I saw Myers on the 45 WR go over hill at Mineral Wells Texas, said to be the only 45ci to ever go over what was called "The toughest Hill in the south". In 1963 at the AHRA Natl., Green Valley Texas, I watched two men slowly pushing a Red (Bad sounding) A/Fuel Harley to the line, behind them walked a tall thin older man slumped over, I remember his leathers were taped at his boots, he crawled on the Harley an went in low 10's.
