2005 MZ Baghira , For sale is a 2005 MZ Baghira. This bike has all aluminum body work, all plastics were removed. It has a naked/street fighter look. Other wise the bike is basically bone stock with the exception of a cargo net, Twin Air air filter, M4 slip on, DID ERV3 o-ring chain, and a 16T front sprocket (15T sprocket included w/sale). This bike is in great shape, its very clean, and is an absolute blast to bomb around town, commute on the highway, or take on long trips. The oil and filter were just changes, valve clearances checked/adjusted, new battery installed, and air filter cleaned. The Pilot Road 2 tires have plenty of life on them. I found that with my work schedule I have not been able to ride much at all and I could use the money and space. Please feel free to ask any questions. $3,200.00

2001 MZ Baghira , MZ Baghira Supermoto 2001 with only 11000 miles or 17000 km in very good condition for sale. (Looking for an Enduro? :// /dal/mcy/ show contact info html) This is a great commuter bike and is very nimble with great cornering. The oil was just changed and the Airfilter is new too. The tires are new and it has an extra set of nobbies that come with it. (See latest pics) Just came back from a dirt run in Munster TX and it did great off road! This is also a great beginner bike since it handles real smooth and is not too high. (I am 6.2 but it would fit a guy around 5.9 or 6.0 better) Read reviews about the robust Yamaha 660 XT engine that is very easy to maintain will not die. It is a great bike for around town or for longer rides on curvy roads. The breaks are very effective and I just changed the brake pads. All parts I used were US parts :) It also comes with a small but effective windshield that adds to its exotic looks and gives you a more comfortable ride on highways but is also removed in minutes. Here some detail: right mirror replaced by temporary smaller one, original plastics around front are not on the bike or pics (looks better without). Oil/Filter change just done and air filter replaced. Some cooling system tubes replaced and front brake pads replaced. Rear are still good and I have extra ones that I through in. Battery tender cable installed. Lights work perfectly and title in hand... that should sum it up. This is my 2005 MZ 1000S with just 2304 original miles. It sports a 1 liter (999cc) parallel twin fuel injected engine with 117hp and 72 ft/lbs torque, a six speed transmission, adjustable suspension (Marzocchi front & Sachs rear), and Nissin four pot brakes. It is one of the last and perhaps one of the best bikes to come out of the Motorradwerk Zschopau (MZ) factory in Germany before the plant closed in 2012. MZ was once one of the largest and perhaps oldest motorcycle companies in the world. Well known for its 2 stroke engines, MZ traced its history back to pre-war DKW. After WWII, the plant came under communist control (renamed IFA, then MZ). Foreign investment came into East Germany after the fall of the Berlin Wall and eventually the MZ 1000S was born, though we are more familiar with the more common Skorpion and Baghira lines. Uncommon in the USA (30 are said to be stateside), the 1000S is more common in Europe. While the factory is now closed, the spares business in Germany is open (Operated by the former managers of MZ). I order my parts through Graham's Motorcycle, MZ's licensed parts distributer in the UK. Common parts, such as oil filters and spark plugs, are easily available here. The service manual and parts manual are posted there online. Its an easy bike to keep on the road. The engine is an in-house MZ design, the company's first four stroke engine. The engines are said to be bullet proof. The are forums out there which list owners racking up 35-45,000 miles without a valve adjustment, let alone anything major. This bike is in excellent condition but I am thinning my lineup of my unique bikes from far away places. I normally drain all gas, pull the battery and flush any brake fluid with new fluid, so storage was not a problem. I took this bike out of storage last week and I drove it just yesterday, so its ready to go. There are a few small nicks in the gas tank said to be from the previous owner using a tank bag. I will include a brand new black tank striping decal as used on the MZ 1000SFX. Otherwise the bike is as new. Title is clear and in my own name. For a historical perspective, I will include my set of bound service books that were published in 1957 for MZ and Simson motorcycles along with two MZ mascots. I also have some extra odd parts for this bike. All go with. You might guess, I like special motorcycles. So if you have something to trade, let me know. Otherwise make an offer, cash talks. Also for sale locally. Email for an appointment.
