This motorcycle has always been garage kept and has 5256 miles. I know of no mechanical or other defects. Newer Avon AM26 Tires with approximately 1000 miles on them. I am the original owner and the Motorcycle was purchased at a dealership in Lynnwood, Washington in April of 2013. It is under manufacturer warranty until April of 2015. An Original mileage title showing only 50xxx miles   Rare Drop-Head Coupe 1991cc 6 Cylinder engine 4-speed Wilson Preselector gearbox 2 door, four seat Convertible Light Restoration 60 years of History The Armstrong Siddeley Hurricane was a two door, four seat  drophead coupe which was named after the famous RAF Hurricane fighter plane made by the British company of Armstrong Siddeley. This automobile was made from 1946 to 1953 and based on the 1945 Armstrong Siddeley Lancaster. The chassis featured independent front suspension using torsion bars and a live rear axle with leaf springs. A Girling hydro-mechanical braking system was fitted, with the front drums hydraulically operated while those at the rear used rod and cable. The four seat, two door body was made of steel and aluminum panel fitted over a wood and aluminum frame. The doors were rear hinged, an arrangement that got the name of suicide doors. MotoeXotica Classic Cars is pleased to present this handsome and rarely seen 1947 Armstrong Siddeley Hurricane. This is a truly post war British classic, purchased directly at the Armstrong factory by the first owner, an attorney from the Northeaster United States.  In fact, one of the four owners (1952-2015) was a member of the Armstrong Siddeley Owner’s club (ASOC) showing just one example of their love and dedication to this marque! This is a very rare find. She's a 2009 Brammo Enertia. It was picked up late last year as a carryover. The bike is in basically new condition. If you're looking for an electric motorcycle- there's really two options. The Vectrix and the Brammo. Personally, the decision to go with Brammo is a no-brainer. It's backed up by Polaris, and has the support that is unparalleled. Genuinely, these bikes are some of the highest quality machines made. Fun, high quality bits like high end brakes and Elka Suspension. Great rider feedback on power usage. USB connectivity for detailed riding and diagnostic analysis. Geek's dream! You really owe it to yourself to get your feet wet with these motorcycles. It starts, looks and runs perfectly. I can cycle the batteries from full dead to 100% within about 3 hours. To charge from 50% to 100% is around 45 minutes. 70MPH is zero problem on this machine. This has the newest Motor Control available and it's a big improvement over the first generation. Above 70MPH you run into SERIOUS battery drain issues. You might get 20 minutes max above 70mph just isn't designed for that. Range? Well it varies but generally I can get around 55 to 60 miles out of a charge. That's riding hard. Honestly around town you can run it for 2 or 3 days without a full charge. I have the clean and clear title for it, in hand and in my name. Zero issues. Current on inspection and registration. Only 1000 miles on it. I bought the bike thinking it would be good for commuting- but I moved out to the country and just can't justify keeping it. Fun as the bike is, just isn't practical for me. IF you're a courier or a city dweller, this might just be the perfect motorcycle. Never dropped. Never on the ground. Plates are current (just not on the bike) Don't test ride unless you want to wipe the smile off your face as you're writing the check. You'll buy one. I did. Can deliver or ship. Pricing? There aren't enough of them out there to really guess at a price. Green was by far the most rare color produced. Seems like when they go to eBay they bring anywhere from $8000 when new. Truth is, if you can find one you can actually get a 2013 Brammo Enertia for $7000 but they don't come up for sale often. I think $4000 is fair, but I do want to sell it so make me a fair offer. If you have any trouble viewing the slideshow above, please be sure to click on the thumbnail image below to view the web-album with all 33 super-sized photos of this bike: 1938 BMW replica sidecar motorcycle CJ-750 I am the second owner of this nearly exact clone of a 1938 BMW R-71 motorcycle with side-car, just like the German Military used during World War II. A little known fact is that Harley Davidson ALSO copied this BMW design and built a hand full (nearly identical to this bike, except with a springer front fork setup) for the US Military called the Harley XA. None were sold as civilian motorcycles, although they eventually wound up in civilian hands, & are highly sought-after collector’s items. They had this same horizontally-opposed engine configuration and were NOT a transversely mounted V-twin like the rest of Harley’s motorcycles. The U.S. Military even commissioned Delco Corporation (GM?) to build one in a Servi-Car Trike configuration. Indian also copied the BMW design, and built a model called the 841, all with this same style frame & shaft-drive design (a revolutionary idea in the '30s and '40s)! I know it's unbelievable, but you can do a Google Image search to see pictures of all of the above mentioned configurations. Later, the Russian companies Ural & Dnepr acquired the molds from Germany after the two countries signed a non-aggression pact. These motorcycles continued to be built using the original BMW designs until 1950 when Russia put all the molds & dies onto a train, and sent them to the People's Republic of China allegedly as a gift of Communist solidarity. Production resumed under the name CJ-750 which is the brand of this particular motorcycle for sale (CJ stands for the Chang Jiang Aircraft Company, & 750 designates the engine’s displacement). They continued to be built the same way up until 2010, so parts are still quite readily & inexpensively available on eBay & various sites on the internet, which is one of the best things about owning one of these bikes! Some sources say that this is likely the most common motorcycle on the face of the planet… it’s just that extremely few of them ever made it onto U.S. soil because it was such an antiquated design by the time the CJ-750 was being produced by the millions, and Americans wanted the latest styling & modern performance so they were never imported here as new machines. I've learned SO much from the 3 of these bikes I've now owned (cite history-lesson above), and never had a problem finding anything I needed for them. This motorcycle is all original, & it’s a complete bike. As I mentioned above, the engine is a 750cc horizontally-opposed Flathead 2-cylinder 4-stroke with the original points & condenser distributor upgraded to electronic ignition. It has a 4 speed transmission with reverse! Heel-Toe foot-shift, or hand-lever “suicide shifter” on the side of the transmission (I have a linkage kit which attaches to the right side of the tank included with the bike to make it hand-shift if you like the nostalgia of that)! It has a High-speed rear end (goes 60mph). It’s pretty heavy (about 800 pounds with the sidecar plus then you add the weight of 1, 2 or 3 people on top of that), so it’s not a speed-demon (I have a rear-seat which is spring-loaded like the front one, and mounts to the rear fender). Some of the newer models of the CJ-750 have engines with overhead-valve style cylinder heads which can be interchanged, but aren’t as authentic to the original design, and are only slightly more powerful than the old flattie design. They also make the bike a lot wider, and the right jug must be notched if you want to run a sidecar with it. I really prefer the look of this flat-head design. This one features both kick start AND electric start, as well as a modern 12 volt charging system (modern upgrades for reliability). It has modern Mikuni style carbs. Both cylinder’s connecting rods are hinged on the same crankshaft journal (much like a Harley V-Twin), so the engine has a great sound to it. There’s Dual Exhaust, with way-cool fish-tail mufflers. It has very unique clutch & brake levers hinged from the outside. I have it legally titled, licensed & insured in my name as a 2003 Reconstructed Vehicle, and it was inspected by the Iowa D.O.T. to ensure it has front & rear brakes, working high & low beam headlight, turn signals & brake light, etc to be street-legal. The original VIN stamp matches the VIN number on the title. The sidecar headlight & taillight come on when the other lights are on as well, which is a neat touch! The bike fires right up on the first kick (see video above), runs very well and has no known mechanical issues. The carbs are PZ28s, recently cleaned and balanced. This is incredibly RARE, but there are actually NO leaks from the engine, transmission, or rear-end on this bike! All electrical accessories (lights, horn, starter) work properly. Odometer is in Kilometers, BUT you can buy decal-overlays which show both MPH and KPH online for cheap (I did this on the gauge of my last one of these bikes). This machine tracks straight down the road with the sidecar attached, which is easily removed and the bike can be run solo. In my opinion, the dirtier it gets, the better it looks (patina). I kept some pictures from the previous owner in Beverley Hills, California where this bike never saw anything but cobblestone streets and pavement, but mostly I like cruising it on winding, scenic, dirt river-roads (where you would normally never take a 2-wheeled bike). It's got a giant training-wheel off to the side making it incredibly stable. It cleans up beautifully, but just looks more authentic dusty... like it just came out of 75 year barn-storage. I hope you agree... otherwise, I apologize, and can have it polished up before it leaves. Upgrades A number of mechanical and electrical improvements for performance and reliability were made: · The original pistons and rings were replaced with aftermarket high performance 4-ring pistons which give a noticeable boost in power. · Installed a deep sump oil pan and oil pickup to help keep the engine cool. There is a temp gauge on the oil dipstick as it is important to monitor temp on these air-cooled bikes in hot weather. · Replaced the stock fuel lines with clear fuel lines and dual in-line filters. · Added brass fittings to the carbs to assist in synchronizing with a manometer. · Replaced the stock air cleaner with a smaller BMW-style filter unit, resulting in a less cluttered appearance and better engine breathing. · Upgraded the electrical system with solid-state electrics including a modern voltage regulator, rectifier board and starter solenoid. These parts are enclosed in a locked toolkit mounted to the side of the bike, resulting in far better reliability and a more vintage appearance than standard. I have a matching primered toolkit for the opposite side of the bike for symmetry, which could be painted black to match, and installed as well. 2010 Custom Chopper Motorcycle. This is a true custom chopper, one of a kind. This chopper is in good condition, the paint is a custom paint job with air brushed skulls on the chopper. The paint is in great condition and the custom paint job is truly a work of art from a skilled artist. The motor is a Ultima 127 cubic inch, with a Ultima open belt primary, and a Ultima 6 speed trans. The drive train alone is valued at about $6,500.00. The chopper runs strong and loud with custom short pipes on it. This is a custom chopper and it does not have a odometer on the motorcycle. I do not know what the current or exact mileage is. It featured an air-cooled 345 cc (21.1 cu in) two-stroke parallel-twin engine, which produced 37 hp (27.6 kW; 37.5 PS) at 7,500 rpm, and could hit a claimed top speed of 95 mph (153 km/h). Approximately 9,000 units were built. It was the last motorcycle built by the company, as they opted to focus on producing tires instead. Introduced in 1967, the 350 GTR was, for its time, a middleweight displacement motorcycle, and used an air-cooled 345 cc (21.1 cu in) two-stroke parallel-twin engine, which produced 37 hp (27.6 kW; 37.5 PS) at 7,500 rpm. Although a mostly conventional design, the engine featured a rotary disc-valve induction system, allowing more precise management of the gasses inside the engine than traditional piston-port systems did. Two of these disc valves were used (one per cylinder), and a 26 mm Mikuni carburetor was bolted to each one.The six-speed gearbox was also a plus point, as was the ability for the 350 GTR's riders to use either their left foot or their right foot to change gear; the gear lever and rear brake pedals could be swapped around in order to allow this. However, the gearbox did cause issues for some riders, as neutral was located in an unusual place; at the top of the gearbox, as most motorcycles placed this gear between first and second. Chassis-wise, the 350 GTR was fairly conventional, as it used a steel twin-cradle frame, gaitered front forks with twin shock absorbers at the rear, 19" wheels and drum brakes.As Bridgestone were not known for their motorcycles, the public were generally skeptical about the 350 GTR, and the bike's high price (close to the much bigger Triumph Bonneville) meant that sales were low; just 9,000 bikes were built between 1967 and 1971. This would be the last motorcycle that Bridgestone ever produced. However, reviewers both past and present have generally been very positive about the motorcycle. Cycle praised the bike's engine, transmission and brakes, also stating that "Never before have so many advanced features been incorporated into a single package." Cycle World praised the bike's styling, its comfortable riding position, and stated that it was "as big and as fast as any 500." Roland Brown of Motorcycle Classics praised the bike's usability, and the responsive nature of the engine. Accelerating out of a curve with the two-stroke engine revving hard, sun gleaming off the chromed tank and a high-pitched exhaust note providing a vivid soundtrack, it’s easy to understand why the 1967 Bridgestone 350 GTR was widely regarded as one of the best Sixties middleweights around. It’s also a bit sad to think that this model was the high point for a firm that abandoned motorcycle production shortly after it was built.The Bridgestone 350 GTR was one of the most sophisticated Japanese motorcycles of the Sixties, featuring a disc-valve induction parallel twin engine as well as generally high quality construction. Almost three decades after it was built, this immaculate GTR impresses with its neat looks, crisp performance and reliable handling. Yet only a few years after this bike rolled out of the factory in 1967, Bridgestone not only ceased production of the GTR but gave up making motorcycles altogether to concentrate on the Bridgestone tires for which the Japanese company is still well known.After riding the twin, that decision seems strange, although it makes more sense when you realize that the little two-stroke was expensive, costing as much as a Triumph Bonneville in some markets. The GTR was good all right, but in most people’s minds it wasn’t that good. Most motorcyclists were unconvinced about the appeal of the relatively little-known Japanese company and its flagship two-stroke twin, with the result that relatively small numbers of GTRs were sold before production ended in 1971. Induction production The most notable aspect of the 350 GTR’s 345cc parallel twin engine was its rotary disc-valve induction system, which allowed much more precise control of gasses than the more simple piston-ported design being used by rival two-stroke roadsters. Ironically, Bridgestone’s Japanese rival Suzuki had considerable experience racing disc-valve two-strokes, but the firm’s 250cc Super Six roadster, also a two-stroke twin, was piston-ported. Suzuki’s experience dated back to 1961, when MZ factory racer and engineer Ernst Degner defected from East Germany, bringing his team’s secrets with him and passing them on.Bridgestone’s twin used a disc valve (one for each cylinder) on each end of its crankshaft, with a 26mm Mikuni carburetor bolted outside each valve. Another neat feature was the “piggy-back” alternator, situated above the engine rather than at the end of the crankshaft, making the GTR unit quite slim despite its side-mounted carbs. Peak output was normally claimed to be 37hp at 7,500rpm, although a figure of 40hp was also quoted in some materials.The GTR’s advanced engine features did not end with its induction. Lubrication was by a Yamaha-style pump-operated system, to which Bridgestone added the refinement of inspection windows for both engine and gearbox oil. The GTR impressed with its six-speed gearbox, and with its facility to swap the gear lever and rear brake pedals to give a left- or right-foot gearchange, both of which were commonly used at the time.Generally the GTR is very easy to ride, and responsive through the rev range, with no evidence of the two-stroke power step that I’d expected. With 40hp on tap (assuming you accept the higher of Bridgestone’s claimed figures for the GTR) the twin is hardly powerful by modern standards. But it is still lively enough to be fun, and to make me understand why the model impressed most people who rode one in the late Sixties.Back in the day, the Bridgestone’s revvy engine and light weight of just over 350lb made the two-stroke a match for almost any bike off the line: Bridgestone quoted a standing quarter-mile time of 13.7 seconds. And even though it wasn’t really as quick as that, the GTR provided plenty of acceleration away from the lights — and if the front wheel did come up occasionally to produce that Sixties rarity of a wheelie, I can’t imagine many wide-eyed owners would have complainedUnfortunately for Bridgestone, the GTR’s quality came at a high price, for in most markets the bike cost considerably more than rival Japanese two-strokes, and it was competing directly with larger-engined four-strokes. It also faced resistance from riders who were dubious about a high-performance two-stroke’s reliability. This concern was not unreasonable, given the problems that early engines had with oil seals, and with broken air filter parts being sucked into the engine.Relatively small numbers were sold following the model’s U.S. introduction in 1966, and the GTR also failed to trouble the sales charts in Europe when it was released there in the following year. By 1968 Bridgestone was coming under pressure from rival Japanese companies, which were also customers for its tires, Bridgestone’s most important product; bikes were really only a sideline. The story goes that Honda applied pressure, suggesting that if Bridgestone wanted to continue supplying the huge numbers of tires Honda purchased, it should consider its priorities. Shortly afterwards, Bridgestone quit bike manufacture to concentrate on tires. “But if the brakes are good, the engine/transmission unit is fantastic. Never before have so many advanced features been incorporated into a single package.
