SE HandleBars) The not so glorious about this bike: 1) The body plastic has wear. White plastic never stays white. This one is no exception. 2) The left side gas tank has a big dent. It doesn't affect the functionality, but it's a bit of an eyesore 3) The paint has been rubbed by leg contact on the tank. The it probably doesn't matter much: 1) The previous owner(s) modified the airbox. It's suppose to allow more air in and pep up the motor. It's a DR200, I don't think it helped nor hurt the bike so I never fiddled with it 2) The same folks also modified the OEM muffler. I assume that they removed the CAT and maybe shortened it. Again, never bothered me enough to investigate it. Included in the sale is the OEM repair manual, owners manuals, my maintenance log book, and clean title.
