This is an industry with no real guidelines and everyone's opinion is completely different. The average consumer doesn’t realize classic vehicles weren’t restored at the factory and are being restored by people in their garages. Everyone’s level of restoration experience is different and it shows in the restoration. An example would be a classic vehicle that's being advertised as an original model with matching numbers could be a phony with a reproduction trim tag and re stamped numbers on the engine block, etc. Another example would be a classic vehicle is being advertised as a full restoration when indeed only a few things have been restored. There are many classic vehicles listed for sale that have cosmetic and mechanical issues with such items as the body, paint, glass, lights, body hinges, gauges, window components, steering components, upholstery, engine leaks and tuning, radiators, transmission, rear end, brake components and suspension components. The consumers are spending thousands of dollars repairing the classic vehicles they've purchased after the sale. A bad purchase could turn into the buyer’s worst nightmare and be extremely costly! Have a 18" front rim and new tire 110/90/18 and new seals and sealed bearings to go with it also included is the front fender to go with the 18" wheel (the 18" wheel and fender are rare Kawasaki items), the rear wheel is stock h-d and also has a fairly new tire 130/90/16. Over all the bike runs/drives well may need some minor work. Has cv carb, points ignition, lots of one off hand made pieces. The paint is just a spray bomb paint so there is wear and tear,rust spots and such.Have current Mass. title registered as a 1977 FLH Shovelhead. Have "MSO" for the transmission. Up For Sale is my 2007 BMW R1200 GS The bike has only 26k Miles. I am very reluctant to sell this bike but I purchased another Adventure Touring bike and really don't need 2. This is a wonderful bike, absolutely no issues and the bike recently had oil change and New Tires installed (Metzeler Tourance). The bike has MicaTech Aluminum side cases and Givi Top case (48-50 Liter) size. There is a Marsee Tank bag and its constructed of Hard Plastic, so it doesn't loose its shape and it actually mounts to special bracket (easy on easy off). The bike has factory ABS and Heated Grips along with a Taller Cee Bailey Windshield that makes a nice quiet ride. The seat on this bike is different from other BMW seats I see, its a BMW brand but its extremely comfortable and fits the contour of your Butt much better. If this bike sells, its fine but if it doesn't I won't be shedding any tears. Up For Sale is a 2006 Harley Davidson Street Glide with 11k Miles. I did not buy this bike New, It was purchased from and acquaintance who was in the market for a New Bike. No Need to go asking a 100 questions, I purchased this bike with the intention of making a few bucks, if that's a problem don't read any further. With that being said, this is not a New bike, with the main draw back being the fork legs are pitted and not very pretty.The bike looks good but there is some corrosion here and there due to the fact he was an older gentleman and didn't polish like he should. If you will look closely at the head bolts on the engine, that has been addressed with a dress up kit and now they look good.The paint and finish on the bike is good, no unsightly dents or dings. The radio screen is hard to read, but the radio (stereo) works fine. The tires on the bike are in very good condition (Metzeler 880's). This bike is equipped with a Screaming Eagle Stage One Upgrade with Rinehart True Dual Exhaust. This bike rides and sounds great.
